Lauren Sanchez Channels ‘Strength and Timeless Beauty' in Sophia Loren's John Galliano Dress at Breakthrough Prize 2025 With Jeff Bezos
Lauren Sanchez channeled Sophia Loren at the Breakthrough Prize 2025 ceremony on Saturday in Los Angeles, where the philanthropist joined Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on the red carpet.
'I wore a little piece of history. This 1994 John Galliano dress was once worn by the legendary Sophia Loren — an icon of strength and timeless beauty,' Sanchez revealed on Instagram. 'I was proud to give it a second life on a night all about pushing boundaries and honoring brilliance.'

Sanchez accessorized with a crystal-embellished clutch shaped like an astronaut by Judith Leiber.
Molly Dickson is the stylist behind some of Sanchez's recent red carpet looks. In March, she dressed the journalist in a custom Oscar de la Renta dress for the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars. Sanchez wore a white strapless dress with a mermaid skirt and train trimmed with feathers, and paired the gown with an emerald necklace.
Sanchez has also collaborated with stylist and costume designer Kelly Johnson, wearing looks by Dolce & Gabbana and Lever Couture. The fianceé of Jeff Bezos notably wore a white suit with a sheer bralette by Alexander McQueen for Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C.
Sanchez is set to lead Blue Origin's 11th human and first all-female flight, NS-31, which will lift off from Launch Site One in West Texas on April 14. The mission includes Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyễn, Gayle King, Katy Perry and Kerianne Flynn.
The 11th annual Breakthrough Prize ceremony, often called the 'Oscars of Science,' celebrated the groundbreaking achievements of the world's leading scientists and mathematicians, with over $15 million in prizes awarded annually. Each prize, valued at $3 million, is presented in the fields of Life Sciences, Fundamental Physics and Mathematics. The list of celebrity guests included Christina Aguilera, Drew Barrymore, Jessica Chastain, Lily Collins, Lizzo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lionel Richie, Zoe Saldaña and more.

Not only can the right accessories make it easier and more fun to play all of the games you love, but they can also make your gaming experience better in different environments, be it on the couch, in an airplane or in the car. We're excited to get our hands on some of the newest Switch 2 accessories (more on those below), but plenty of our favorite classics are compatible with the Switch 2 as well as older versions of the console. It performed well in our testing and we like its built-in display that shows the amount of power left in the bank itself, as well as the wattage funneling to each device you have connected to it. — V.P. $135 at Amazon We're mentioning the SanDisk microSD Express Card in this guide for now since it's the only microSD Express Card we've been able to fully test at this point. In our testing, we found SanDisk's card to be super fast, with impressive sequential read and write speeds. At its best, it's roughly twice as fast as the best UHS-I models we've tested. It's on the expensive side, though, starting at $54 for 128GB, and currently its only other configuration is 256GB. Deion Sanders Shoe Style Through the Years [PHOTOS]
In 2023, Deion Sanders, along with Allen Iverson and Derek Jeter, were the first trio of athletes to be inducted into The GQ Sports Style Hall of Fame—and for good reason. Sanders has been the definition of flashy and cool, bringing a blend of flyness, style and confidence that had yet to be seen in the NFL. From the dollar sign earrings the football star wore during Draft Day in 1989 to his own signature Nike sneaker in 1993, Sanders' influence on football expanded way beyond the field. His sense of style also shined through during games and inspired other players, while his penchant for sparkling jewelry—from stacked gold chains and bracelets to diamond rings—was passed down across the league and continues to be on full display with present day athletes. Sanders played in the NFL for 14 seasons, as well as an additional nine seasons of Major League Baseball with several teams. He won two Super Bowl titles and made one World Series appearance in 1992, making him the only athlete to play in a Super Bowl and a World Series. When he was playing both football and baseball for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves in 1992, Sanders also signed his first contract with Nike. He released his first signature sneaker—the Air Diamond Turf—the following year. The sneakers and cleats continue to be fan favorites and lauded as one of the best as far as design and style among athletes. He parted ways with Nike at one point and signed with Under Armour in 2009, before reuniting with Nike in 2023 when he became the University of Colorado's football head coach.
