Watch PinkPantheress Take on the ‘Tonight' Dance Challenge With Doechii: ‘Chewed Me Up So Bad'

PinkPantheress just tried out the viral dance to her new single 'Tonight' with a little help from Doechii — and the British singer-songwriter thinks the Swamp Princess totally outdid her at her own song's trend.
In a clip posted to Pink's TikTok Thursday (April 10), the two hitmakers stand side by side while blowing kisses, popping their hips and strutting toward the camera to the lyrics, 'You want sex with me? Uh-huh/ Come talk to me, come on/ You want sex with me? Uh-huh/ Come talk to me, come on.'

At the end, the 'Boy's a Liar Pt. 2' artist smiles as the Florida native laughs and signals with her hands to the cameraperson to cut. 'chewed me up so bad i didnt stand a bloody chance,' Pink wrote of her dance partner in her caption.
And when fans in the comments couldn't stop pointing out how much she towered over Doechii in the video, Pink added on X, 'you guys didn't know i was a whole 5'9 feet tall?!!!'
Both the dance-pop musician and rapper performed at H&M's inaugural music festival in Los Angeles Wednesday (April 9), filming their TikTok together backstage. Uncle Waffles, Robyn, Jamie xx and SAILORR also took the stage.
The video comes a week after Pink dropped 'Tonight,' which marks her first proper release since May 2024's 'Turn It Up.' The track has been taking off on social media thanks to the dance trend as well as a stylish regency era-inspired music video that earned praise from Charli XCX; 'i love the new pinkpanthress video <3,' wrote the Brat Summer ringleader on X, to which Pink replied, 'omg just shat myself.'
The song will appear on the producer's recently announced mixtape, Fancy That, which drops May 9. Earlier this week, Pink unveiled the project's tracklist, with 'Tonight' nestled amongst songs titled 'Illegal,' 'Girl Like Me,' 'Stars,' 'Intermission,' 'Noises,' 'Nice To Know You,' 'Stateside' and 'Romeo.'

Jade Thirlwall Blasts 'White and Privileged' Celebrity Over Politics Remark

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall took aim at The 1975's Matty Healy over his apolitical stance. Newsweek reached out to Healy's representative via email for comment on Monday. Why It Matters England-born Thirlwall, 32, rose to fame on The X Factor in 2011 as a member of Little Mix. The British girl group also consists of Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards. In December 2020, Jesy Nelson announced her departure from the band, citing mental health reasons. Little Mix went on hiatus in 2022 to focus on solo projects. Healy—who famously dated Taylor Swift—is the lead vocalist of The 1975. The British band gained mainstream recognition with hits like 2013's "Chocolate" and 2022's "About You." What To Know In an interview with The Guardian, which was published on Saturday, Thirlwall criticized Healy for not speaking out about politics. "I don't think you can be a pop artist and cover your eyes. I saw Matty Healy say that he doesn't want to be political, which I found disappointing," she told the outlet. "It's very easy for someone who's white and straight and very privileged to say that. Good for you, hun!" Jade Thirlwall attends the launch party for Leigh-Anne's "Don't Say Love" at Restaurant Ours on June 15, 2023 in London, Warner Music UK LTD Thirlwall appeared to be referring to The 1975's Glastonbury set in June, during which Healy said he made a "conscious decision" to refrain from discussing the current political climate. "People who are watching this may—I don't know... They may be disappointed in the lack of politics in this show and our forthcoming shows and probably our future shows. I want you to know that it's a conscious decision," Healy said, per Variety. "We honestly don't want our legacy to be one of politics. We want it to be that of love and friendship. I'm not trying to be too earnest, but you can go out into the world and there's loads of politics everywhere. We don't need more politics. We need more love and friendship." The 36-year-old continued: "I know that's really basic, but if you are a young kid and you are inspired by, like, this band or something like that—don't aspire to play a stage or be a certain size. Aspire for this level of friendship and love in what you do and you'll never fail. And I love you." Shortly afterward, however, the rock band began their tune "Love It If We Made It," which displayed images of President Donald Trump, Kanye West, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and more. Steve Jennings/WireImage In 2015, Thirlwall took over Little Mix's X account and said she was "truly saddened and ashamed" by the U.K. parliament voting to launch air strikes in Syria. "So, so sorry to the innocent people of Syria xxjadexx," she posted at the time. "I got in a bit of trouble for that," she told The Guardian. What People Are Saying On X, pop culture account Pop Crave posted Thirlwall's quote about Healy, and people shared their thoughts in the comments. Some people disagreed with Thirlwall. X user @moraltreason wrote: "People don't want everything to be political. Whether it's sports, film, music, comedy, restaurants, etc. It only ruins it." @St0rmShadowX said: "No, i go to the entertainment industry (movies, music, art, etc) to escape stupid and divisive politics. I dont remember paying artists to preach to me." Others, meanwhile, defended her remarks. @MissAmeliaNancy posted: "A queen." @master_baiter19 added: "She's so real." One person, meanwhile, was on the fence. @jvs33ph chimed in: "I'm two sided on it tbh. I definitely agree with her that it is disappointing that a lot of people don't speak about politics, but also considering how big a lot of artists are, I get speaking on certain issues arise a lot of security risks and people who wish genuine harm on them." What Happens Next Thirlwall's debut solo album titled That's Showbiz Baby! will be released on September 12.

