YouTube star killed in Las Vegas strip shooting broadcast on live stream
YouTuber Finny Da Legend has died after being shot near an iconic hotel in Las Vegas. The YouTube star was killed alongside another person, believed to be Finny's partner, near the Bellagio hotel and casino on the Las Vegas strip on Sunday night.
Finny had more than 3000 subscribers on YouTube and was actually streaming live when it happened. A man, another content creator, came up to him. Footage shared online showed that at least seven shots were fired.
It is believed that alongside Finny, his partner was killed too, as reported by KVVU-TV. In the harrowing footage, Finny's partner could be heard screaming. They said: "Are you f**king kidding me?" and the camera was then thrown to the ground.
Police had said that the shooter and one of the victims had argued on social media. Manuel Ruiz, 41, turned himself into police hours later, with the cops issuing a statement: "At this point, we believe we have the suspect identified and that this is an isolated incident, knowing that the suspect and the victim had previously engaged in some type of conflict using a variety of social media platforms."

Disney+ drops to £1.99 in rare deal Netflix and Amazon can't beat
Disney Plus has brought back a mega monthly deal that shaves 60% off its usual price and makes it the cheapest streamer compared to Netflix, Prime Video and Apple TV+ Disney+ is offering a subscription for £1.99 with the return of a hugely popular streaming deal. The streamer from the House of Mouse has just kicked off a 'limited-time promotion' that saves 60% compared to the usual price. It allows both new and returning customers to subscribe to Disney+ Standard with Ads for £1.99 per month for four months. This would usually cost a total of £19.96 but is now up for grabs for £7.96 – a £12 discount. However, the deal won't be around for long and is due to expire on June 30. After the four-month promotional period, Disney+ Standard with Ads will automatically renew at the then-current monthly retail price until cancelled. The deal makes Disney+ the most affordable major streamer compared to the cheapest subscription tiers of Netflix (£5.99), Amazon's Prime Video (£5.99) and Apple TV+ (£8.99). It comes ahead of a packed summer slate of new and returning films and series, led by Disney blockbuster Snow White, streaming now. Also on the way this summer are Marvel's Ironheart (June 25), season four of The Bear (June 26) and new prequel series Alien: Earth (August 13). They're set to join an ever-growing library featuring recent hits and critically acclaimed series, Andor, Welcome to Wrexham, Rivals, Only Murders in the Building and Shōgun. The £1.99 deal also provides access to the Stolen Girl, Good American Family and season two of the beloved reality series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. For those put off by the prospect of adverts interrupting their viewing, the Disney+ plan plays on average less than four minutes of ads per hour of TV, which is less than on terrestrial TV. What's more, adverts will only play before a film starts and not during. Aside from the deal, Disney+ also offers the equivalent of two months free to those paying for a year upfront on the Standard or Premium plan. Opting for an annual plan provides 12 months access for the price of 10 and saves up to £25.98, as well as higher video quality up to 4K UHD and HDR and the ability to stream on four devices simultaneously. Of the many positive reviews left by Disney+ members on Trustpilot, one says: 'Offering a fantastic and constantly updated collection.' Another says: 'I love Disney+. I'm a Star Wars and Marvel fan but since the addition of Starz it boosted my love, there's even more content for adults now that's worth it all round. However, the same user added: 'Only reason it didn't get five stars is Disney are not using their other brands in the subscription. If they did this could easily be the best subscription service ever but there is much more content locked behind their own service.' However, another five-star review says: 'Good servers, good services, this nostalgia when watching old cartoons from TV. The subscription is really cheap compared to other streaming services.'

