She triumphed in the 18 to 30 years age group of the individual female Taekwondo recognised poomsae event, marking her third consecutive Australian Open victory over the last three years. In the first round, Bayor defeated Chinese Taipei, followed by a victory against Australia in the second round. She then overcame the USA in the quarter-finals but lost narrowly to Hong Kong in the semi-finals, securing the bronze medal. She hoped for a top podium finish this time and promised to win gold in the future.
