Karrueche Tran stayed by Deion Sanders' side during life-saving surgery. Here's more about her
Tran appeared in a YouTube video titled 'For Your Glory: (Part 1),' which documents Sanders' treatment around his surgery, and includes the 'Claws' actress visibly emotional while at the hospital as she details what Sanders is being admitted for. The video – which includes Tran holding Sanders' hand on the way into the procedure – was shared on Monday.
The pair haven't confirmed or denied the nature of their relationship, and CNN has reached out to representatives for both seeking comment.
Tran, meanwhile, has a life and career beyond the internet's curiosity about her and the football player turned college football coach:
Tran's first listed acting gig on IMDb dates back to 2014, and she has enjoyed roles in TV shows like 'The Last O.G.' and 'Bel-Air' along with films like 'The Nice Guys' and 'Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.'
But it was playing the pivotal character Virginia on the popular series 'Claws' opposite Niecy Nash-Betts that made her a more in-demand actress.
From 2010 to 2024, Tran starred as Vivian Johnson-Garrett on the digital series 'The Bay,' which has won more than 20 Daytime Emmys, according to the show's site. She took home the Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a daytime fiction program in 2021.
This year, she appeared in three episodes of the Paramount+ with Showtime series 'The Chi' as Zuri.
Some may recognize Tran for having had a tumultuous relationship with singer Chris Brown from 2011 to 2015.
Soon after their split, she appeared on the OWN reality series 'Iyanla: Fix My Life' and talked about the betrayal she said she felt after discovering that Brown had fathered a child with another woman.
The host, Iyanla Vanzant, coached her into revealing that she felt devastated because 'the man I loved hurt and betrayed me.'
Tran has also dated NFL receiver Victor Cruz and Quavo, a rapper with the group Migos.
Fans are curious as to the timeline of when Tran and Sanders became close.
The outspoken former athlete's last known relationship was with Tracey Edmonds, who is the former wife of music superstar Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds and was with Sanders for over a decade.
The pair were engaged for four years, but announced their split in 2023.
'We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life as friends and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other and appreciation for the time we've shared together,' they said in a joint statement posted on social media.

Lions 'Inside the Den' shows why the team loved Tate Ratledge as a prospect
It's been several months in the making but we finally got some behind the scenes action from the Detroit Lions during the 2025 NFL Draft. From their "Inside the Den" series on YouTube, the Detroit Lions released their second episode of the 2025 season. This one goes in-depth from the 2025 NFL Draft and it's so interesting to see how the process unfolds. During this episode, we learn about the Lions thought process behind selecting DT Tyleik Williams from Ohio State. Meanwhile, we get to see how the trade process works in Detroit. Especially on day two of the draft where the Lions moved up for IOL Tate Ratledge and WR Isaac TeSlaa. One of my favorite parts of this series are the player interviews at the NFL Scouting Combine. Getting to see how the players respond to coaches and how the coaches respond to the players is always so interesting to watch. Additionally, they talk the X's and O's and to me, that always helps determine what type of player you're getting for your team. One of the interviews the Lions had at the Scouting Combine was with Georgia IOL Tate Ratledge. Aside from his testing and tape, it was clear that this interview helped solidify where the Lions were going to place Ratledge on their board. When talking to Lions OL coach Hank Fraley, there was a question for Ratledge to describe his style of play. Tate responded with confidence, 'I think physical. I play with an edge. I think, in my mind, I know when it comes to the 4th quarter, you're gonna tap before I'm gonna tap. That's how I play.' Lions HC Dan Campbell quickly responded with "got it." Despite not being shown, I'm sure Campbell was all smiles. Additionally, through this episode, it was clear that the Lions had a plan for Ratledge prior to drafting him. There's a part where Lions owner Sheila Ford Hamp asked Campbell and Holmes if he could play center. They reassured her that he could and Campbell even went onto say, "I think, it's better for us in the long haul. It'll be better for us in the short term too." You can watch this "Inside the Den" series with the video posted below. Or you can go to the Detroit Lions YouTube page to get caught up on all of their video content from media interviews with players and coaches to sights and sounds from the regular season. How many kids does Philip Rivers have? Their names and ages
It's always a family affair when Philip Rivers is around. The former Chargers quarterback officially hung up the cleats on July 21, nearly five years after playing his final snaps in the NFL. While the 17-year veteran isn't Hall of Fame eligible until 2026, Rivers does have the privilege of being around for a teammate that he spent plenty of years with – Antonio Gates. Rivers will eventually get his time in the spotlight, but this year is all about Gates, who shared the field with the quarterback for 15 seasons. Gates will have no shortage of supporters in attendance, however, as the Rivers family can certainly fill up the stands. Here's a look at how many kids Rivers has. How many kids does Philip Rivers have? Rivers has 10 kids – Halle, Caroline, Grace, Gunner, Sarah, Peter, Rebecca, Clare, Anna and Andrew. That gives the quarterback enough players to field an offense around him. Halle is the oldest, born on June 2, 2002, while Andrew is the most recent addition to the family, born on October 30, 2023. Here are the ages for all of the Rivers children as of July 2025: Rivers may have hung up his cleats and walked away from football, but he remains involved with the sport as a high school coach in Alabama at St. Michael Catholic. Perhaps the most important title he owns, however, is "dad" to his 10 kids.

'Happy Gilmore 2' footage of Travis Kelce shirtless and screaming is gold
The offseason has been a fun one for NFL star Travis Kelce. The three-time Super Bowl champion was able to travel, spend time with his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift and had a guest role in Adam Sandler's long-awaited sequel to the iconic 1996 comedy Happy Gilmore. In Happy Gilmore 2, Kelce appears as a waiter at the golf club, helping take the orders from some of the most legendary golfers in the game. He works alongside a bus boy -- played by singer Bad Bunny -- and eventually fires him for a perceived slight. It's a small role, but he gets to come back later as Bad Bunny's character goes to his "happy place." In that scene, the Kansas City tight end is tied up to a pole wearing nothing but an apron and has honey slathered on him by Bad Bunny before a bear (or rather a man in a bear costume) comes into the picture. The gag is ridiculous and hilarious -- the hallmark of a Sandler movie -- and we got some fun behind-the-scenes footage of the moment this week. Happy Gilmore 2 is streaming on Netflix.
