The 40-year-old was playing on the Golf de Saint Donat, a course near Cannes in the south east of France.
As it turns out, the Frenchman also plays for the Havre footgolf club (HAC), following a two-year loan spell away from Liverpool with the team from 2001 to 2003 after joining their academy aged 11.
His first story saw the attacker blasting the ball towards the hole.
But a later story showed him pulling off an amazing shot for his 107,000 followers.
Sinama Pongolle was seen standing in the shade under a tree with the ball on the floor and the hole a decent distance away up a slope.
However, he managed to perfectly direct his shot and consider the bounce of the ball as he side-footed it up towards the hole.
The ball then veered to the left as it rolled along the uneven terrain before dropping into the hole.
Sinama Pongolle was all smiles as he fist pumped into the air in celebration.

Another angle of the video showed the pinpoint accuracy of his attempt as it rolled towards the hole and was caught up in the rougher grass area around the footgolf hole before sinking in.
Sinama Pongolle made 65 appearances for Liverpool during his time at the club, but was never a mainstay.
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe gives update on Alexander Isak's Liverpool transfer
His Liverpool debut came in the Uefa Cup against NK Olimpija Ljubljana in October 2003 before scoring his first-ever Premier League goal against Leeds.
But his biggest contribution in a Reds shirt came during the 2005 Champions League campaign.
Coming off the bench, Sinama Pongolle scored the equaliser against Olympiacos to help Liverpool achieve a 3-1 win that secured the club's passage into the last 16.
However, during a League Cup tie against Watford in January, he picked up a season-ending knee injury.
This meant he played no further part in the season, including the Champions League final.
He would go on to have spells with the likes of Recreativo, Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Chicago Fire before hanging up his boots in 2019 after a short spell with his hometown club, Saint-Pierroise.

Liverpool confirm transfer exit with clever clause to boost Alexander Isak hopes
Liverpool's busy summer continued on Tuesday evening with the Reds announcing their latest departure less than a fortnight before their first game of the new league season Tyler Morton has completed a £15m move to Lyon from Liverpool. The England U21 international departs the Reds having come through the academy at the club. Morton, 22, has been angling for a move away this summer in search of first-team football having had two successful loan spells at Blackburn Rovers and Hull in recent seasons. The Reds have allowed him to leave due to the amount of senior options available with Alexis Mac Allistter, Wataru Endo, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboslai blocking his path. They also have other young stars in James McConnell and Luca Stephenson while teenager Trey Nyoni has impressed in pre-season games and is now pushing to be considered a full-time member of the first team. Stefan Bajcetic has also returned from a loan spell away at RB Salzburg and Las Palmas with the Spaniard considered ahead of Morton in the pecking order. Liverpool have a 20 per cent sell-on clause in the deal to sell to the Ligue 1 club with the deal rising to £15m if add-ons are triggered. The fee itself, meanwhile, helps increase the Reds' funds for further transfers. Summer target Alexander Isak remains a Newcastle player for now, with Liverpool seeing a bid knocked back. They could yet come back in for the striker if Newcastle land Benjamin Sesko, though, with the RB Leipzig man expected to make a decision on his future this week. Morton's Liverpool exit comes off the back of success with England's Under-21 side at the European Championships in June. He played in all but one of the Young Lions' matches, setting up Jonathan Rowe's extra-time winner in the final. He barely featured under Arne Slot last season, though, with shoulder surgery limiting his opportunities. The midfielder got a run-out against PSV Eindhoven in Europe and played several domestic cup games, but didn't earn any Premier League minutes. Lyon have had a busy summer, but more players have gone out than come in. Two of those departing players have moved to the Premier League, with playmaker Rayan Cherki joining Manchester City in June and goalkeeper Lucas Perri making a more recent switch to Leeds United. Liverpool, by contrast, have spent more than £200m since winning the Premier League in May. Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike joined in big-money moves, with full-backs Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong also completing Anfield switches. The Reds have also cashed in on a number of first-teamers, with the total sum recouped climbing up above £100m even before Morton's exit. The bulk of that came from Luis Diaz's move to Bayern Munich, while others to depart include Trent Alexander-Arnold and Caoimhin Kelleher. Arne Slot's champions will kick off their Premier League campaign at home to Bournemouth, with the match taking place on August 15. Lyon's Ligue 1 campaign kicks off the same weekend with the club travelling to Lens for their opening fixture. Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. John Stones warns Man City have ‘fire in our bellies' after disappointing season
City surrendered the crown they won in the previous four seasons to Liverpool during an underwhelming 2024-25 campaign. Defender Stones believes lessons have been learned and has detected a strong desire to put things right since the players have reported for pre-season training. To me, to you 💫🥶 — Manchester City (@ManCity) August 5, 2025 The England international said: 'It was humbling for us after all the success that we've had. 'It makes us realise what we've done, what we've achieved over the years and how proud we should be, but we're obviously frustrated at what we did last season. It's not what we want to replicate. 'To finish third, three or four points behind Arsenal is – to our standards – not good, (nor) how we played through the season. 'We've got to put that right and get back to our identity, get back to winning matches and having that presence about us and believing in ourselves as a team. 'I'm sure we'll find that and bring it back because it was tough last season to go through what we did. We've definitely come back with that fire in our bellies to go and achieve.' John Stones admits Manchester City are hurting after last season (Mike Egerton/PA) Stones is now fit after an injury-hit past season but was not risked by manager Pep Guardiola during the Club World Cup in the summer. Despite not featuring, the 31-year-old made emphatically clear when speaking to media during that tournament that he would not be leaving the club. Entering the final year of his contract, there had been speculation about his future but the former Everton player hopes that has now been shut down. He said: 'It's laughable to me. I understand why people do it but there's nothing to comment on. 'I love it here, nothing's happening. I'm here to fight and play and hopefully win some trophies.' Stones was speaking as City held an open training session alongside the club's women's side at the Joie Stadium on the fringe of their training complex on Tuesday. City now have a friendly at Palermo on Saturday before facing Wolves in their opening Premier League game at Molineux on August 16. The side is taking on a different shape with new signings Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Tijjani Reijnders having been integrated during the Club World Cup, in which City reached the last 16. Their arrivals continued a squad refresh after the signings of Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis in January. Stones said: 'Things evolve, football evolves, and the guys that have come in have been great. 'It takes a bit of time, obviously, to get used to the style of play, what's expected, but the guys have come in for a reason. 'With the quality that they've got, the aspects of the game are different from what we've had in the past. I'm excited to play with them and see what they do.'
