A woman says that her husband has gotten 'flirty' with a female coworker — and it coincides with his 'big transformation' after getting back into going to the gym

The woman shared her story on a popular U.K.-based community site, and members are divided over whether or not the woman is being unreasonableA woman says that her husband has gotten 'flirty' with a female coworker since getting back into shape — and she's not happy about it.
The woman detailed her story in the 'Am I Being Unreasonable?' forum on the U.K.-based community site Mumsnet, a place where women can go to seek advice from other women. In her post, the woman says that her husband recently underwent a 'big transformation' and is 'looking great' after getting back into going to the gym.
She also shares that he previously worked from home, but began working in an office about a year and a half ago.

'Since starting this job, he's become friendly with three women who work there,' the original poster (OP) continues, before adding that she has a 'bad feeling' about one of the women.
The woman says that she has heard her husband talk on the phone with the coworker, and that their rapport makes her feel 'uncomfortable.'
'Just felt flirty or something,' she explains.
The OP — who notes that she just gave birth to their second child — says that she ultimately checked her husband's phone and discovered 'so so many messages between them.'
'Nothing sexual, but flirty,' she explains, adding that the female coworker had even messaged comments about her husband's body after he posted gym progress photos.
'There were a lot of messages where she was asking how I was during the pregnancy, and this was my husband's defense — that [the messages were] mostly about me and he talks about me all the time [at] work,' the OP continues.
However, she says that her husband 'would go mental' if the situation were reversed and she were messaging a male colleague in the same way, 'yet he can't see why I'm annoyed about this.'
'AIBU [am I being unreasonable] to be annoyed/concerned?' the woman asks at the end of her post.
The scenario divided Mumsnet members, with some saying that they think the OP has every right to be upset by her husband's behavior.
'Sounds like an emotional affair,' said one person. 'Given you're at a vulnerable time on maternity leave, I'd expect someone who respects you to have better boundaries. This is not acceptable … Wouldn't be surprised if you're back here in a few months having discovered a physical affair. This is only heading in one direction.'

'Your husband doesn't have to admit it for it to be real,' said someone else, adding, 'If you feel he's overstepped, then he has. He needs to cool the friendship; that would be my take-home. But ultimately, if he's someone who will emotionally cheat on his pregnant wife, then he'll do it whenever.'
Other community members, however, said they thought the OP was overreacting, and that men and women are perfectly capable of maintaining platonic friendships.
'They're friends. I don't see the issue,' said one person.
Another person agreed, adding, 'I dunno, I have male colleagues at work who I consider good friends and chat to all the time. I've never considered them being anything other than friends.'
