Along with the official announcement teaser, they also revealed that the film will premiere on JioHotstar on July 25, 2025. The highly anticipated teaser shows Prithviraj Sukumaran as a soldier, with Kajol portraying his wife in the film. Ibrahim Ali Khan is seen in an intense, deadly avatar, taking on the role of the antagonist, and setting the stage for a gripping face-off with Sukumaran's character. The film is helmed by Kayoze Irani, son of veteran actor Boman Irani.
Sarzameen, starring Kajol, Prithviraj and Ibrahim, is described as a hard-hitting drama about an army officer's relentless mission to combat terrorism in Kashmir. In an interview with Variety last year, Kajol spoke about Sarzameen, and working with Prithviraj and Ibrahim Ali Khan. 'I've worked with Prithviraj [Sukumaran] for the first time and he's absolutely wonderful to work with and so was Ibrahim [Ali Khan], so I think it's going to be quite interesting to see both of them on screen," she said.

As per the latest update on Sacnilk, the mythological horror thriller has collected close to ₹ 20 crore.