Freeview successor is coming to Roku TVs with premium perks to rival Sky
Jamie Harris, Assistant Technology and Science Editor Published: Invalid Date, FREEVIEW'S successor will appear on even more screens after landing a deal with one of the world's biggest TV brands. Freely, made from the same company as Freeview, is encouraging viewers away from the humble TV aerial to using Wi-Fi instead. 2 This means you don't need to worry about pesky signal issues - nor having to place your telly near the aerial port in the wall. For the moment, the service is hybrid so it can take Freeview channels the traditional way as well as via broadband. Just recently, more than a dozen channels you can't get with an aerial were added. This includes a channel for game show favourite The Chase, all Channel 4's best property shows on 4Homes, plus 5 Cops for all ofmi 5 's real crime hits. Freely - which is run by BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5's Everyone TV - has been adding a number of device partners since bursting onto the scene over a year ago. Fire TV was a big newcomer but now Roku is getting on board too. Freely will be available on the next generation of smart TVs powered by the Roku operating system. Roku can be found on a number of major TV models, such as Sharp, Polaroid, and METZ. "Offering Freely on the Roku operating system is a major milestone for us, as we continue to expand reach for the free streaming platform," said Jonathan Thompson, CEO of Everyone TV. Just last month, Freely announced some new features to rival premium services like Sky's own streamed TV alternative Sky Glass. A new backward TV guide was introduced, allowing people to scroll back on the screen and instantly see what's been on recently, with a quick link directly to a catch up stream if one is available. You can scroll back a full seven days. A Never Miss feature was also added, which highlight programmes coming up, on now, and those you just missed, alongside the biggest and best shows available on demand. And My List will let you save up to 50 of your favourite shows from the UK's biggest free-to-air broadcasters all in one place so you can keep track of them. FREELY ON A STICK? So far, Freely has only been made available on new smart TVs for sale. But BBC boss Tim Davie recently hinted that a Fire Stick-like device with Freely on it could come in the future. 'We have been working hard to build digital platforms and content to meet changing audience needs, enriching our offer and welcoming the possibilities of a post broadcast world,' he said during a speech at Salford's Lowry Theatre. 'We want to double down on Freely as a universal free service to deliver live TV over broadband. 'And we are considering a streaming media device with Freely capabilities built in, with a radically simplified user interface specifically designed to help those yet to benefit from IP services.' WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE WE REPLACE FREEVIEW Analysis by Jamie Harris, Assistant Technology and Science Editor at The Sun DTT - digital terrestrial television - is the system used for Freeview broadcasts today. About 18million homes still use it as their main way of watching TV. Before we even begin to think about switching it off, we have to make sure no one is left behind. So any internet-based alternative - Freely or otherwise - needs to be just as easy to install and use. Then there's the matter of broadband. The UK needs to have reliable broadband everywhere so everyone has access. Emphasis on reliable - no one wants buffering mid-way through a live football match. So not only will broadband need to be pretty much everywhere it will need to be fast enough to handle demand all the time. 2

The reality TV star, 26, tried her luck at love on season nine of the hit ITV2 dating show, where she coupled up with Casey O'Gorman. Since leaving the show, Rosie has had a tough time with the death of her dad. Fans have continued to support Rosie and wish her the best in her life away from Love Island. It promoted one follower to probe into her love life and ask if she is single. Rosie decided it was the right time to reveal she is now happily loved up as she replied: "No I'm not," alongside a red love heart emoji. The TV star even shared a snap of her new man, whose identity she has chosen to keep private. In the sweet snap, the pair looked out to sea while on a white sandy beach as Rosie lovingly looked up to her tall dark haired boyfriend. Rosie's happiness comes after she suffered the heartbreaking loss of her dad in July last year. Sharing the devastating news, she wrote: "I don't think I'll ever come to understand why this has happened, words cannot even begin to express the pain I feel, the sadness feels endless knowing there is a piece of me missing that nothing will be able to fill. "Though we may be apart, you will always be in my heart, and I will hold onto and cherish our memories forever. I love you forever. Daddy's little girl always." During her time on Love Island, Rosie struck up a connection with Casey, but the couple were dumped just a week before the grand final. When they left the villa, Rosie made explosive claims about Casey as she claimed he had ignored her when they returned home. In a YouTube video, she shared: "We were both with friends and family. That's fine but for me, I think I did reach out and I didn't really hear anything back and I felt there was not any effort made. "I think the doubts that I had in the villa became very apparent when we left Love Island and I feel it just confirmed what I was thinking." Casey revealed that he and Rosie had split soon after the reunion show. In an Instagram Q&A with his fans, Casey explained: "Rosie and I have spoken... she's such a great girl. Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward." The news didn't come as a surprise to fans, however, as they were convinced that the couple had split when Casey had taken to social media due to a string of clues. Both Casey and Rosie posted on socials about the reunion episode but failed to share an image alongside one another, or even mention each other. It didn't go unnoticed when Casey went on to like and comment on Samie Elishi's post, with one taking to Rosie's post and commenting: "Casey liked and commented under Samie's pic already but nothing for yours?" "Casey isn't serious about you," said a second.