Morgan Wallen Continues His Annual Winning Streak

Hip-hop and country are not two styles that are typically associated with one another, although that long-standing gap has been closing over the last several years. There have been a handful of crossover smashes, including 'Old Town Road' by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus and Shaboozey's 'A Bar Song (Tipsy),' that have blended the two styles and performed historically well, with several artists — including those from the rap world — recently recruiting country stars and vice versa. A number of those collaborations have become hits on the Billboard charts, and there's another instance of acts from what were once thought to be completely different areas of the music business working together to create a big win on the rankings at the moment. 'Miami' by Morgan Wallen Debuts on the Rhythmic Airplay Chart Recently, Morgan Wallen released a remix version of his song 'Miami,' originally a solo cut featured on his blockbuster album I'm the Problem. The track is now available as a collaborative take featuring Lil Wayne and Rick Ross. That tune debuted on a number of Billboard lists last week, and as it falls on half a dozen rosters, it manages to launch on one other roster. 'Miami' opens on the Rhythmic Airplay chart this week at No. 24. The Rhythmic Airplay list is one of several tallies published by the company that focus on hip-hop, rap, and R&B, and show the most successful tunes across a variety of slightly different radio formats. Morgan Wallen's Three Rhythmic Airplay Chart Hits Wallen has now scored three career appearances on the Rhythmic Airplay chart. That's a huge sum for a country musician, as the vast majority will never have a tune promoted to the format. He first reached the list in 2023 alongside Lil Durk, as 'Stand by Me' climbed to No. 35. Last summer, 'Whiskey Whiskey,' which is fronted by Moneybagg Yo, spent 17 frames on the Rhythmic Airplay chart, eventually peaking at No. 10 and becoming Wallen's first – and so far only – top 10 on the tally. Now that 'Miami' is present on the list, Wallen has earned a new hit on the Rhythmic Airplay roster in each of the past three years. Lil Wayne and Rick Ross on the Rhythmic Airplay List Unsurprisingly, both Ross and Wayne have performed significantly better than Wallen when it comes to the Rhythmic Airplay chart. Ross has scored 39 career appearances, half a dozen of which have cracked the top 10, and counted among that sum are two leaders. Wayne, meanwhile, passed triple-digit wins some time ago. He has now racked up 44 top 10s and a lucky 13 leaders throughout the decades. 'Miami' Lives Inside the Top 10 In America, 'Miami' — the remix version — is still living inside the top 10 on both the Country Streaming Songs and Hot Country Songs charts, though it dips to Nos. 8 and 9, respectively. The tune falls outside the highest tier on the Streaming Songs tally, dropping from No. 9 to No. 24, while it just barely manages to hold on inside the top 40 on the Hot 100, where it can be found at No. 39. On that roster, 'Miami' has racked up five stays, both as a solo cut and now as a remix, with all three names credited.

Mom Influencer Defends Why She's Been Doing Her Kids' Homework for Years

A 32-year-old content creator's candid confession has sparked a debate on her socials NEED TO KNOW Influencer and mom-of-three shared a candid confession about how she helps her children with school work on TikTok Her remarks sparked a debate in the comment section, including parents with mixed reactions Some followers praised her honesty, while others questioned the message it sends about responsibility Influencer and girl mom — a title proudly displayed on her TikTok and Instagram bio — Lottie Weaver has something to get off her in the school carpool line, the 32-year-old mom-of-three hit record and made a candid confession to her millions of followers. 'I have a confession to make, and if you are my kid's school teacher, just keep swiping,' she — who shares her life with three daughters, Berklie, 12, Kinlee, 9, and Hadley, 6, on social media — went on to admit that she 'sometimes' gives her girls 'the answers to their homework.''After the kids have been at school all day, done their work, been on their best behavior and they come home with homework… sometimes I give them the answers to their homework,' she said in the explained that after a long school day, she doesn't always see the point in pushing them to finish every question on their own. Weaver recalled a recent moment with her youngest daughter, Hadley, describing how the 6-year-old began to fidget and lose focus toward the end of a homework assignment.'Hadley came home from school yesterday — she is so well-behaved at school,' she continued. 'We get home, we're sitting, we're doing homework — you can tell she starts to get ancy towards the end. She's starting to get frustrated; she's starting to get over it. So, like the last four or five questions, I just give them the freaking answers.'Rather than drawing out the frustration, the mom-of-three said she simply provided the last few answers for said her daughters 'are so good at school' — earning good grades and turning in all their assignments — which is why she doesn't mind stepping in when she sees them 'getting ancy, fidgety and annoyed.'In those moments, she admitted, she'll 'give them the answers,' and the same goes for school projects, where she often takes on a large share of the work.'As a kid, that's a lot and that's hard,' she explained. 'Our job as parents is to help them; some may disagree, but I don't really care. I've been doing it since Berkeley [her oldest daughter] was the little one, and I'm gonna do it until Hadley's [her youngest] is all big.' After going viral, Weaver responded to the mixed reactions in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. "If my kids were behind in school or getting bad grades, I obviously wouldn't be giving them answers," Weaver tells PEOPLE."They are well behaved at school [and] they all excel academically, so I will always lend a helping hand if they are staying on top of school," she continues. "It's such a long day being at school all day, sitting quietly and doing work. I try my best to help."The post quickly sparked chatter among her followers, with some applauding her honesty while others questioning whether it crossed the line between support and overstepping.'Big yikes,' one follower wrote, while another chimed in, 'Homework is ridiculous, they spend hours in school.'Others sided with Weaver, with one user saying, 'I don't see anything wrong with this,' and another questioning the overall reaction: 'Why is everyone agreeing with this?'
