Scots drug kingpin Ross 'Miami' McGill warned 'We'll take you out in the desert'
Dubai-based drugs kingpin Ross McGill has been warned by his enemies that he'll be taken out in the desert. The chilling threat was made by rivals fronted by mob boss Mark Richardson and Glasgow's Daniel crime clan.
They have demanded McGill, 31, comes back to Scotland to face them or else he'll be targeted in the United Arab Emirates. In a message posted online they said: 'It will have to be the desert in Dubai.
"Come home. Finish what you started. No more hide and seek.' Other posts have branded McGill a 'rat' and a 'p***y'. The feud started after an associate of Richardson, 38, ripped off McGill for £500,000 in a drug deal.
McGill's Tamo Junto gang then waged war on the caged crime boss and the Daniels. Cops have so far made 55 arrests in connection with the feud as part of Operation Portelage. It's seen claims McGill has run out of foot soldiers and is lying low.
A source said: "McGill has been splashing the cash getting a bunch of young laddies to carry out his attacks and record it on their phones.
"All while he hides out in Dubai and then leaks the footage. Anyone with a bit of cash can do what he's done. It's time for him to be a man and front up. The net is closing in on him."

It was reported last month McGill was confronted by another gangster at a gym in Dubai over the heat he has brought. Stephen 'Jimmy' Jamieson is understood to have clashed with McGill during the bust-up.
The most recent arrest linked to the gang war was on July 18, when a man was collared and charged in connection with wilful fireraising and firearms offences.
Jordan Steele, 38, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on July 21 in connection with the alleged firebombing of the Belle Cheveux beauty salon in the city's Leith on March 6.
Steele was charged with firearms offences, including possessing a firearm without authorisation. He made no plea and was granted bail.
A 26-year-old man was also arrested in connection with alleged damage at a property on Walter Scott Avenue in Edinburgh on June 12 and an alleged wilful fireraising at a property on Jackson Way in Tranent, East Lothian, the next day.
Another 26-year-old man was charged in connection with two alleged vehicle fires in nearby Port Seton on May 18. Numerous firebombings and violent attacks have been carried out in Edinburgh and Glasgow since the feud erupted in March.

Top female BBC star at centre of 'nude scandal' after showing X-rated pic to junior colleague
The unnamed BBC star, who allegedly showed the unsolicited nude snap to a junior colleague, is said to be one of the highest earners in the Beeb this year. A well known female star on the BBC has reportedly been involved in a shocking scandal after allegedly showing an unsolicited nude snap to a junior colleague which comes as the latest controversy under the broadcaster's watch. According to The Sun, the presenter, who has not yet been named, is said to be a high earner in the company and ranked in the Corporation's top 50 highest paid this year. The unnamed star allegedly showed a graphic image of a nude man's genitals on her phone during a conversation about personal preferences, leaving the recipient 'completely horrified". The identity of the male in the snap remains unknown but insiders claim the interaction was intended as 'jokey, locker-room banter". However, the situation took an uncomfortable turn and is said to have left the junior staff member in tears. A source described the scandal as a "ticking time bomb". They warned: 'As soon as the name of this woman - and details of her bad behaviour - are unleashed, it will derail entire departments and mark the first female to be formally swept up into the BBC's wrongdoing roll call. "The woman asked the young producer if she liked 'd*** pics' and then showed her a picture on her mobile phone. "It was meant to be jokey, locker-room type banter, but the woman was completely horrified and cried about it. 'No one minds a bit of office banter, but this was on another level. She felt like it was an intentionally shocking move to intimidate, veiled as a joke. It was way too much. 'The woman had to apologise to the girl. It's double standards, but somehow a woman being involved in showing d**k pics feels much more offensive than a male. "The release of her name would be seismic.' This would mark the first time a female BBC star has been swept into the broadcaster's growing list of controversies. The alleged incident adds to the BBC's growing pile of scandals with the Beeb still recovering from heavily reported misconduct claims involving other high-profile stars. These include MasterChef hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode, who were recently axed following an investigation into their behaviour behind the scenes. Earlier this year, former newsreader Huw Edwards admitted to multiple charges relating to indecent images and was handed a suspended prison sentence. The BBC responded to the latest scandal by saying: "While we do not comment on individual cases, we take all complaints about conduct at work extremely seriously." Even flagship shows such as Strictly Come Dancing have not escaped scrutiny. The BBC dance show faced a major shake up after allegations against ex-professional dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima were raised, both of whom have now been replaced. Earlier this year, former BBC radio host Russell Brand was also charged with rape, indecent assault and sexual assault between 1999 and 2005. This triggered a wider inquiry into institutional safeguarding failures during his time with the broadcaster in the 2000s. All of these scandals, which span across news, entertainment, and reality formats, have prompted repeated calls for reform, with critics calling for greater transparency and accountability from the publicly funded media giant.

