Miguel Tanfelix gets mixed emotions as 'Mga Batang Riles' nears end
Miguel Tanfelix can't help but get mixed emotions as "Mga Batang Riles" is coming to an end.
In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Monday, Miguel said that he grew to love his character Kidlat in the series.
"Sobrang minahal ko talaga 'yung character ni Kidlat eh. 'Yung mga challenges na kinakaharap at kinaharap niya sa buhay, talagang masakit sa puso eh. Talagang gusto mong damahin talaga bawat eksena," Miguel said.
In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness the return of Kidlat and his friends—Sig (Raheel Bhyria), Kulot (Kokoy De Santos), and Dagul (Anton Vinzon)—as the bantay-riles, working to maintain peace and order in their town while Matos (Bruce Roeland) remains at large.
For Miguel, even though the series is nearing its end, it reignited his adrenaline and passion for performing action scenes.
"Nag-enjoy ako ng sobra dito sa 'Mga Batang Riles.' At the same time, feeling ko nasa surface level pa lang ako ng genre na action kaya gusto ko pa palalimin," he said.
"Mga Batang Riles" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8:50 p.m. after "Lolong." —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Bianca De Vera, AZ Martinez, Shuvee Etrata get emotional after nominations from close friends
The housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" wrestled with feelings of hurt and guilt after the first face-to-face nominations of the season. On Tuesday's episode, Bianca De Vera told her duo Dustin Yu that she expected the nominations from the other housemates, but not from her close friend Mika Salamanca. "Kaya kong lumaban para sa kanya, kaya ko siyang protektahan hanggang sa makakaya ko. It hurts to see we're not on the same page," she said. Mika and her duo, Brent Manalo, tried to talk to Bianca but she avoided them. When they tried again, she said she needed time. Bianca and Mika later spoke and hugged it out. AZ Martinez also opened up to her duo, River Joseph. She said the nominations from Dustin, Ralph De Leon, and Will Ashley were something that she did not see coming. Will later talked to her and told her to blame him for the nomination, instead of his duo and her close friend, Ralph. Ralph, meanwhile, felt guilty for breaking AZ's trust as her confidant inside the house. Meanwhile, AZ's close friend, Shuvee Etrata, also got emotional after she and Klarisse De Guzman were nominated by AZ and River over her previous violation of talking about the outside world. She and AZ later got to sit down and hash it out together. Shuvee admitted that she was hurt over AZ's nomination, as she was already punished for the violation. AZ said she does not know how to explain it, but she said she did not want to hurt Shuvee and lose their friendship. DusBi (Dustin and Bianca), AzVer (AZ and River), and ShuKla (Shuvee and Klarisse) were the three nominated duos this week. Dustin and Bianca received 13 nomination points, while AZ and River got seven points. Shuvee and Klarisse got three points. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" airs new episodes on GMA Network weeknights at 10:05 p.m. and Saturdays at 6:15 p.m. —MGP, GMA Integrated News

CJ Opiaza, Krishnah Gravidez grateful for Filipinos' support after Miss Grand, Miss World achievements
CJ Opiaza and Krishnah Gravidez are overflowing with gratitude for the love and support they have been receiving from their fellow Filipinos. According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, CJ and Krishnah had back-to-back media conferences after returning from Thailand and India. "My heart is screaming for joy, and I'm just so blessed. I'm just so blessed and really, really grateful and happy that we have our first golden crown," CJ said. CJ was officially crowned as Miss Grand International 2024 last week in Bangkok, Thailand. She made history as the first Filipina beauty queen to receive the golden crown. "Hindi ko talaga in-expect na maraming Pinoy na makakarating although I know that there's a lot of Filipinos in Thailand. But also it was so sudden. I know people have prior commitments, prior schedules, but then everybody adjusted. The people just made sure that they'll be there. They messaged me, they want to be in that very historic moment," CJ said. Meanwhile, Krishnah said that she is super happy to be back home after being named Miss World Asia at the pageant held in India. "Of course, with this title, I hope that I made the whole country proud, but I was just really enjoying every moment in India. And to be back home here, seeing all the support and the love of the Filipinos just makes my heart melt," she said. Krishnah flew to India in early May for the pre-coronation night activities. "Even before I stepped into India, nag-reach out na talaga sila and they were expressing their support. And when I arrived there, ang daming Filipino community. Ando'n sila with the big banner, tarpaulin, they were very warm. So when I arrived there, I didn't feel like I was away from home," she said. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
