PRINCE Andrew must now come clean and apologise to Virginia Giuffre's family, a lawyer who represents Epstein victims said.
Lisa Bloom said it was "absurd" the Duke of York claimed he had never met Virginia, who accused him of sexually abusing her when she was 17.

Andrew has previously claimed the picture is fake - and even went as far to claim he had never met Virginia.
She accused the prince of sexually abusing her on three occasions, which he vehemently denies.
He later settled a court case with her for a reported £12million.
Lisa told The Sun: "It's always a good time to come clean, to confess to apologise to her family now.
"I certainly hope Prince Andrew is not going to benefit from this tragedy.
"I don't want to go as far and blame Andrew, but he is responsible for his part in her life.
"He is clearly overreaching when he says he never met her.
"He fought her and fought her, and eventually reached a settlement. I think that also speaks volumes.
"Nobody would do that if they had not had some wrongdoing.

"Unfortunately with her gone now you could say, well, maybe it's too late.
"But I'm sure her family and all the many sexual abuse victims who admired her and followed her would still appreciate it if he would come clean."
Virginia claims she was trafficked to Andrew after becoming a victim of convicted paedophile Epstein and his enabler Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence.
British socialite Maxwell was a close pal of Andrew and the two have known each other from their university days, and she later introduced him to Epstein.
Virginia sued Andrew in 2021, claiming she was forced to have sex with the Duke on three occasions when she was a teen.
She alleged was made to have sex with Andrew for the first time at Maxwell's house in London after a night out at the club Tramp.
The mum also claimed she was forced to have sex with the Duke on at least two further occasions by Maxwell and Epstein.
Who was Virginia Giuffre?
VIRGINIA Roberts - later Virginia Giuffre, 41, was an American-Australian campaigner and a prominent victim of the sex trafficking ring of Jeffrey Epstein.
She made claims against Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, as well as Brit socialite Ghislaine Maxwell - Jeffrey Epstein's ex-lover.
Giuffre alleged in court documents that she was procured by Maxwell, 63, the daughter of disgraced tycoon Robert Maxwell, as a teenage 'sex slave' for Epstein.
She released a manuscript just hours before Epstein's death, which added to more than 2,000 documents of a lawsuit pending against the former financier and his pals.
The legal documents were released in a defamation case involving Giuffre, who has claimed in court documents that Prince Andrew slept with her three times.
In 2019, Virginia Roberts claimed that she had sex with Prince Andrew in a toilet when she was 17, after a night where he had allegedly been plying her with vodka in a posh London club.
On February 15, 2022, it was announced that Prince Andrew settled the lawsuit - sparing him a humiliating court battle.
She died by suicide on April 25, 2025 at her home in Western Australia.
But during his notorious car crash Newsnight interview, Andrew sensationally claimed he had never met Virginia.
He also famously claimed during the 2019 chat that he was medically unable to perspire, a response to Ms Giuffre's account of an alleged sweaty dance in London.
Three years later, Andrew paid millions to Virginia after she sued him - sparing him a humiliating court battle.
Asked if we could ever see the royal brought to justice, Bloom said: "I don't think so. I think that time has passed - and that's unfortunate."
The attorney praised Virginia's bravery over the years but told how many sexual abuse victims suffer in silence.
"Virginia is like so many women I have represented over the years," Bloom said.

"What you see in public is one face, but in private there's so much pain. There is so often depression and suicidality.
"A big part of what my team and I do as advocates for sexual assault victims is shoring them up, getting them a good therapist, trying to get them strong enough to come and testify.
"Sexual assault is so devastating to the psyche.
"I just wish she were still here. I wish I could give her a hug and tell her it's going to get better, that people love and admire her.
"I will certainly never forget her. She was truly an inspirational young woman, so brave. And it's just heartbreaking."

