TV couple Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty announce separation
They said in a joint statement to the PA news agency: 'We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.

'We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected.
'There will be no further comment.'
Deeley, 48, has hosted ITV's This Morning alongside Ben Shephard since early last year, and previously lived in Los Angeles for more than 10 years.
She hosted the US series So You Think You Can Dance, also appearing on SM:TV Live with TV duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly from 1998 to 2002.
She also previously co-hosted BBC singing contest Fame Academy, alongside Kielty, and took over ITV's Stars In Their Eyes from Matthew Kelly.
Northern Irish presenter Kielty, 54, is the host of RTE talk show The Late Late Show, having taken over from Ryan Tubridy in 2023.
He made his feature film debut the year prior when he starred as a budding comedian going through a marriage break-up in Ballywalter, a movie that takes its title from the Northern Irish town in County Down.
The comedian and presenter began his stand-up career as host of Northern Ireland's first comedy club, The Empire Laughs Back, in pre-ceasefire Belfast and graduated to presenting programmes such as Channel 4's Last Chance Lottery and BBC One chat show Patrick Kielty Almost Live.
He also presented the documentary My Dad, The Peace Deal And Me, about his father's death at the hands of paramilitary gunmen.
Kielty and Deeley's first child, a son called Milo, was born in 2016 and their second son, James, was born in 2018.

Writing online, viewers soon shared they'd worked out the latest location at a fast speed. Many correctly deduced that the contestants were in Salzburg, Austria. BBC One's MasterChef lost nearly one million viewers during its return last night, marking the final series with hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode following their recent sacking MasterChef has lost almost one million viewers as fans snubbed the BBC One programme after the firing of John Torode and Gregg Wallace. The show's latest series premiered on BBC One last night, marking the last with Torode and Wallace after their recent misconduct scandal. Torode's contract was not renewed by production company Banijay UK after it was alleged that he used racist language, whilst his co-star Gregg was fired from the programme after 41 of the 83 complaints against him were upheld by an investigation into his conduct. Despite the scandal, the BBC aired its 21st series, which was filmed before Torode and Wallace were let go from the programme. It has now been revealed that just under two million people watched the show's premiere on Wednesday, according to BBC News. This means that the show has lost almost a million viewers since last year, after last year's premiere brought in 2.7 million viewers. It comes after reports Gregg Wallace is trying to 'earn a living' after MasterChef exit amid 'battle every day'. Wednesday saw the show return but with major changes as last minute edits were made to the series in light of the scandal. Both presenters appeared in the introduction shots of the first episode, however their screen time was massively reduced compared to the previous series. BBC bosses have begun to airbrush them out of MasterChef - removing any promotional pictures of them and reducing their screen time. Neither presenter is mentioned in the descriptions for the three available episodes. Those who did tune in took to X to say that they were switching off as they made the same complaint about the programme. One viewer wrote on X: "I shall tune in to this for 10 or 15 minutes just to see how it has been re-cut to remove its presenters," before adding just minutes later: "Well I've switched it off. The @BBC has made no attempt to remove them from the show." A second said: "We have also switched off Master chef. I can't bear to watch. Of course they could have edited the presenters out and had some sort of voice over." Earlier today, a PR specialist revealed that Torode has "one chance" to save his career after the scandal. Kayley Cornelius told The Mirror: "Should he take accountability for his actions, apologise to those he's upset or disappointed, and demonstrate clear growth since the time of the incident, I do believe, based on current online sentiment, that he has a chance to win back some public support."

Destination X fans slam 'unforgivable' moment contestants missed obvious clue
Destination X viewers have been left baffled at how long it took the contestants to guess the Sound of Music clues during the episode. Episode four of Rob Brydon's new BBC reality show, which has been tipped as Race Across the World meets The Traitors saw our group of geographical voyagers shepherded from Munich into Austria. The goal of the game is for the players to figure out where on earth they are by picking up on the clues dropped through various games, and the look of the area around them. Ultimately, the person to guess the furthest location from where they truly are by the end of the episode is booted out of the coach. As they drove through the beautiful landscapes, they stopped off at a castle where they listened to music from artists linked to the final destination, like Mozart, alongside other hints to guide them towards the right location. Eventually, they ended up in the famed hills used in The Sound of Music when Julie Andrews sings 'Do Re Mi' – one of the most memorable sequences in cinematic history. Here they had to complete a task where each group had to answer questions based on what they had seen so far, while two people are played the iconic (if not slightly distorted) song in headphones. One contestant, London cab driver Daren Parr took a while to come to the conclusion many viewers had already come to, at one pointing calling the noises 'nonsense'. And he wasn't the only one to take quite a while to put two and two together about the musical, which is filmed in Salzburg and the location. 'It's been on every Christmas since I was a child in the 90's! Surely they've seen the Sound of Music,' MishyMoo wrote on X. 'Wow have these people not seen the sound of music.. shocking,' olslola said. 'Are they deliberately being thick? It's quite blatantly The Sound of Music lyrics,' j11_lee added. 'Bad enough doesn't know what horseshoes are, or tally marks.. Unforgivable never seen Sound of Music…,' Emma Litson agreed. 'What?! Are you seriously telling me that none of these contestants have seen The Sound of Music which is on every Christmas! Julie Andrews would be horrified!' Matthew Chapman echoed. The clues haven't always been so straightforward, however. In one episode, they had giant red balls which were ultimately meant to represent cherries which one user Matthew Rimmer called 'Masked Singer-level obscure clue'. More Trending Dr Tim Galsworthy agreed to the general sentiment, adding: 'The clues in Destination X are ridiculous. They're either like 'here's a sign saying Munich' or 'here's a man in an orange top and orange was the third favourite colour in Bavaria in 1977'.' Nevertheless, the show seems to be growing on the general public but whether it stands the test of time remains to be seen.
