The brother of a man who went missing while fishing in the waters off southern NSW has offered a $25,000 reward for help as the desperate search enters its third day.
Mohammed Saad, writing on social media on Wednesday night, said 'it's time Micky comes home', offering $25,000 to anyone who locates the man.
'Tomorrow searches will resume between Port Kembla and Batemans Bay,' he posted.
'$25,000 reward to whoever locates our brother.
'All we want is Micky to come home and with this $25,000 reward I'm sure will get the number of boats we need out there to search for him.'
The desperate multi-agency search ramped up on Tuesday night after the boat of the 35-year-old fisherman was found off Sydney's south.
'Just after 7pm (on Tuesday), officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were called to a boat ramp near Port Hacking Rd, Dolans Bay, due to concerns a man had not returned after going fishing earlier in the day,' police said in a statement.
'Police were told the 35-year-old man left Dolans Bay about 9am in his 6m boat.'
The Water Police, Marine Rescue NSW and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority were called in to search for the man.
The AMSA Challenger jet located the boat at 12.15am on Wednesday some 15 nautical miles off Port Kembla.
Botany Water Police recovered the boat, but there was no sign of the man.
The search resumed again on Thursday morning.

Loved one of missing Sydney fisherman shares emotional update as searchers race against time to find him

The loved one of a missing fisherman has revealed rescuers are in a race against time to find him as looming bad weather threatens to halt their search efforts. Mohammed 'Micky' Hamade, 35, set off from Dolans Bay, in Sydney's south, in his six-metre boat about 9am on Tuesday, but failed to return home that night to his wife and three children. Authorities later found his boat idling about 30km off Port Kembla about 12.15am on Wednesday, but there was no sign of Hamade. As a major search operation — which has involved not only authorities but scores of Hamade's loved ones— reached its fifth day on Sunday, Mohammed Saad shared a video to Facebook revealing the timeframe to find him is narrowing. 'It's the last good day for the next week to get out there,' he said, his eyes brimming with tears. 'We are currently on the way to Ulladulla. Thank you for everyone's help. Inshallah (god willing) we can find him and locate him today. 'As I said, the weather does worsen from tomorrow for the next week, with big wind and big rain. 'So today will most likely be the last day that we can head out.' Saad shared his gratitude for everyone who has assisted in the search to find Hamade, which has included a group of 40 volunteers. 'Thank you, thank you. Honestly, thank you,' he said. 'Not just from me, from his family, for everyone who has headed out. 'I wish I could show everyone the amount of messages I get about where to look and where to go and how to help. 'Micky deserved that. He deserved it more than anyone.' Hamade's family have offered a $25,000 reward for anyone who can help bring him home. Volunteers have spent the past few days travelling between Sydney and the NSW south coast to conduct searches in tough weather conditions. Friend Mick Kaz said he and 39 other men have been split into groups of four or five to pore over beaches, harbours, and headlands from Sussex Inlet down to Bateman's Bay. 'We have been out all night having a look through out the beaches, the headlands, the rocks, the cliffs — anything that could give us a chance,' he said on Sunday morning. 'We have tried to look for signs — and the main sign we looked for was seeing the currents push the seaweed and debris onto shore. 'Lord give us a miracle today. Bless us and give us a sign to try and locate our brother Mohammed.' The update comes as Hamade's friends have rallied to support his family, with a GoFundMe set up to assist them financially with bills and unforeseen costs as they navigate the crisis. Organiser Kassem Bazzi said Hamade 'was a devoted husband to his wife and a loving father to their three beautiful children' who was 'loved by many with his selfless nature, charming smile and laugh that lightened any mood'. 'His disappearance has brought darkness to whomever knows him. Leaving his family in unimaginable pain, facing uncertainty while trying to hold on to hope that has now diminished,' Bazzi said. 'Micky's friends are banding. Raising funds to help his wife and children with not only everyday expenses, bills, and any unforeseen costs as they navigate this crisis but to be able to establish a foundation that Micky is no longer around for.' Authorities involved in the search include Water Police, Marine Rescue NSW and Surf Life Saving, and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, which has been managing several aircrafts.

Devastated mates offer $25k in search for missing Sydney fisherman after empty boat found

Devastated friends of a missing Sydney fisherman have put up a $25,000 reward in a bid to find their mate, who has been missing for days at sea. Michael Hamde, 35, was last seen on Tuesday skippering his boat out from Port Hacking in Sydney's southeast on Tuesday morning. Maritime authorities found Mr Hamde's boat was found out at sea in the early hours of Wednesday, roughly 50km to the south of where he left Sydney, off Port Kembla. Mr Hamde's friend Mohammed Saad offered a $25,000 reward for whoever could help locate 'our brother'. 'All we want is Micky to come home and with this $25,000 reward I'm sure we will get the number of boats we need out there to search for him,' Mr Saad posted online Wednesday night. Mr Saad is leading a large-scale search of volunteers on Friday. Mr Hamde was alone on his six-metre boat. It is unknown if he was wearing a lifejacket. Mr Saad was trailing his friend on another boat. 'I spoke to him last on Tuesday, roughly 8.30am, he was heading out, we were chasing tuna that day, we don't know what happened,' Mr Saad said in a video recorded out at sea, as he searched for his friend. 'We hope that you all pray for him, so we can bring him back to his family,' Mr Saad said. 'We will do the best we can to find him.' On Thursday night, Mr Saad said more than 300 boats planned to join the search on Friday. 'The search is going to be between Port Hacking and Batemans Bay,' he said. Smaller boats and jetskis would search the headlands while larger boats head further out, Mr Saad said, starting about 6.30am. 'Hopefully we can locate him early and we can bring him home to his family. 'Thankyou to everyone who's been out there the last few days helping us.' Marine Rescue NSW uses a tracking app which records a boat's position every 30 minutes. Marine Rescue NSW commissioner, Alex Barrell, told Channel 9 the app was crucial. 'It can track your location. It will send a ping every 30 minutes back to our incident management system so we know exactly where you are.' Mr Hamde's boat was found by a marine rescue crew about 30km off Port Kembla. The Marine Rescue NSW searchers were forced to abandon Thursday's search about midday because of poor visibility.
