Cameras captured SGA classily seeking injured Tyrese Haliburton after Game 7
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander versus Tyrese Haliburton was one of the best NBA Finals point guard matchups in a long time. Both named to the All-NBA team, they're two of the very best players at their position and fierce competitors who would do anything to help their teams win.
That's why SGA couldn't help but feel for Haliburton after the Indiana Pacers guard put his body on the line for a chance to win a championship and tore his Achilles. Gilgeous-Alexander classily paid that respect to Haliburton by seeking him out in the visiting locker room after the Oklahoma City Thunder's victory.
Nobody would've blamed SGA for just wanting to celebrate, but it says a lot about him that he took the time to do this.

NBA Draft 2025: Round 1 live updates, picks, news as Cooper Flagg's new home becomes official
With the Oklahoma City Thunder crowned as the 2024-25 champions, it's time to look toward the future and the 2025 NBA Draft. Fifty-nine prospects will find new homes over the course of the next two days, and at the forefront of it all is presumed No. 1 overall pick, Duke forward Cooper Flagg. In one season with the Duke Blue Devils, Flagg averaged 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game, being named a Consensus All American while also earning the Wooden Award — given to the most outstanding college basketball players in the US — and being named Nasmith National Player of the Year, a top honor. Advertisement At 6-foot-8 and 221 pounds, the 18-year-old Flagg boasts a broad skillset, Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor notes: Flagg is a do-it-all forward who hustles like a madman, makes his teammates better as a passer, and has dialed in a knockdown jumper. He's both the best offensive and defensive prospect in this draft class, making him the safest No. 1 pick in ages. It's his growth as a shot creator that will decide if he reaches his All-Star floor or soars to his Hall of Fame ceiling. Flagg won't be the only prospect to watch in Round 1, however. Here's a look at the remaining top-10 players available based on O'Connor's top-60 NBA Draft Big Board: 2. Dylan Harper, G, Rutgers 3. Ace Bailey, F, Rutgers 4. VJ Edgecombe, G, Baylor 5. 2025 MLS All-Star roster: Messi, Agyemang, Lozano headline squad
Major League Soccer has revealed its 26-player roster for the 2025 MLS All-Star Game. The MLS All-Stars will face a team of Liga MX's best on July 23 at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. The MLS squad will be looking for some revenge after losing 4-1 to the Liga MX stars in last year's All-Star Game at Field in Columbus. The MLS stars will be led by Lionel Messi, who was named to his first All-Star team last year but couldn't participate in the match due to injury. The first-place Vancouver Whitecaps feature the most players on the MLS roster with four: Sebastian Berhalter, Tristan Blackmon, Yohei Takaoka, and Brian White. All four are making their All-Star Game debuts. Columbus Crew forward Diego Rossi has been selected to his fourth All-Star Game, the most of any player on the roster. LAFC forward Denis Bouanga, Philadelphia Union defender Jakob Glesnes, and FC Cincinnati defender Miles Robinson are next with three selections each. The players on the MLS roster were selected in three ways: 12 players were voted in by MLS fans, players, and media; 12 players were selected by MLS All-Star head coach Nico Estévez of host club Austin FC; and two players (Patrick Agyemang and Hirving Lozano) were picked by MLS commissioner Don Garber. Below is the full 2025 MLS All-Star roster, including the mechanism by which each player was named to the team. 2025 MLS All-Star roster Goalkeepers (3) Defenders (8) Midfielders (6) Forwards/Wingers (9)
