By joining up with the PFA pre-season squad, Morrison appears to be targeting a return to English football.
The former Manchester United wonderkid last played on these shores for Derby County during the 2021-22 season.
Morrison has since turned out for DC United in MLS and UAE side Precision.
The midfielder was also in action for Jamaica back in June, bossed by ex-England manager Steve McClaren.

While he has also featured in the Baller League at London's Copper Box Arena.
Earlier this summer, Morrison pleaded with bosses of English sides to ignore his wild reputation and give him a chance.
The former England youth international told The Athletic: "I do believe I can play in the Championship — easy. The frustrating thing is I'm not getting the opportunity.
'My agent has spoken to a lot of sporting directors, chief scouts and heads of recruitment, and we've got really close to an agreement.

'Then they get the manager's opinion and it becomes, 'Ah, but he's done this, he's done that', and they are speaking about things that happened when I was a kid.
'Time has moved on, it's over a decade ago. But it's crazy sometimes how people don't move on.
Kevin Nolan remembers the lost talent of Ravel Morrison
'So many people have formed an opinion about me, but those opinions are based on things that happened 10 to 15 years ago.
'I'm 32 now. I've played football around the world and had a good career. I'm not a kid of 16 or 17 anymore.
'But then again, I have to look at myself because it all stems from my own mistakes. I did some things that were wrong and I can't blame anyone but myself."

Also in the PFA's 42-man training squad this week is Morrison's fellow ex-Man Utd youth product Ryan Tunnicliffe.
The midfielder won the FA Youth Cup in 2011 alongside the likes of Morrison, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Sam Johnstone and Michael Keane.
Following two first team appearances for the Red Devils, Tunnicliffe went on to sign for Fulham, Millwall, Luton and Portsmouth.
He now finds himself a free agent aged 32 following a season Down Under with Adelaide United.
Also on the list is ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman.
The 31-year-old left Stamford Bridge in 2021 without a senior appearance, despite having appeared on the first team bench several times, and most recently played for Shrewsbury.
Ex-Newcastle ace Rolando Aarons is in the squad as well as former Tottenham academy prospect Jaden Brown.

'Maybe Dibling's time at Saints is coming to end'
BBC Sport senior football correspondent Sami Mokbel says those close to Southampton believe Tyler Dibling's time as a Saints player could be coming to an Wednesday, it was revealed the 19-year-old had been withdrawn from full-contact training by the Championship side. Speaking on the Football Daily podcast, Mokbel stated that while some people closer to the Everton camp feel the deal has stalled, others suspect that there are still "legs" to it."The information varies depending on who you speak to," he said. "If you speak to people closer to Everton, they will tell you that the deal has reached an impasse and Southampton are asking for far too much. "If you speak to those closer to the South Coast, there is a realisation there that maybe Tyler Dibling's time is coming to an end."Listen to more about Saints and Dibling on BBC Sounds' Football Daily podcast.

