Ananya Panday took to Instagram to wish her Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star Bhumi Pednekar a very happy birthday. Sharing an unseen throwback picture of the duo, Ananya referred to Bhumi as a 'hottie" and sent her warmest wishes on her special day.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Ananya Panday shared an unseen photo with Bhumi Pendekar. 'Happy birthday hottie. We've come a long way," read the caption. Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in The Royals. The Netflix show revolves around an unconventional romance between Aviraaj Singh (Ishaan Khatter), a modern-day prince and Sophia Kanmani Shekhar (Bhumi Pednekar), the fierce and ambitious CEO of a luxury homestay startup.
The rom-com show also stars Zeenat Aman, Chunky Panday, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Sakshi Tanwar, Milind Soman, Vihaan Samat, Kavya Trehan, Udit Arora, Lisa Mishra, Sumukhi Suresh and Luke Kenny among others in the key roles. It is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
The Royals marked a significant departure for Bhumi from her previous roles. In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, she reflected on her experience of working on the show. 'It was nothing like what I had done in the past. It was one of the first times that I got to experiment with my wardrobe. Some people cared about the way I was looking on screen. That has never happened," said Bhumi.
Looking ahead, Bhumi Pednekar will next be seen in the web series Daldal. The show, which will be released on Prime Video, portrays Bhumi in the role of a police officer. The filming of the series was wrapped a few months back, but the release date is yet to be announced.
Ananya Panday recently treated fans to a sneak peek behind the scenes of her upcoming rom-com, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, sharing glamorous 'bits and pieces" from the film's set. The film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, is slated for a theatrical release on February 13, 2026—just in time for Valentine's Day.
