Revealed: The financial sacrifices Jack Grealish has made ahead of his move to Everton... with Man City star going 'above and beyond' to push through Toffees loan
Jack Grealish has agreed to a number of financial sacrifices to push through a loan move from Manchester City to Everton. The England international, who earns around £300,000 a week plus sponsorships at City, has, according to Everton sources, gone 'above and beyond' to make the deal happen while there is an option to make the move permanent next summer for £50million. Decked out in a black velour tracksuit, Grealish underwent his Everton medical on Monday, ahead of signing on Tuesday, eager to put himself in contention to face Leeds United in the club's Premier League season opener next week. After spending the majority of last season on the periphery of Pep Guardiola 's first team, making only seven league starts, the 29-year-old has been convinced by manager David Moyes that Everton can provide him with the platform to rekindle his form of old and stake a claim for Thomas Tuchel 's England World Cup squad. The move across the North West also means Grealish does not have to uproot his young family. The £100m signing from Aston Villa, who has had several offers to leave City this summer, was left 'heartbroken' when he missed out on the England squad for the 2024 European Championship after losing his regular place under Guardiola. City are now contemplating a move for Real Madrid 's £80million-rated Brazilian forward Rodrygo to freshen up their attacking options. Aside from Grealish's departure, they spent Monday negotiating with Nottingham Forest over the proposed sale of James McAtee while Tottenham are expected to return with an improved offer for City winger Savinho, after having an opening £43m proposal rejected. City, having rejected Forest's opening proposal of £25m for England U21 international McAtee last week, were pushing for £30m in talks on Monday but Forest's offer was around £27m including add-ons as negotiations continued. McAtee. who won the European U21 Championship with England in June, made 15 Premier League appearances last season, scoring three times, but is not part of Guardiola's plans. Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt have also made pitches to the 22-year-old McAtee in recent weeks. Preliminary talks have been held between Tottenham and City over the 21-year-old Savinho, who joined City from Girona last summer. It is expected to take around £60m for City to consider selling the Brazilian. Spurs are looking for attacking reinforcements after missing out on Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White, selling Heung-Min Son and losing James Maddison to a long-term knee injury.

Arsenal could lose summer transfer battle as Premier League star 'says yes' to move
Manchester City are weighing up a move for Real Madrid's Rodrygo - who has been on Arsenal's radar all summer - as they look to replace Tottenham target DSAivnho Manchester City could make moves for Rodrygo late in the transfer window as they look to fill potential gaps left by Savinho and Jack Grealish - who are both in talks to leave the Etihad. The Real Madrid forward has seen his future be front and centre throughout the summer and could still depart the Bernabeu. Arsenal have been heavily linked with the Brazilian, who has fallen down the pecking order after the arrival of Xabi Alonso in the dugout. They haven't acted yet and are also keeping tabs on Eberechi Eze, which could now open the door for Pep Guardiola and City to make a move. Rodrygo is valued at £87million and would be a blockbuster signing for those on the blue side of Manchester. AS have reported that Rodrygo felt undervalued last season and has not been a regular starter under new manager Alonso during the Club World Cup and pre-season, leaving him to assess whether or not to pursue pastures new. City could be well armed financially to make a move, especially if Savinho makes a move to Tottenham. Globo reports that the Brazilian has given the green light to the move and now wants negotiations to accelerate as he looks to find a new home in north London. Guardiola only signed Savinho last summer, bringing in the winger from Troyes, but he made a positive impact and the Manchester outfit are loathed to sell. It means it will take a hefty offer from those at Tottenham before City are prepared to offload the 21-year-old. Grealish too is closing on a move away from the Etihad after falling down the pecking order. He is set to join Everton on loan and City want to recoup the bulk of his £300,000-a-week wages - which could take Everton's outlay to more than £12m once a loan fee is accounted for. City have made some shrewd additions in the final third this summer in an effort to recover from their worst season since 2016/17, but signing Rodrygo would be their headline capture. The Real man has scored 50 times across the last three campaigns and won the Champions League. Already on the blue half of Manchester they have bought in Rayan Cherki from Lyon. The highly-rated Tijjani Reijnders is City's most expensive signing, joining from AC Milan, with Rayan Ait-Nouri also making the move from Wolves.
