The Honeymoon in Mexico Edit With Egyptian Stylist Farida Hammouda
This is how to keep it chic and cool on your coastal honeymoon.
Egyptian stylist Farida Hammouda is used to juggling. One week she's wrangling archival gowns alongside Yasmine Kenawi for some of Egypt's hottest celebrities (Rakeen Saad and Jamila Awad, to name a few); the next, she's helping pull last-minute looks for campaigns with Harry Vartan, Be-Indie, and Ramla - all while directing the infamous 'moodboard'. But lately, Hammouda's biggest styling gig isn't a fashion film or red carpet - it's her own bridal era.
And no, we're not talking a single Pinterest board and a satin shoe. We're talking bachelorette, engagement parties, post-engagement dinners, post-post-engagement beach days. It's a multi-chapter event saga where the dress code is 'main character only'. Somewhere between fittings and farewell brunches, Hammouda - a graduate of Istituto Marangoni, by the way - has traded in styling others' visions for styling her own wardrobe survival.
Now, she's curated the shoreside honeymoon edit for brides who've spent twelve months meeting deadlines just to earn their right to tan in peace. Think sun, salt, and fits that do not scream 'just married' - unless that marriage is to good taste.
A Day at Tantra Beach Club
'On my honeymoon I really want to prioritize my wellbeing - work for once can take a back seat. Wearing sets are always my go-tos on vacation. The effort is minimal and lets me get on with the day, especially if there's a pattern involved.'

SELECTS: From Day to Dusk, Model Amy Shaban Keeps It Easy Breezy
Whether she's styling shoots or starring in them, Shaban thrives in the space between roles, moods, and silhouettes. Amenah Shaban is the kind of person who makes fashion look effortless— because for her, it is. The 25-year-old Jordanian model and stylist, better known as Amy Shaban, has been living and breathing fashion since her childhood runway shows (read: in the living room, for her family), and she's since turned that early flair into a full-blown career. After finishing university in Barcelona, Shaban returned to Amman and gave the 9-to-5 life a shot— but it didn't take long for her to realize it wasn't her thing. The structure felt limiting, and her creative instincts were pulling her elsewhere. 'If I had to describe my style, I'd say it's bold, versatile, and never boxed into one category,' she shares— and the same goes for her career path. From campaigns with Mango, Karen Millen, and Obagi to even launching her own agency, she's done the rounds— in front of the camera and behind the scenes. 'I've always loved how fashion can shape the way you feel,' she says. Shaban's style is more so about instinct rather than rules. 'My style shifts depending on my mood. Some days I want to be loud, other days I want to be minimal, but I always want to feel put together.' Whether she's pulling a look together as a stylist or posing in front of the camera, Shaaban's fashion instincts are crystal clear—and her favourite labels reflect just that. 'Some of my favorite brands are Bottega Veneta, Jacquemus, COS, The Row, PatBO, Oceanus, Annie's Ibiza—and emerging designers who really focus on detail and quality,' she says. 'I love brands that balance simplicity with something unique, whether it's the cut, the fabric, or the way a piece fits.' She's styled for names across the region (and worn just as many), but our Selects for this week? All about ease, polish, and a little play— exactly what you'd expect from someone who's built her career on trusting her gut and knowing when a look just clicks. Look One | Sunsets, Sparkle & Summer Nights Gold fringe, sun-kissed skin, and a Bottega bag that deserves its own boarding pass— this look is made for balmy vacation nights and flirty summer strolls. "What I love about styling is how a small change like the right accessory or the way something fits can transform an entire look,' she reveals. PatBo | Metallic Fringe Bralette Massimo Dutti | Limited Edition Asymmetric Linen Cape Hermès | Oran Sandal Bottega Veneta | Bang Bang Sapele Bag Missoma | Lucy Williams Chunky Entwine Ring Missoma | Hera Oversized Dome Ridge Stud Earrings Romy London | 'KNOTing else' Knot Ring in Yellow Gold Alighieri | The Infernal Storm Ring Alighieri | The Bones of Rebirth Cuff Dior | Oud Ispahan Look Two | Finally, Sun's Out "I'm not scared to mix it up,' Shaban says. 'One day I'm in colour, the next it's all black. That's the fun part of fashion for me." Bondi Born | Linen Top Oséree | Lumière Plumage Pants Gucci | Multicolour GG Canvas Princetown Horsebit Tian Print Mules Jacquemus | La Pochette Rond Carré Leather Clutch Lexxola | Lexxola Jordy Sunglasses Look Three | Dinner Party for Two "I love pieces that feel effortless but still make a statement, that's when you know it's good styling,' she shares with SceneStyled. Saint Laurent | Monogram Leather Wallet on Chain Miu Miu | 55mm Buckle-Embellished Pumps PrettyLittleThing | Black Blazer Dress & Lace Pants Paola Vilas | Louise Choker Paola Vilas | Lynch Earrings Maison Francis Kurkdjian | Baccarat Rouge 540 Look Four | On the Run "At the end of the day, it's not about following trends, it's about what feels right on you and how you carry it."
