Woody and Buzz reunite! Tim Allen spills the beans on 'Toy Story 5'

The highly anticipated fifth instalment of the beloved Toy Story franchise is coming back, and fans will be excited to know that the two besties, Buzz Lightyear and Woody, will reunite after parting ways in "Toy Story 4".
The last "Toy Story" movie ended with Woody opting for a life of freedom without an owner, and fans will get to see them reunite again in the sequel.
Without giving away too much, Tim Allen, the voice behind Buzz Lightyear, has confirmed that Woody and Buzz will indeed reunite in the new film. However, the spotlight will shine brighter on another cherished character, Jessie the cowgirl.
According to Allen, he will be realigning with Tom Hanks, who voices Woody, which confirms that there will indeed be an epic reunion for the two besties.
'I can tell you that it's a lot about Jessie. Tom Hanks and I do — Woody and I — do realign. And there's an unbelievable opening scene with Buzz Lightyear. I can give you that, but I can't give you much more,' Allen confirmed in an interview with WIVB
In "Toy Story 5", Jessie, voiced by Joan Cusack, takes centre stage, allowing for a deeper exploration of her character. The film may explore her backstory or relationships with other toys, potentially bringing new energy and character interactions to the franchise.
With the reunion of Woody and Buzz, Jessie's newfound focus, and the introduction of new themes, promises to deliver an exciting and emotional ride.
Fans can expect a fresh perspective on the toys' relationships in the digital age, new adventures with Jessie taking centre stage, and the franchise's signature blend of humour and emotional depth.
