Predicting Steelers potential trade package for Jalen Ramsey
There is nothing more exciting than trade speculation — and there has been no shortage of it with the Jalen Ramsey to Pittsburgh rumors. Luckily for the Steelers, however, acquiring the Dolphins' All-Pro cornerback could come at a bargain, as Miami is likely desperate to offload his massive contract.
The Rams demanded just a third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long in the trade that sent Ramsey from Los Angeles to Miami — but that was two years ago, when his contract was more feasible.
Ramsey's current deal, which expires in 2029, is far from ideal for any team looking to acquire him — with $25 million due in 2026, $26.8 million in 2027, and $36.1 million in 2028. That financial burden should force the Dolphins to settle for a Day 3 draft pick.
In addition to Miami potentially eating some of his contract, the Steelers could theoretically acquire Ramsey for a fourth- or fifth-round draft pick — potentially creating the most dangerous secondary in the NFL with cornerbacks Joey Porter Jr. and Darius Slay Jr., as well as safeties Minkah Fitzpatrick and DeShon Elliott.
Will the Steelers pull the trigger on the blockbuster trade, or will the Dolphins corner be sent elsewhere?

Husker head coach Matt Rhule impressed with offseason growth of quarterback Dylan Raiola
Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule was a guest on the Always College Football podcast earlier this week and talked about the development of quarterback Dylan Raiola. Raiola had a strong freshman season. He recorded 2,813 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions last season. He finished the season by leading the Huskers to a bowl game victory against Boston College in December. Now, the quarterback enters his sophomore season looking to continue that high level of play. 'To me, it's not about his highs being higher, it's about his loads not being so low. It's the same for our whole team. And so what I loved about Dylan is the consistency that he's got. He's the same guy every day. He's holding people accountable, starting with himself. His body looks great. And he and Dana Holgerson, I think, are going to make a dynamic duo. I think they have a chance to be really special on offense. ' Consistency from Raiola is going to be crucial as the Huskers look to make another leap in 2025. The quarterback has shown that he can be an explosive playmaker and leader under center. Now, it's going to be about putting it all together for an entire season. The offensive side of the football has been upgraded from last season, and it should lead to more success. Time will tell with results on the field, but Raiola has a chance to be successful in 2025. Nebraska will open the 2025 college football season on Thursday, August 28, when the Huskers face the Cincinnati Bearcats at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. K ickoff time is set for 8:00 p.m. CT. Contact/Follow us @CornhuskersWire on X (formerly Twitter), and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of Nebraska news, notes, and opinions.

Promising Texas A&M infielder confirms return to College Station for sophomore season
Texas A&M baseball head coach Michael Earley retained another promising infielder for next year's club, as the No. 3 shortstop in Texas from the 2024 class is reportedly returning for his sophomore season in College Station. According to TexAgs analyst Ryan Brauninger, Fort Worth native Sawyer Farr confirmed he will gear up for the Aggies in 2026. He made 31 starts in 39 appearances with 15 hits, including a triple, 17 walks and four RBI. The announcement from Farr will provide Earley with another up-and-comer who has the potential to become a superstar for the Aggies baseball program. Perfect Game USA ranked the 6-foot-4-inch shortstop as the No. 17 prospect at his position and the No. 67 overall player in the country from his class. Although the opportunity was there for Farr to go pro and potentially sign with a Major League Baseball franchise, he signed with the Aggies. Heading into the 2025 campaign, the freshman joined fellow teammate and outfielder Terrence Kiel II as the two Aggies to make Perfect Game USA's Top 75 Freshman list. According to the outlet's evaluation of Farr during Texas A&M's fall ball in 2024, he showed promise from both sides of the plate entering his first season in Aggieland. "Armed with real switch hit juice, true freshman Sawyer Farr, hit some balls extremely hard in looks and got some good starts at second base, though the frame and athlete may move him to the left side of the dirt long term." Both Farr and Kiel are now officially returning for their sophomore seasons in the Maroon and White uniform, which provides Earley's club with speed on the basepath and consistent hitting at the plate if they reach their full potential. Farr's announcement on Saturday night continues to grow the flame that the Aggies are trying to build back as preparations begin for offseason work in College Station.
