Not just Florian Wirtz - Liverpool have ANOTHER exciting German wonderkid
And there's another lesser known youngster at the club who is following in their footsteps at the moment and will hope to follow in their footsteps of Wirtz, too, having been likened to Jamal Musiala.
His name is Vincent Joseph and he plays for Liverpool's U16 team and Germany's U15 national team.

Many in Germany have likened him to Musiala due to his playing style and the fact that he grew up in England and could play for the Three Lions as well but has opted to represent Germany at the moment.
The 15-year-old has been catching the eye at academy level this season. An attacking midfielder, who can also play as a no.10 and out wide and even as a striker, Joseph has been at the club since U9 level, penning his first contract in the presence of Trent Alexander-Arnold almost seven years ago as per Liverpool's official website.
He captained Liverpool at Bayern Munich's U15 Elite Cup last year and has been regularly playing for the club's U16 team this season.
A goal-scorer, who can take players on one vs one and play comfortably with his back to goal, Joseph scored hat-tricks against the likes of Everton and Stockport already this season.

He's been catching the eye in youth tournaments across Europe, just take a look at this rabona assist he made in a tournament in Poland earlier this year in the video above.
Joseph comes from a footballing family. His older brother, Valentin, plays for Blackburn Rovers' U18 team and is also an exciting prospect with 14 goal contributions in 19 matches - close to a goal or assist every 92 minutes in the U18 Premier League this season - including three goal contributions in two matches against Liverpool.
He's an exciting prospect with a lot of potential.
After so many years of not having exciting German players in the team, ironically while playing under the most successful German manager in recent history, Liverpool could now have two of Germany's brightest prospects.

IO Interactive has revealed the official title for its highly anticipated standalone original James Bond video game, 007 First Light . 'So, for us, it's about... we need to feel it, deep inside. The passion needs to be there, so it was very important for us that it wasn't a movie adaptation. So, it wasn't a game about... a specific movie, where the story has already been told." "It's very important that we could create a digital Bond. A Bond for the gaming industry... So it's a completely original story. This felt really, really important for us and we conveyed that to [James Bond owner] EON and they agreed that the result would probably be better doing it like that. Albion player of the year retires from internationals - after 77 England caps
Albion star Fran Kirby has retired from international football. She steps down after being told she would not be picked by England for the Euros this summer. Kirby has 77 caps for the Lionesses and was a deserving winner of the Seagulls' player of the year award for the 2024-25 season. 2025 UEFA Women's Nations League: France Stay Perfect, Switzerland Relegated And Ukraine Promoted

More With the league stage played out in the space of a few months in the first half of the year, the 2025 UEFA Women's Nations League has served as a great appetizer ahead of the Euros. Many of the tournament favorites were in action in League A, while there were some interesting stories and results elsewhere too. Each of the top three from the inaugural edition of the Women's Nations League sealed a return to the knockouts, but they all did so in different ways. In Group A1, Germany's first piece of competitive action under new head coach Christian Wück resulted in an entertaining 2-2 draw with the Netherlands. They proceeded to run away with the group thereafter, scoring 24 more goals and winning all five remaining group games comprehensively, including an emphatic 4-0 triumph over the Dutch to seal first place at the end of May. Austria finished third with six points, while Scotland was relegated after losing each of their first five games. France was even more commanding in Group A2, as they won all six games and kept clean sheets on all but one occasion. Norway was a distant second and followed by Iceland, while upcoming Euro host Switzerland finished last with just two points. Legendary head coach Pia Sundhage certainly has a task on her hands ahead of this summer's big tournament. Group A3 had all sorts of drama from start to finish. Just on the opening day, European champion England was held to a draw by Portugal while world champion Spain had to stage a dramatic late turnaround to beat Belgium 3-2. Ultimately, the two heavy-hitters went head to head for the top spot and semi-final berth. England won their first meeting by a solitary goal, but Spain staged another turnaround in the reverse fixture to win the group on the final day. At the bottom, Greece got the unwanted record of being the only pointless team in the top two divisions of the Nations League. Euro qualifiers Finland faced a tougher test in Group B3, where they were beaten to the top spot by Serbia. So, they will have to compete against a League A side in the promotion/relegation playoffs, which will be held in October. The promoted side from Group B4 was Ukraine, who edged ahead of Czechia thanks to a superior head-to-head record. Croatia was relegated after losing each of their first five games, thus finishing behind Albania. The directly promoted teams from League C are Slovakia, Malta, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Israel and Latvia. The Faroe Islands impressed by accumulating 10 points in six games, but perhaps the biggest story of all was Liechtenstein's final-day draw with Armenia, which earned them their first point in competitive action. Though it might not seem much, it marks a commendable effort from a team taking part in their first-ever official tournament.
