Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, the Ektaa Kapoor-backed drama show, has finally made its return to the small screen after a 25-year hiatus with a new reboot version. The new season premiered on July 29th, with Smriti Irani reprising her iconic role as Tulsi Virani and Amar Upadhyay returning as Mihir Virani.
In a conversation with ETimes, Amar Upadhyay opened up about his return to the show. 'It feels great to be back. I never expected the audience to be so delighted to see us on screen again, especially in today's world, or to still be waiting for us. We didn't expect such a positive reception when we first started filming because so much has changed, television has evolved, and new generations have entered the picture. But we are very pleased with the love we are receiving. We never imagined the show would return," he said.
