The Kardashians Season 7: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far
Alright, let's talk about The Kardashians —because who isn't obsessed with this family's rollercoaster of a life? Season 6 just wrapped on Hulu in April 2025, and fans are already itching for Season 7. No official trailer or premiere date has dropped yet, but between the family's cryptic Instagram stories and the internet's endless theories, there's plenty to chew on. So, grab a coffee (or one of Kylie's Sprinter drinks), and let's dive into everything we know about The Kardashians Season 7—release date guesses, cast vibes, and what drama might unfold. The Kardashians Season 7 Potential Release Date
Hulu's been churning out The Kardashians like clockwork, usually dropping seasons in spring or fall. Season 6 kicked off in February 2025, and since Hulu greenlit 20 more episodes back in July 2024 (with 10 used for Season 6), Season 7's probably not far off. If we're playing the guessing game based on their usual rhythm, we'd bet on September or October 2025 for the premiere. That tracks with how they film—Season 6 covered late 2024 stuff, so Season 7 should pick up early 2025 moments. No official word yet, but keep your eyes peeled on Kris's Instagram or Hulu's X account for the big reveal. The Kardashians Season 7 Expected Cast
You know the drill—the Kardashian-Jenner crew is the heart of the show, and Season 7 won't shake things up too much. Here's who we expect to see strutting their stuff: Kris Jenner : The ultimate momager, probably juggling a million projects and keeping the family in line.
Kim Kardashian : Queen of SKIMS, maybe acting in her new Hulu legal drama, and dropping hints about a new boo.
Khloé Kardashian : Mom to True and Tatum, launching her Khloud Foods popcorn line, and maybe— maybe —dating again.
Kourtney Kardashian : Living her best life with Travis Barker, focusing on Poosh and her blended family.
Kendall Jenner : Serving looks as a model and pushing her 818 Tequila brand.
Kylie Jenner: Running her cosmetics empire and probably posting cute dog videos with Kendall.
Then there's the supporting cast—Travis Barker's bound to pop up, maybe Scott Disick for some co-parenting drama, and North West stealing scenes like always. Fans are buzzing about Kim's rumored fling with photographer Mert Alas (spotted at a SKIMS event in April 2025—hello, tea!). Oh, and don't sleep on possible cameos—Dolly Parton linked up with Khloé's Good American, so maybe she'll swing by. Plus, with that Calabasas Behind the Gates spinoff in the works, we might see some of their fancy Calabasas pals. The Kardashians Season 7 Potential Plot
The Kardashians is all about mixing glitz, family chaos, and those raw, real moments that hit you in the feels. Season 6 left us with Kim's 44th birthday bash and some juicy hints about her love life, so Season 7's got big shoes to fill. Here's what might go down: Kim's Mystery Man
Kim was not subtle in Season 6, teasing a new romance with lines like, 'I swore I'd stay single, but psych!' The internet's losing it over Mert Alas, thanks to a cozy pic from a SKIMS event. Will Season 7 spill the beans on her love life, or keep us guessing? Either way, expect some flirty drama. Khloé's Glow-Up
Khloé's been loving her single-mom era, but on her podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land , she hinted she's open to dating. Could Season 7 show her swiping right or going on a hot date? Plus, she's got her Khloud Foods protein popcorn dropping at Sprouts, and her new Hulu show about Calabasas' elite is cooking. Oh, and expect cute moments with True and Tatum—they're growing up fast! Kourtney and Travis' Love Bubble
Kourtney's all about her family with Travis, and their son Rocky's first birthday at Disneyland (November 2024) was adorable. She's super private about him, so we might not see much, but her Poosh wellness vibes and maybe a 5K for Travis' Run Travis Run could make the cut. Kendall and Kylie Stealing the Show
Fans were bummed Kendall and Kylie didn't get enough screen time in Season 6. Here's hoping Season 7 gives us more of Kendall's modeling gigs and 818 Tequila hustle, plus Kylie's makeup empire and their sisterly banter. Their dogs might even get a cameo—those pups are Insta-famous!