PRINCE Andrew's 'delusional' comeback dreams are over after the death of his sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre, insiders say.
He remained silent on her suicide as a source said: 'The door to a return is firmly closed.'
Just weeks before her death, sources close to the Duke claimed the King's brother was 'completely unsurprised' that an Instagram message saying that Virginia had four days to live after a road crash 'turned out to be a fabrication'.
She said she was admitted to hospital after her car was hit by a bus. But police in Australia said they only had reports of a 'minor crash' with no injuries sustained.
Other friends had suggested her admission in November 2022 that she 'may have made a mistake' in alleging that paedophile US tycoon Jeffrey Epstein had trafficked her to lawyer Alan Dershowitz could have offered a way out for Andy.
One insider told The Sun yesterday: 'Any notion that the message or her bus crash story could somehow make her an unreliable witness has now disappeared. The door is firmly closed on any return.'
There are now calls for him to 'honour' his words when he paid millions to Virginia in 2022 and 'pledged to demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein by supporting the fight against the evils of sex trafficking and by supporting its victims'.
Andy's office and Buckingham Palace both released public statements during the Duke's highly-damaging China spy drama after court documents revealed his links to alleged spook Chris Yang.
But they have been silent since Virginia took her own life.
But royal sources insist that he will never return to be a working royal after he was stripped of his titles and roles by the late Queen Elizabeth due to the allegations and links to the late Epstein.
One insider said: 'Andrew does deep down harbour hopes that he can make a comeback — but they are delusional hopes.'
She came forward publicly after the initial investigation ended in an 18-month Florida jail term for Epstein, who made a secret deal and was released in 2009.
In subsequent lawsuits, Virginia said she was a spa attendant as a teen at Mar-a-Lago - US President Donald Trump's Palm Beach club - when she was approached in 2000 by Maxwell.
She was hired as a masseuse for Epstein and was flown around the world for meetings with men at his behest while she was 17 and 18.
Bloom said: "Virginia was not only a very brave advocate for herself, which is hard enough standing up against what she went through, but for all sexual assault victims.
"She spoke out again and again, she was really a leader in the community.
"She was incredibly brave. It is just devastating news.
"Many of my clients in high profile sexual assault cases, whether it was against Jeffrey Epstein or any other high profile person, really admired her.
"[They were] inspired by her courage. Her social media posts were very moving and empowering to a lot of people."

