Brunei club sign Syafiq Ahmad
The 29-year-old Johor Darul Ta'zim forward, who was loaned to Kedah last season, was called up to the national team twice during the year.
"Syafiq has decided to join DPMM for the upcoming M-League season," the club confirmed in a statement.
DPMM have earlier recruited Brazilian midfielder Kaio Santos da Silva, North Macedonian goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski, Icelandic defender Damir Muminovic, Indonesian hotshot Ramadhan Sananta, Philippines international defender Amani Aguinaldo and left-back Tommy Mawat from Perak.

"We need to keep the momentum rolling forward and make sure we enter the summer break on a high." In keeping with what has been a chaotic year for the two Red Bull-owned outfits on the grid, Lawson was working under his third team boss of the season at Spa-Francorchamps. The sacking two weeks ago of Christian Horner, who had handed Lawson the Red Bull seat only to take it away, meant a promotion for Racing Bulls' team principal Laurent Mekies. Racing director Alan Permane, who has stepped into the breach as team principal at the junior team, could not have been happier with the way Lawson performed. "Liam had a near-perfect race, he managed his tyres exceptionally well, both on the intermediates and on the dry tyre," he said. Red Giants battle Asia Warriors to stalemate
PETALING JAYA: Selangor drew 0-0 against the Asia Warriors, led by Japanese legend, Keisuke Honda, in a friendly match at MBPJ Stadium today. The match also served as the unveiling of Selangor's 2025-2026 M-League squad. Among the fresh faces in the Red Giants' lineup were Willian Lira, Moses Raj, Picha Autra, Chrigor Moraes and Zach Clough. In the ninth minute, Selangor captain Faisal Halim nearly created a goal with a pinpoint cross to Lira who forced a save from Asia Warriors' veteran goalkeeper Made Wirawan. The 44-year-old Wirawan suffered a knee injury in the 12th minute, and was replaced by Yoo Jaehoon. Selangor's best chance came in the 55th minute when Sharul Nazeem Zulpakar, who replaced Harith Haiqal Adam Afkar at halftime, spun and unleashed a low shot, only to be denied by Yoo. Asia Warriors suffered another blow late in the game when Daisuke Sato was stretchered off in the 78th minute.
