Amanda Owen has fans sobbing after sharing emotional update with beloved dog

Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen left fans feeling emotional after she shared some adorable photos of her and her children out in the Yorkshire Dales, with her beloved dog
Amanda Owen had supporters reaching for the tissues after posting a touching message on social media.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess became a household name alongside her family, including former spouse Clive - from whom she separated in 2022 - and son Rueben, through the Channel 5 programme Our Yorkshire Farm which launched in 2018.

The programme brought viewers into the world of the Owen household, documenting the family's life on their vast 2000-acre property, Ravenseat Farm.

The programme follows Amanda and her brood as they face the demanding task of renovating their fresh dilapidated farmhouse, reports the Express.
Yet on Saturday (August 2) Amanda had supporters feeling rather sentimental following a touching social media update. Using her Instagram platform, Amanda posted some sweet photographs of herself and her youngsters exploring the Yorkshire Dales, accompanied by her cherished dog herding sheep.

She wrote alongside the images with news about her latest television programme: "Whilst on the subject of gathering up, clipping, and turning away sheep. It is now time to chase ewe too. To Our Farm Next Door on channel 4 at 6.10pm tonight Saturday)."
However, it was a particular image of Amanda with her dog that sparked considerable discussion.

Flocking to the comments area, admirers couldn't hold back their feelings as they highlighted how the dog gazes at Amanda with "so much love". One individual commented: "How the dog looks at you we can see there is so much love."
Another concurred: "Your gorgeous collie looks at you with so much love." A third added their voice: "What a good dog."

This follows Amanda's devastating news from her farm last week, where she found that two of the pens had been vandalised.
Alongside the video, Amanda wrote: "Cross, cross, cross. This is not the normal kind of post I do. Not the kind of post that I want to do.
"I know that it will not make any difference whatsoever, but still I hope that someone, somewhere might feel a little uncomfortable or even ashamed.
"These places are invaluable, a part of our history and heritage, they do not formally belong to anyone but have been used by for centuries by shepherds, farmers and commoners. They are still in use to this day."

Regular social media users will be all too aware that it's impossible to scroll through TikTok or Instagram without being bombarded with videos about food. Videos by 'influencers' recommending restaurants, recipe ideas or showing off what they eat in a day can rack up millions of views within hours. Some even go further – to capitalise on social media algorithms that reward extreme or bizarre content – gorging on up to 5,000 calories in one sitting or seeking out 'the most calorific foods' they can find.

Danny Dyer says Bafta win was ‘very emotional moment after 35 years in the game'

The former EastEnders star, 48, won the male performance in a comedy award for his role playing Lee in the Sky Max series Mr Bigstuff. Dyer told the PA news agency: 'I would like to think that I could maybe inspire some people that feel that they don't stand a chance, being from a working class background, that you can, if you're committed and you have belief in yourself and ambition, that you can certainly be and do whatever you want to do, whatever you want to achieve in life. 'I think me maybe winning that Bafta was a moment of going, 'Oh, OK, you know what? Anyone can do it.' 'I'm not knocking what I've done, or my achievements or my hard work I've put in, but I do think that it's quite an elite thing, that Bafta thing. 'I think that to give me my flowers after 35 years in the game was a very emotional moment for me and I hope it's inspired a lot of other young kids coming through to just keep at it. Keep at it and never give up.' Speaking about a lack of working class people in the TV and film industry, Dyer said: 'I don't know why it's changed so much. It's a real shame. We need to do something about it.' Dyer also said 'there's room for another series' of Mr Bigstuff, which follows brothers Lee and Glen, played by Ryan Sampson, who are look for their estranged father in series two, after finding out he is alive. 'The character Lee is quite relevant at the moment, in the sense of, the whole masculinity thing, what's going on at the moment with men, and what's true masculinity and what's toxic masculinity,' said Dyer. He added: 'Lee is quite lovable, and he's got no filter, and he does stand up for what's right… it's a funny little layer to Lee.' A post shared by Deliveroo (@deliveroo) Dyer has had a busy past year or so, having starred in Disney+ series Rivals and as the protagonist in Nick Love's comedy-drama Marching Powder. Reflecting on life in the limelight, he said: 'It's really odd to think of what people's perceptions are of me. I don't know what that is. I think I represent different things to different people. 'I think, living in this world of social media, which is really quite destructive and not very nice, it doesn't breed happiness, and people commenting on stuff… I feel like places like Facebook, you might get a lot of hate, obviously Twatter or Twitter, or whatever the f*** it's called, just an awful place to go. 'Instagram's a bit kinder. Only really dabble with Instagram. So for me, there's reality, which is the real world, and then there's the online world, which I feel is a load of bollocks. 'I can walk the streets and no one will give me no f****** aggravation, I get nothing but love. If I was to just look at, say Twitter (now called X), then I would never leave my house.' Dyer is the new star of a Deliveroo advert in which he proclaims to be a 'tosser', asking viewers to join him in eating salads as well as vegetables and other fresh produce.

Josie Gibson admits new ITV show 'put family relationships under strain'

Josie Gibson has revealed that her new ITV show has 'strained' relationships in her family. The 40-year-old presenter has been filming Josie Gibson's Big Country Build, where she helps transforms her dilapidated Somerset property into an 'eco-house' that is 'off-grid as possible'. Roping in her loved ones – including her brothers Josh and Charlie, who are scrap metal traders, her cousin Tom, a builder, and a group of locals, the mother-of-one said it was certainly stressful. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Josie told hosts Ed Balls, 58, and Ranvir Singh, 47: 'My dream was to always build like an eco-house as off-grid as possible myself. 'I've roped the family in [to help]. They say like, 'Never work with family and animals,' and I've done just that. 'And to say my stress levels are up here.' Ranvir replied, saying: 'Why? Because of the money or because you've roped in your brothers and your cousins and all that to do the leg work?' Josie answered: 'I mean, they are great, they are amazing, but there is a lot of challenges, let's say.' Responding to Ranvir, who questioned whether 'it has put relationships under a strain', Josie then said: 'I would say so,' while laughing. She continued: 'I've had a lot of sleepless nights, and sometimes you get this great big dream, don't you? 'And you follow your dreams – you've got to follow your dreams, but you don't realise with those dreams, there could be quite a lot of hurdles.' In Josie's new home – which is on four acres of land – there will be an on-site gym, walk-in wardrobe and blacked-out windows. Also, viewers of the seven-part series will follow her as she looks to grow her own food and harness her own energy, in a bid to ensure her new home and the stunning landscape around her are protected and preserved. This comes after Josie revealed she was diagnosed with a disease she thought was normally only reserved for 16th-century kings. The 40-year-old said she was 'really embarrassed' by the illness, which was discovered during the filming of her new show on Channel 5, The 1970s Diet. As she investigated whether the 70s was a healthier decade to live in, she ended up having an unexpected scare of her own. More Trending The former Big Brother star said she had 'really high' levels of uric acid and pain in her toes, which doctors suspected was gout. Josie confessed: 'I thought only kings like Henry VIII and old men got gout,' Josie confessed.' According to the NHS, gout is a type of arthritis that causes sudden, severe joint pain. It can be treated with painkillers, while healthier lifestyle choices can prevent future attacks. View More » Josie Gibson's Big Country Build will be available to watch on ITV. Got a story?