Faslane Navy base pervert who groped female colleague at bar locked up
The engineering technician has been caged for 34 weeks SAILOR'S SHAME Faslane Navy base pervert who groped female colleague at bar locked up Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A FASLANE-based Royal Navy sailor has been jailed after he groped a female colleague at a bar in Iceland. Able Seaman Craig Kennedy, 25, was caught red-handed sexually assaulting the woman but still refused to accept it even though there was 'overwhelming' CCTV evidence. The footage also showed AB Kennedy, an engineer in the Navy, staggering around in a 'state of extreme intoxication'. A court martial heard his victim had to be prescribed anti-depressants, struggles to be around men and has applied to leave the Navy. AB Kennedy, stationed at HM Naval Base Clyde - the nuclear submarine base known as Faslane - insisted she made the story up. Now, the engineering technician has been locked up for 34 weeks at a military detention centre. AB Kennedy, who was in the Navy for almost five years, was also dismissed from the service and put on the Sex Offenders Register for five years. Catterick Military Court, North Yorks, was told AB Kennedy groped the sailor while they were working together in Iceland. He groped her under her skirt, it was heard. Sentencing him, Assistant Judge Advocate General Edward Legard said: 'At that time, both yourself and [the victim] were deployed to Iceland. 'You were previously not well known to one another but during the course of an evening, you struck up a conversation, which began as a light-hearted one. Sailor investigated over 'stealing secrets' from nuclear submarine at Scots base 'That continued for some time whilst you were in the company of others in the American Bar in Reykjavík. 'However, as [the victim] was looking in a different direction to you, whilst in a state of extreme intoxication, you grabbed her first on her bottom and then subsequently touched her on her vaginal area. 'Those assaults were both caught on CCTV. 'You can be seen on CCTV staggering around with little, if any, control of your physical movements. 2 A Faslane Navy base pervert has been locked up for groping a female colleague Credit: John Kirkby 'You refused to accept any responsibility for your actions that night and you continue to do so. 'You maintained your denials in the face of overwhelming CCTV evidence, and you continue to do so.' AB Kennedy denied two counts of sexual assault but was convicted at court martial. The court was told that his attack caused a 'profound and lasting impact' on his victim. In sending AB Kennedy to military detention, Judge Legard told him: 'This type of behaviour is unacceptable today. 'It goes without saying that anyone in the civilian world, convicted of such an offence, would inevitably be dismissed for gross misconduct. 'That is no different here, where the services, of course, demand higher standards of behaviour.'

Brit, 54, has legs amputated in Thailand after 'hit and run' leaves him needing 24/7 care
WARNING, GRAPHIC CONTENT: An alleged it and run in Thailand left a British man requiring surgery to amputate both of his legs. Willie Braid is still recovering in a Bangkok hospital A British expat lost both of his legs in an alleged hit and run in Thailand. Willie Braid, 54, was involved in a crash with a lorry while he was riding a motorbike in the capita l of Bangkok on July 27. The Scottish man was then rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries and the driver of the lorry is alleged to have fled the scene. Following the crash and the injuries Willie sustained, he suffered kidney failure and was placed in an induced coma. Both of his legs had to be amputated below the knee and he still requires round the clock care in hospital. It comes after a schoolboy, 13, has both legs amputated after 'getting cramp' at sports camp. READ MORE: NATO scrambles warplanes as Russia shoots down West's F-16 fighter jet in Ukraine onslaught His sister June, who flew out to Thailand after she was informed of the crash, said Willie has come out of the coma but 'doesn't know where he is or what's happened'. She explained he 'recognises us, but he's very confused'. She told the Daily Record: "He's come out of the coma but he doesn't know where he is or what's happened. He recognises us, but he's very confused. We've got a psychiatrist working with him but he has no comprehension of his injuries or his amputations, he's delirious. "That could be caused by trauma or an infection. Thankfully, he is receiving exceptional care from the medics here, who are doing everything they can to get him better." Willie, who has lived in Thailand for five years, is also receiving kidney dialysis following the crash. It is expected that he could remain in hospital for at least three months. June continued: "I'm not sure how long I'll stay out here for. Right now, I'm taking everything day by day. Willie will have to stay in the trauma unit for the foreseeable future before he can be moved into rehabilitation. As it stands, he cannot fly, but thankfully he's in the best hands possible." Willie will require lifetime support once he is discharged from hospital and will need to move into supported accommodation. June has now launched a fundraiser to help pay for his rehabilitation and medical bills. She continued: "Willie's road to recovery will be long and challenging. He will require 24/7 care in Bangkok, as he is unable to travel until his wounds heal. "Once he is stable, he will undergo rehabilitation and be fitted for prosthetic legs, which will help him regain his independence. With that said, we're seeking support during this difficult time." Nearly £5,000 has been raised since the fundraiser was launched earlier this month. Meanwhile, June and her family are receiving support from the British Embassy in Thailand to trace those responsible for the alleged hit and run and bring them to justice. He added: "Right now, we're receiving support from the embassy to find a lawyer who will take our case up with the police. Until then, we will be fundraising to get Willie better."
