Denzel Washington erupts after photographer appears to grab him on Cannes red carpet
Denzel Washington had a heated encounter with a photographer on the Cannes Film Festival's red carpet, according to video obtained by Fox News Digital.
On Monday, Washington approached the photographers at the premiere of Spike Lee's "Highest 2 Lowest," which he also stars in.
On the Cannes Film Festival's carpet, Washington was speaking to Lee — with A$AP Rocky approaching them — when a photographer appeared to grab him to get his attention, according to Page Six.
The move by the photographer seemed to enrage the Oscar winner. In the video, Washington can be seen putting his finger in the photographer's face.

In the video, Washington can be seen yelling "stop" as he approached the man. The photographers can be seen laughing at Washington's remarks and when he went to walk away from the wall of photographers, the man seemingly grabbed the actor by the arm.
This sent Washington into a frenzy.
"Stop it!" Washington shouted. "Stop!"
Fox News Digital has reached out to Washington's representative for comment.
Washington was surprised with an honorary Palme d'Or honor after his altercation with the photographer. Before his latest movie premiered, festival chief Thierry Frémaux shared some kind words with the crowd about Washington.

"It's a very special day. Denzel, because you are here, we want to make something special for you. … It's a kind of way for us to tell you our adoration, what you have done in cinema. Nobody knows about that except Spike Lee, who wrote me to do that," Frémaux said, per Deadline.
Lee approached the stage to present the award to Washington.
"This is my brother right here. I love him, I love him. I'm glad you're here where all the people love you too," Lee said to the star, according to the outlet.

Washington said to the crowd: "This is a total surprise for me, so I'm a little emotional, but from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all. It was a great opportunity to collaborate with my brother once again — brother from another mother, Spike."
"To be here once again in Cannes, you know, we're a very privileged group in this room that we get to make movies and wear tuxedos and nice clothes and dress up and get paid for it as well," Washington continued. "You know, we're just blessed beyond measure, I'm blessed beyond measure, and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all. TikTok influencer targeted with criticism after viral video about 'unchic' fashion choices sparks backlash
Lifestyle influencer Tara Langdale talked to Fox News Digital about how she received hurtful messages from critics after a not-so-serious fashion post describing what she views as "unchic" went viral, spawning a cascade of events that made her apolitical post a victim of attacks. The self-described stay-at-home working mom amassed some 250,000 views and found herself on the receiving end of some hate after an April 7 TikTok of her seated, drinking from a wine glass with nicely done hair, gold jewelry and manicured nails as she skimmed through a list of "unchic" fashion sins. Tattoos, Lululemon, baggy denim, camouflage and visible panty lines were just a few that made part one of Langdale's controversial "unchic" list, which drew backlash from seething critics who called her out with a political twist. Though Langdale diddles cribe herself as conservative when speaking to Fox News Digital, she insists not everything is about politics. "When I get dressed in the morning, I'm not thinking about my political party and how I should dress to showcase that," Langdale said. "I think conservativism is more of culture, religion – all of those things go into your conservativist mindset. Now, if you're talking about conservative style of dress… that's also going to be more like religion and culture," she went on. "Of course, if I'm going to church on Sunday, I'm dressing very conservative. I'm going to keep it classy, but if you see me in the street in my regular day-to-day, I am not at all conservative. I would never consider my style to be conservative. But am I conservative? Absolutely, so I can differentiate the two. I know that the internet has a hard time doing that." There's never a shortage of drama on Broadway. However, this Tony season has taken things to a whole new level. And with records for both ticket prices and box-office grosses having been broken this year, there's more at stake than ever for Sunday's ceremony, which will be held at Radio City and air live on CBS starting at 8 p.m., as well as stream on Paramount+ and Showtime. Some huge-name stars (hello, Denzel Washington) are said to be hurting from snubs,. while others who are nominated — sorry, George Clooney — already know they won't win. 19 Three-time Tony winner Patti LuPone isn't even nominated for a Tony this year, but she's starred in some blockbuster drama, causing such a stir that 500 Broadway artists signed an open letter condemning her words. FilmMagic But even if you are an A-list Hollywood actor, 'Just because you're on stage does not entitle you to a Tony nomination. The disappointment quotient is higher [this year] and it makes it more interesting,' one Tonys insider told The Post. But we're told the actor will host a Tonys after-party at Pebble Bar to celebrate his former 'Succession' co-star Sarah Snook, who is said to have a strong shot at winning Best Actress in a Play for portraying 26 characters in 'The Picture of Dorian Gray.' 19 Another surprise snub was Kieran Culkin for his role in the revival of 'Glengarry Glen Ross.' 'It's been a fun season but also a grueling season,' the Tonys insider said. 'Everyone will be in the mood to party.'
