IAS Athar Aamir Khan, who secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 2 in the 2015 UPSC Civil Services Exam, met his batchmate Tina Dabi, the AIR 1 holder, during training. The two fell in love and got married in 2018, making headlines when Tina dropped 'Khan' from her social media handles after their marriage.
However, their marriage was short-lived, and they divorced in 2021. Tina went on to marry IAS Pradeep Gawande in 2022, while Aamir Khan tied the knot with Mehreen Qazi the same year.
Who Is Mehreen Qazi?
Mehreen Qazi, a highly qualified medical professional from Kashmir, holds an MD degree from Ambedkar University, Delhi. She furthered her education with a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Queen Mary University of London, a PG Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology from the UK, and a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine from Denmark. She has a medical license in the United Kingdom and board certification in Internal Medicine.
Mehreen has previously served as a Scientific Officer at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in Delhi. In 2022, she married IAS officer Athar Aamir Khan, and the couple welcomed a baby boy named Ehaan in 2024.
IAS Tina Dabi secured AIR 1 in the UPSC exam 2015 and became an IAS officer at the age of 22. She first married IAS Athar Aamir Khan, then got divorced. Later, she married IAS Pradeep Gawande in 2022. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in September 2023.
Gawande, a 2013-batch officer from Maharashtra, is a qualified doctor who completed his MBBS degree. He met Tina Dabi, a fellow IAS officer, during the COVID-19 pandemic while working in Rajasthan's health department. Notably, Gawande is 13 years older than Tina Dabi, and the two eventually got married in 2022.

She said, 'I replaced an actor who had a medical problem, so they came to me very last minute. They offered me that actor's price. We didn't even negotiate. They were in a pickle, so it was a lot of money to step in, with maybe 10 days notice and three hard days of work. I loved working with the dialect coach and I loved going into a terrifying job with mouthfuls and mouthfuls of stuff, more than I've said in my entire career and treating it like a piece of theatre and going in with my s— together and with everything memorised so I can just play with it, like it's onstage."
