The Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Admissions (CCMT) 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result has been announced on June 9 at the official website – ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
Candidates who participated in the counselling process based on their GATE scores can now check their allotment status by logging in with their credentials. CCMT is a common platform for admission into postgraduate programs offered by NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded institutes across India.

According to the latest notice from the commission, the exam will take place on September 10, 2025, across 11 districts in Bihar. It will be held in a single shift from noon to 2:15 PM. The official notification states that the examination will be conducted in two phases. The first phase is a preliminary exam, and candidates who qualify will need to apply for the main examination. Those who clear the prelims and mains exam will next have to appear for the interview round followed by a document verification. A total of 41 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. In the preliminary examination, one paper will be on General Knowledge. The subject of the examination and the number of questions will be as follows:- (a) General Studies – The number of questions will be 50. (b) General Science and Mathematics – The number of questions will be 50. (c) Mental Ability Test – The number of questions will be 50. All questions will be objective and multiple choice. Each question will carry one mark. Candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognised university to be eligible for the recruitment examination, which means holding a graduate degree is mandatory. Additionally, as of August 1, 2025, the minimum age requirement for candidates is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 37 years for unreserved category male candidates, 40 years for backward classes (both male and female) and unreserved category female candidates, and 42 years for SC/ST candidates (both male and female). The retirement age is 60 years. The commission has also warned that any discrepancies in the information provided by a candidate in the application forms for the preliminary and main examinations may lead to disqualification from the main examination. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that the examination date for the preliminary competitive test for the post of Assistant Branch Officer under Advertisement No. 37/2025 is scheduled to be held on September 10, 2025, across designated centres in 11 districts of the state. According to the notification, released last night, the candidates will appear for the General Knowledge (Objective) paper from 12:00 noon to 2:15 PM on the exam day. The commission has advised aspirants to carefully check their admit cards for details of examination centres and instructions. This recruitment drive will fill a total of 41 vacancies in the post of Assistant Branch Officer. The positions fall under Pay Level 7, carrying a salary scale of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 per month along with admissible allowances.
