Warning to Clubland fans over BANNED glowsticks: All you need to know ahead of P&J Live show
Ahead of the show, P&J Live has reminded ticketholders that glowsticks are banned from the arena.
Glowsticks are outlawed at the venue, but for this particular event, organisers have warned visitors any glowsticks brought along will be confiscated.
Iconic dance acts, including Basshunter and Cascada, will take to the stage to perform their biggest tracks at the Aberdeen stop of the tour.

Doors open for the event at 6pm, and the show kicks off at 7pm.
P&J Live has reminded ticketholders to be logged into their Ticketmaster or AXS app with their tickets open upon arrival.
The show ends at 10.30pm, with an 11pm curfew.
Those hoping to park near the venue are encouraged to arrive early and can park at the surface car park or the sub-T underground car park.

The full lineup for the show is Basshunter, Ben Nicky, Cascada, Darren Styles, Flip N Fill, Karen Parry, Kelly Llorenna, and Ultrabeat.

Under-14s cannot purchase standing tickets, and instead must be in the seated area with an adult over the age of 18.
Under-16s are permitted into the standing area if they are accompanied by an over-18. Prohibited items
Alongside glowsticks, large bags, backpacks of any kind, and umbrellas are not permitted.

Free water is available from coolers across the venue.
Kiosks and bars will be put in place to serve refreshments, food and snacks.
Fans can also pick up merchandise, which will be available on the ground floor concourse.

Tears as Pride of Britain judges pick their winners from inspirational shortlist
Judging for the 2025 Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with P&O Cruises, took place today - and the celebrity judges had some tricky choices to make There was hardly a dry eye in the house at Thursday's judging for the 2025 Daily Mirror 's Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with P&O Cruises, as a star-studded panel gathered to shine a light on the extraordinary feats of ordinary people. Joining veteran hosts Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo were acting legend Michael Sheen, ex-Strictly professional Oti Mabuse, rapper Aitch and Coleen Rooney. They were joined by Pride of Britain red carpet stalwarts Pete Wicks and GK Barry, Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway, and Lioness champion Lucy Bronze. 'It's going to be fun,' said Ashley ahead of the judging. 'I've read up on all the shortlisted nominees but now I'm ready to hear what the other judges think. I really can't pick. "Me and Carol, we see people from this stage, we meet them, we give them their awards, and we usually see them afterwards, so we're with them for their whole journey. And every one of them deserves to win.' Newly recruited judge Coleen, who lost her beloved sister Rosie McCloughlin to a lifelong battle with Rett syndrome at the age of 14, said she was taken aback by how tough it was to pick just one inspirational winner from each category. 'It's a privilege to be asked to be on the judging panel, and to hear so many amazing stories of inspirational people from all walks of life,' she said. 'But I didn't realise it would be this hard! And England star Lucy, fresh from the Lionesses' extraordinary Euros victory, told the Mirror: "It was amazing to hear the stories, the depth of the bravery we've heard about, and just to have a small part to play in the event, it's such an honour. All the nominees merit acknowledgment.' 'All of the entrants tugged at my heartstrings,' said Carol, who is co-hosting this year's awards ceremony for her 26th time. 'But the children in particular are just incredible.' Podcast host GK Barry said: 'It's my second year on the judge's panel so I feel I'm getting more into it now. There were so many amazing people last year, it's so difficult when it comes to picking someone. They're all doing mental things, but I'm excited for this year's batch of winners.' Michael Sheen, who had to run for his curtain call in the West End, joked that there should be a special show dedicated just to all the nominees for the Lifetime Achievement award. 'Every one of these people's stories are amazing,' he added. Hundreds of thousands of nominations had flooded in this year after Pete Wicks, GK Barry and Sam Thompson were sent on a mission to comb every inch of the UK to find the nation's unsung heroes. New alterations shop to bring a tailored touch to Inverurie
A new alterations shop is hoping to stitch itself into the heart of Inverurie. Anca Mazhari has opened Thistle Alterations in Falconer Court on North Street. The shop, which offers dry cleaning, laundry and clothing alterations, is the second location for Anca, who already operates a successful branch in Aberdeen. Anca, who has six staff members, decided to open the shop after realising there was a 'big demand' in the area for her services. The 38-year-old, and husband Amir, spent months looking for the perfect location. She said: 'We saw there was a big demand but no alteration shop whatsoever in Inverurie. 'My husband and I had been driving for months, twice a week to look for premises. 'We wanted to do Inverurie because we actually get a lot of customers in the Aberdeen shop from Inverurie.' Anca, who also runs Thistle Alterations in Aberdeen's Chapel Street, spent four months renovating her new premises, which was formerly Altro Designerwear. She said: 'My husband and I did most of the work. 'It was a lot of late nights with 3am finishes, commuting back and forth from Aberdeen. 'But it's worth it as we really wanted to make this happen.' Thistle Alterations opened its doors last week and Anca, mum to Aydin, has been overwhelmed by the support. She said: 'It's been fantastic. 'There's been more people than we expected. Everyone has been so friendly and supportive. 'We've been non-stop.' Anca, who has owned her Aberdeen shop for five years, got a surprise earlier this year when Dragons Den star Steven Bartlett booked an appointment at her shop. The Diary of a CEO podcaster needed his suit trousers altered. Calling it a 'memorable experience' and a 'privilege to assist him', Anca said he was 'just like a normal person'. In November 2021, they helped fix the dress of singer Leona Lewis, who was in Aberdeen as the support act for Gary Barlow at P&J Live.