Here's What Bobby Hill and Pamela Adlon Have in Common
is a reporter at Eater, focusing on pop culture, policy and labor, and only the weirdest online trends. King of the Hill, Mike Judge's seminal animated series about the best darn suburban Texas family who ever lived, is back on the air, and nobody's more excited about it than Pamela Adlon. The Emmy-winning voice actor who brought Bobby Hill, the quirky son of Hank (Judge) and Peggy (Kathy Najimy) Hill to life, was more than thrilled to resurrect one of television's most unique characters, especially when she found out that everyone's favorite cartoon gourmand grew up to be a chef. On the heels of the release of King of the Hill's 14th season on Hulu, Eater caught up with Adlon about returning to the role, why chef was the perfect career choice for a guy like Bobby, and which of the Japanese-German fusion dishes on his menu she's looking forward to trying out. What was it like to inhabit the character of Bobby Hill again after 15 years away from the show? Easy as pie. He just lives inside me, and he's been dormant. It really didn't hit me until later, though, that I do a lot of cooking in real life. I'm an amateur chef, and I did a lot of cooking in my own show, Better Things. So to be able to do that with Bobby, I love that. I love that they're showing grown-up Bobby with his friends who are all off at university, and he's working in a restaurant. He's taken on some of these attributes of his dad — being a blue-collar working man, being responsible — but he's still an outside-the-box thinker who comes up with an idea like serving German-Japanese cuisine in Dallas. What was your reaction when you found out that Bobby grew up to be a chef? I freaked out. I thought it was the greatest thing ever. It just feels right. The only other option was for him to self-actualize and become a prop comic. I love that it has artistry, and also what I call 'blacksmith skills,' the stuff that all human beings need to stay alive. It just feels so natural to see Bobby inside a restaurant. Like, of course he's a chef. It really is a beautiful transition for him, and that's a testament to the writers and the creators of the show, both the OG writers and the new writers. The new writers we got are real fans who grew up with the show, and it's really sweet. They're working so hard to honor the old-school, vintage King of the Hill stuff, but infuse it with new juice. And I think they did an awesome job. Did you bring any of your own restaurant experience to the role? I never worked in a restaurant. I always wanted to have a restaurant, but I'm just an amateur cook. My experience is years of cooking for my kids and their friends. I also did a lot of cooking on Better Things, and I loved incorporating food into those scenes. Food is a big part of my life and what I do, but [the writers] didn't need me to give them any of my ideas. They already came up with all the good stuff. Bobby's German-Japanese fusion definitely sounds interesting, but I'm not so sure about eating herring tempura. Are you looking forward to recreating any of his recipes at home? Absolutely. I think if I had to pick just one, it would be the miso-wurst. ‘Alien: Earth' Is The Best-Reviewed ‘Alien' Entry In 40 Years
Well, I wrote this article last year, but as it turns out, we have a new contender for the best Alien franchise installment since 1986. That would be Noah Hawley's Alien: Earth show. Incidentally, the only actual TV show made in the Alien series, alongside nine total movies. As it stands, Alien: Earth is the third best-reviewed Alien piece of media, behind only 1986's Aliens and 1979's Alien. Here's how the new list breaks down with Alien: Earth's Certified Fresh 90% critic score: Of note, before Alien: Earth, the last Alien movie, Alien: Romulus, reviewed quite well in 2024, the Cailee Spaeny /Isabella Merced feature that mainly featured a truly standout performance from David Jonsson as a synth. This is the first TV show attempt for the franchise, and it will air on Hulu on August 12. Noah Hawley, you may recall, is the mind behind other FX/Hulu projects Legion and Fargo, both rather iconic in their own ways. Now, given a storied franchise, it appears he's done great work here. A sampling of reviews: I don't know how much more praise you can get, and this is definitely more than we saw for Alien: Romulus, despite its reviews. There has been a recent surge in interested in the combined Alien and Predator franchises. Predator just got an amazing animated Hulu film, Killer of Killers, and is about to get a new movie, Predator: Badlands, which will star Elle Fanning as a Weyland-Yutani android and is out this November. Yes, Alien's Weyland-Yutani. Is this all leading up to more Alien vs. Predator? If so, hopefully it can improve its quality by about 500%. Here's the synopsis of Alien: Earth if you're curious where things are going this time: It feels like these series are now both being taken more seriously than they've been in the past with thoughtful projects that don't come off as cash-ins. I believe that Alien: Earth will do well on Hulu, and I don't want to wait a week to watch it. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. 'Golden Girls' to mark 40th anniversary: Look back at iconic sitcom, how to rewatch
It's been four decades of being a friend to Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia. "The Golden Girls" marks its 40th anniversary in September, but the iconic sitcom that followed the lives of four single women is still resonating with viewers today. The show, which starred Beatrice Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty, debuted on Sept. 14, 1985 and ran for seven seasons on NBC. It was considered progressive for its time, in part for depicting four independent, sex-positive women over the ages of 50. Grab a slice of cheesecake and head to your nearest lanai — here's what to know about the milestone anniversary. All seasons of "The Golden Girls" are available to watch on Hulu or Disney+ with a Hulu subscription. Hulu offers two streaming plans, including one with ads and one without. The ad-supported plan costs $9.99/month or $99.99/year. The ad-free plan is available for $18.99/month. There is also a bundle option for Hulu and Disney+, which includes access to both platforms starting at $10.99/month. Watch the Golden Girls on Hulu The ensemble cast of "The Golden Girls" featured Beatrice Arthur (Dorothy), Betty White (Rose), Rue McClanahan (Blanche) and Estelle Getty (Sophia). Arthur, who was also known for her work in "All in the Family" and "Maude," portrayed Dorothy, a substitute teacher and divorcee on the show. Getty appeared as Sophia, Dorothy's mother. White, who died in 2021 just shy of her 100th birthday, played a widow and mother of five, Rose, who was known for her naivety. McClanahan's character, Blanche, was the Southern belle of the group and also a widow. Sophia was the oldest of the four main Golden Girls. In the season two episode "Piece of Cake," Sophia revealed that she turned 50 in April 1956, making her around 79 years old in season one. The youngest Golden Girl was Blanche. In the show's third season, Blanche said she was 17 years old in 1949, so when the series began in 1985, she was about 53 years old. Rose was 55 during the show's first season, as revealed in the episode "Job Hunting." In the season three episode "Nothing to Fear, But Fear Itself," Sophia said Dorothy was conceived in 1931, making her 54 years old at the start of the show. "The Golden Girls" ran for seven seasons from 1985 to 1992. In addition to its 180-episode span, the show produced several spin-offs, including "The Golden Palace" and "Empty Nest." During its run, "The Golden Girls" won 11 Emmy awards and four Golden Globe Awards. All the lead actresses won Emmy awards for their role on the show as well. The series finale of "The Golden Girls" aired as a two-part episode on May 9, 1992. During the episodes, Blanche tries to set her Uncle Lucas up with Dorothy, but Dorothy and Lucas instead trick her into thinking the couple hit it off and decided to get married. By the end of the ruse, Dorothy and Lucas decide to wed for real. In the end, Dorothy moves out of the Miami home she shared with Blanche, Rose and Sophia to live with Lucas in Atlanta. The latter three women went on to star in "The Golden Palace" spin-off. Watch the Golden Girls on Hulu Contributing: Olivia Munson, USA TODAY