But as the new series of the dating show starts on Monday, we can reveal a darker underbelly to the island far removed from its reputation as the more laid-back luxury sister to the Balearic party capital Ibiza. Tourists have been victims of rape, daylight robbery and assault, while under pressure cops have already arrested 50 suspected pickpockets before the summer season has barely started. Last week a reality TV star was rushed to hospital after reporting being drugged and robbed at a party in a horrifying ordeal. Austrian model Vanessa Mariposa, 32, was left vomiting and unable to walk after she was allegedly spiked on a night out in Majorca. She said: "I was robbed - my Cartier bracelet was taken off my wrist and my SIM card was removed from my phone. 'I'm convinced the people who did this had far worse intentions... otherwise they wouldn't have drugged us or taken steps to stop us from calling for help.' The worrying attack comes as the local police union claimed the island is becoming a 'paradise for criminals' flaunting their shortage of personnel ahead of the holiday season, when Majorca is flooded with tourists. Cops claim their numbers have dropped in recent years and have called for back-up to help them take on the crooks targeting tourists. How Brit tourist hotpsots in Spain became rife with murders and butchery - V2 Luis Bernardo Fernandez, the provincial secretary for the Unified Association of Civil Guards (AUGC) in the Balearic Islands told The Sun a police shortage had direct implications for holidaymaker safety. Meanwhile a travel expert in Majorca is warning Brits to be on their guard as pickpocketing gangs are targeting visitors as they land at the airport and in supermarket car parks. Alex Smith has lived on the island for 20 years and runs popular blog Mallorca Under the Sun. She has warned of a crimewave sweeping the island as it gears up for summer. Alex says the thieves aren't just active in the popular party resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova, but are also hitting quieter spots favoured by families and pensioners. On her YouTube channel Alex warned: 'We are only one week into the summer holiday season, pickpockets are running rife around the holiday resorts right now. In recent years so-called 'Rolex gangs' have been operating on the island, daringly using knives to slice the expensive time-pieces off victims' arms before making their getaway. Last year a Brit holidaymaker had his phone and a £100,000 diamond Rolex watch snatched off him while on a night out. And just last month the National Police Robbery Squad launched an investigation into the theft of a Richard Millie watch valued at £245,000 from a young man while he was walking in the centre of Palma. The brazen criminal approached the victim from behind, assaulted him and managed to steal his watch. In January two Chilean men were jailed for nine years and six years respectively for a series of robberies at luxury homes on the island. The two stole cash and valuables worth an estimated half a million Euros. As well as thefts and burglaries there are even more serious crimes impacting tourists on the island. A British woman was robbed and raped in a horror attack on a beach last year. The 30-year-old told detectives she agreed to go there in the early hours of the morning with a man she met and ended up agreeing to have sex with him, before a second man appeared on the scene and forced himself on her. They then fled the beach near Palma with her belongings, according to the holidaymaker. Also last summer a British teenager was allegedly raped after being plied with alcohol in a bar on the island. And a 21-year-old British tourist claimed she was raped by a man who intercepted her as she returned to her holiday apartment in Port D'Antratx after a boozy night out with friends. Police later arrested a 40-year-old Senegalese man. The previous summer an 18-year-old British girl was allegedly gang-raped by eight men at a Magaluf hotel. Seven French men and one Swiss are still in prison awaiting trial. Last week police arrested a Senegalese man accused of stabbing a young Dutch man in the back in Playa de Palma after being kicked out of a bar. Police have already had their work cut out this year, despite the summer season only just getting underway. Nearly 50 pickpockets and petty thieves targeting tourist victims have been arrested in the past month by police in Majorca who have drafted in early reinforcements to tackle an expected summer crimewave. National Police on the holiday island announced last month that they had brought forward 'Operation Summer' by bringing in extra officers from the mainland specialising in 'prevent and rapid response' crimefighting to work along town hall-employed local police. A spokesman for the force in Majorca said: 'They will serve on the island for a month as a prelude to the incorporation of other units who will work in the municipality of Palma ahead of the arrival of reinforcements in Manacor in Majorca, Ibiza and Menorca.' A National Police spokesman said that the arrests included pickpockets and someone wanted for drug trafficking. They also seized cash, ID documents and high-end stolen items including designer sunglasses. But with the island proving to be a lucrative hunting ground for criminals, it is unlikely that they will go quietly. Violent clashes 11 Many of the Algerian immigrants appear to have arrived on the island in small boats. Police were called to the Palma neighbourhood of Son Gotleu after a street fight involving around 50 people broke out. The clashes were described by one local newspaper as an "open war between racial groups". A band of locals - an unlikely union made up of Spanish gypsies, Morrocans and Africans - took it into their own hands to confront a squad of Algerians, who are said to have installed a reign of terror and have turned the neighbourhood into a breeding ground for violent crimes. Videos emerged depicting the violence of the clashes between the two troops, as well as efforts by the police to restore order. Many of the Algerian immigrants appear to have arrived on the island in small boats, prompting the Balearics President Marga Prohens to blame the lack of troops from the State Security Forces and Corps (FFCCSE) for the growing problem. She said: "The lack of FFCCSE troops is linked to difficulties in controlling the worrying crime data in the Balearic Islands. "As a government, we can only share the concern that this brings to citizens, especially when migrants arriving on the shores of the Islands face them with defiant and obscene gestures.' Around 2,000 migrants have arrived already so far this year. In Majorca it's impossible. "There is all this talk of summer operations and reinforcements but there's always going to be a problem when there's no extra incentives for Civil Guard officers to come here, which is something we've been fighting for for years. 'As things stand today, the Balearic Islands are a place of punishment for officers who get transferred here. 'Nobody wants to come to places like Majorca because of the high cost of living and the fact officers don't get any extra wages or housing allowance of any kind. 'There is an increase in the number of officers but the ideal number of Civil Guard officers for the Balearic Islands should be around 1,730 and at present we currently have only around 1,200 to 1,300. 'We would need around 500 more and 500 are not going to come in the summer. 'I wouldn't put anything past a person like him. 'If he is released, I will worry for every woman and child who, like me, believes the justice system is protecting them. 'A leopard doesn't change his spots.' Later this year Ms Behan expects to discover the outcome of her High Court appeal in Germany against his acquittal for raping her, another woman and a girl in Portugal in 2004. Ms Behan has accused the Portuguese authorities of alleged 'inaction' in identifying and prosecuting Brueckner. In April, she lodged an application to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) against the Portuguese authorities over their handling of her attack. Ms Behan also expressed her sympathy and support for the Leicestershire-based family of Madeleine who went missing in Praia da Luz while on holiday with her family in 2007 when she was three years old. 'As a parent, I cannot begin to imagine what they have gone through and continue to go through every day for the past 18 years,' she said. German and Portuguese police and firefighters carried out a three-day search of an area near Praia da Luz last week in the latest efforts to find out what happened to the missing child.