Enzo Maresca issues warning over Estevao 'mistake' ahead of Chelsea debut
Enzo Maresca has warned Chelsea about the danger of putting Estevao 'under pressure' in his first season at Stamford Bridge. Last year, Chelsea reached an agreement to sign the 18-year-old from Brazilian side Palmeiras, paying €34 million (£28.7m) up front plus a further €23m (£19.4m) in add-ons. Estevao remained at Palmeiras until after their Club World Cup campaign and he has now joined Chelsea ahead of the new Premier League season. The winger is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Brazil and is already being compared to Neymar. But Maresca insists Estevao needs time to adjust following his move to the Premier League. In The Mixer: Exclusive analysis, FPL tips and transfer talk sent straight to your inbox every week – click here and sign up before Friday to make sure you don't miss the first edition. 'For me, the biggest mistake we can do with him is to put him under pressure. He's very young, he needs to adapt,' Maresca said. 'I met him for the first time in the USA when we played against Palmeiras. He's a fantastic player, he's very young, he's a happy boy. He's always laughing, typical from a Brazilian guy and we need to keep him happy. 'We need to pay a little bit more attention, first of all because first of all he's from the other part of the world and also he's very, very young. So we need to pay attention. 'As I said, [he is] not under pressure, give him happiness, give him time, he needs to adapt. Hopefully we can give him minutes, so he's even more happy. But for sure, he's a talented player.' More Trending Maresca also believes Estevao is capable of playing in multiple positions in Chelsea's attack. When asked about where Estevao can fit in Chelsea's team, Maresca said: 'He can play everywhere. 'He's so good. For me, he's like Cole [Palmer], in terms of, careful, he is like Cole in terms of position. 'He can play outside, he can play inside, he can play everywhere. In our five attacking positions, for me, he can play everywhere.' For more stories like this, check our sport page. Follow Metro Sport for the latest news on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Wrexham's plan B if record-breaking £7.5m transfer collapses with manager holding up deal
Wrexham's plan B if record-breaking £7.5m transfer collapses with manager holding up deal Wrexham may target a move for a former player if their record-breaking £7.5million move for Nathan Broadhead falls through, as they continue building for the Championship Wrexham co-owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds face a dilemma over their main summer transfer target (Image: Robbie Jay Barratt - AMA/Getty Images) Wrexham could turn to a familiar face if their club-record-breaking £7.5million deal for Nathan Broadhead falls through. The Red Dragons have spent big in the summer transfer window after being promoted from League One last season, with their total estimated outlay reaching an eight-figure sum. Manager Phil Parkinson has received significant funding from Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, bringing in eight new players to date. The former Bolton boss revealed this week that there could be more arrivals as well as he looks to build a squad capable of competing in the Championship. The purchase of a ninth player is on the horizon as Wrexham pursue a move for Broadhead, the Ipswich Town winger who started his career in the North Wales team's academy. If the deal for the Wales international receives the green light, it would see them break their transfer record for the third time during the current window. Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna admitted this week that Broadhead has expressed a desire to leave. However, he insisted he would not sanction the 27-year-old's departure unless the Tractor Boys' scarce attacking options are improved. While Wrexham are prepared to be patient in their pursuit of Broadhead, it's now being reported that they do have a back-up plan if the move collapses. According to the Daily Mail, Barnsley's Davis Keillor-Dunn is being eyed by Parkinson as a potential alternative. The forward was one of the standout performers in League One last term, scoring 18 goals and providing five assists, and previously had a brief spell with Wrexham in the National League in 2020. Article continues below Ipswich Town's Nathan Broadhead (right) is wanted by Wrexham but the deal is currently being held up (Image: PA) Keillor-Dunn would likely be a cheaper option than Broadhead, with the Barnsley Chronicle reporting that the South Yorkshire side is seeking offers in the region of £5m for their player. It remains unclear how long Wrexham are willing to wait for Broadhead's future to be decided, but Ipswich boss McKenna acknowledged the player's preference to make the switch at a press conference on Wednesday. The ex-Manchester United coach said: "(There's) no update from what I said last week, really, with Nathan. He's expressed his desire to look at another opportunity that's been presented to him. "But at this moment with the position the club is in, it's not the right time or even a possible time for us to allow a good player to leave the building. We'll have to see how the situation plays out over the coming weeks." When asked if Broadhead will feature in Ipswich's opening Championship game against Birmingham on Friday night, he added: "He's been training and we're short in those positions. "He's missed some of the pre-season minutes, so he hasn't played quite as much, but he's in our plans for the weekend and there's every chance that we'll need a strong contribution from him." Broadhead has been identified as a key target for Wrexham as they look to finalise their business before the transfer window closes on September 1. He signed for the Tractor Boys from Everton for £1.5m in January 2023 and was instrumental in helping them achieve back-to-back promotions from League One and the Championship.
