Odell Beckham Jr. sat on stage at Fanatics Fest in New York and entertained a fan's demand, which encouraged the veteran wide receiver to re-sign with the New York Giants.
With a smile, Beckham responded: "I got you."
Of course, that didn't lead to the Giants rushing to get a contract in front of the NFL wideout to sign, but it showed that Beckham would be open to reuniting with the franchise that helped him find early success in the NFL, following his successful run at LSU.
When Beckham posted to Instagram a couple of days later, he added fuel to the reunion hype.

"Mannn yo daddy did some Krazy [expletive] here," Beckham said via Instagram.
"We changed the game [and] inspired a generation who came behind us. We still got more to do... I'm loving every second I get [with you and] can't wait to see what [you] do in this world.... [your] turn twin."
Beckham's post was a dedicated message to the 32-year-old's son, but the fact that they are sitting on the ground staring at MetLife Stadium caused a stir amongst NFL fans.
A lot of time has passed since Beckham's playing days with the Giants. In 2014, Beckham played in 12 games as a rookie, exceeding 1,300 yards and scoring 12 touchdowns. Over the next two seasons, he crossed the 1,300-yard threshold and totaled 23 touchdowns.
The 2017 season was a quiet one for Beckham, who battled injuries. As a result, he appeared in just four games. When Beckham returned for 12 games the following year, he racked up another 1,052 yards and scored six touchdowns. His run with the Giants ended via trade. In 2019, Beckham joined the Cleveland Browns.
After a stellar first season in Cleveland, Beckham's physical setbacks started to pile up. As a result, his production took a hit. In 2020, he played in just seven games for the Browns. In 2021, he played in six games for Cleveland before they traded Beckham to the Los Angeles Rams.
Right as the Rams were reaching the finish line as NFL Champions, Beckham suffered a knee injury, which forced him to miss the entire 2022 season.
Single runs in Baltimore and Miami were quiet campaigns for the three-time Pro Bowler. At this point, Beckham is a free agent and potentially willing to get back out on the field sometime soon. Will it be with Russell Wilson's Giants? Only time will tell.

Barry Bonds statue 'is coming,' says Giants CEO Larry Baer: 'Barry is deserving of a statue'
The Hall of Fame isn't calling anytime soon. But it sounds like Barry Bonds will be immortalized in San Francisco. Giants CEO Larry Baer said Wednesday that the team does intend to erect a statue of the slugger, who smashed baseball's home run records as a Giant during the height of baseball's steroids era. Advertisement Baer broached the subject during an interview with San Francisco 95.7's "The Morning Roast." "On the radar, I would say on the radar," Baer said. "Barry is certainly deserving of a statue, and I would say should be next up. We don't have the exact location and the exact date and the exact timing." Baer went on to mention the "great relationships" that Bonds has with the Giants and more definitively declared that a Bonds statue will be built. "It's coming," Baer said. "All I can say is it's coming." As for when and where? And what it will look like? Baer didn't not expound. It sounds like an actual plan isn't in place. But the Giants boss is in support of it, so it sounds like a Bonds statue is coming. This image of Barry Bonds hitting career home run No. 756 could certainly provide some inspiration for a statue in San Francisco. (Paul Kitagaki Jr/Sacramento Bee/via Getty Images) (Sacramento Bee via Getty Images) If Bonds is, indeed, up next, his would be the fifth statue to be erected at Oracle Park. Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Juan Marichal, Gaylord Perry and Orlando Cepeda all have statues around San Francisco's home stadium. Advertisement If Bonds does get a statue, his honor will bear one glaring distinction from the other five. Each of the other Giants honored with a statue is in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Bonds, notably, is not. And he doesn't project to be inducted anytime soon, if ever. Bonds played 15 of his 22 MLB seasons with the Giants, a time in which he amassed 586 of his MLB record 762 home runs and launched a single-season record 73 home runs in 2001. Whether one chooses to acknowledge those records is in the eye of the beholder. Because of Bonds' association with the steroids era, many choose not to. But he hit them. And he made 12 of his 14 All-Star appearances and won five of his seven career MVPs with the Giants. Which is more than enough for the Giants to honor Bonds as they please.

Aaron Rodgers Opens Up About DK Metcalf Friendship
Aaron Rodgers Opens Up About DK Metcalf Friendship originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Aaron Rodgers made the quiet part of his one-year deal certain Tuesday during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. Rodgers revealed that this will be his final season and he will end his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Advertisement At this point with his legacy established Rodgers faces little pressure heading into 2025. Sure there is some expectation for him and the Steelers to show some fight in a loaded AFC, but the title aspirations are no longer present for the future Hall of Famer. So why not enjoy this final campaign? That does not mean taking his foot off the gas for the coming months, but it does point to Rodgers surrounding himself with teammates whom he shares some camaraderie. Surprisingly, he has found that in the span of just a few months in wide receiver DK Metcalf. The two spent a portion of the offseason working out together in California and caused Rodgers to gain a profound respect for his future teammate. "D.K. is a lead-by-example guy," Rodgers said on McAfee's show. "He's a big reason I'm in Pittsburgh as well. Conversations that we had, and just the kind of person that he is. At the start of the year, I didn't really know DK at all. Advertisement "He's like, 'I work out at six a.m. every day.' I'm like, okay, this guy has discipline, this guy has a drive..." Metcalf's engine not only helps him go individually but also drives the players around him to match that intensity. "He is a solid dude, and he leads by example. The way he practices. The room goes how the top dog goes, and when DK catches the ball and finishes 60 yards to the endzone, it makes everyone else want to do the same thing." Given Rodgers age and struggles in recent seasons there is plenty of skepticism of how this experiment will benefit the Steelers over the coming months. However, this fascinating Rodgers-Metcalf partnership provides some reason to believe this will work out in favor of Pittsburgh. Advertisement Rodgers has played with some extremely talented pass catchers throughout his career but none of them possess the same athletic package that Metcalf delivers week to week. Pittsburgh's success hinges on more than just this partnership filling the stat sheet, but a translation of the two's offseason collaboration onto the field will only benefit the Steelers' campaign.
