Britney Spears sparks concern with off-key rendition of Prince song in bizarre video from disheveled mansion
The 43-year-old songstress - who recently suffered a wardrobe malfunction in a peekaboo dress - filmed herself wearing a skimpy ensemble and showed off her vocal skills to her 41.8 million followers.
The Baby One More Time hitmaker belted out lyrics to her own rendition of Prince's song Kiss, although her tone appeared off-key at some moments.
At one point, Britney could be heard singing, 'I don't know who I am, oh, oh,' while adjusting a large light next to her camera.
She wore a brown bralette top that had a white polka dot pattern as well as a plunging neckline on the front.
The songstress completed her look by slipping into a pair of mini white shorts and black knee-high boots.
Clutter could be seen in the spacious living room behind her, and towards the end of the clip an adorable pup strutted behind Britney in the background.
In the caption, the singer penned to her fans: 'I would say, Julia Roberts singing Prince's "Kiss" off key a touch, but I sounded really good behind the lens lol!!!
'PSS Wise a**es, I do know who I am !!!' she added, referencing to the lyrics she had been singing.
'I have eight different languages written on my neck ... these are my pjs, but I put these boots on to play with lighting ... not the most elegant look but hey!!!'
In a second video also shared on Monday, the performer explained that she was in the midst of cleaning her abode but decided to take a quick break.
Britney also belted out some more vocals for her followers as she adjusted the camera and lighting.
'Messing around with lighting and cleaning my house like no tomorrow,' the star wrote in the caption.
Britney rarely sings in her social media clips, and instead will showcase her dance moves.

Most recently, the Toxic songstress donned a very revealing gold minidress that had a large cutout around the bust area in a reel shared last week.
But as she moved in front of the camera, the star suffered numerous nip slips - but made sure to add flower emojis for coverage.
It comes not long after Britney's ex Sam Asghari took a swipe at the star's ex-husband Kevin Federline as he prepares to release a tell-all memoir titled You Thought You Knew.
The Gimme More hitmaker was previously married to Sam from 2022 until their divorce was finalized last year. In December 2024, the pop singer was declared legally single.
Britney also tied the knot with Kevin in 2004 until their split in 2007. The former couple are parents to sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18.
While out in Los Angeles earlier this month, Sam shared his thoughts about Kevin's book while talking to TMZ.
'Well, he was a professional father so he would be a great... it would be the first book that'll tell you how to be a professional father.'
The actor was possibly making a reference to the child support payments Kevin had been receiving from Britney for their two sons - which officially ended in November 2024 when Jayden turned 18.
Sam has previously voiced support for Britney, such as earlier this year in January when he reflected on the 'darker side of Hollywood.'
While talking to Page Six, he said: 'You have to be careful in every industry. Not just in Hollywood. You have to always be careful and protect yourself and protect the people that you love.'
In regards to his ex-wife, the star added, 'I just wish her the best. I think that the number one factor of a partner is to be there for one another, no matter what.

One penned, 'So, no one would buy his story, so he thinks people want to hear him read his notes app life story?'
And over on Reddit, another said, 'That child support dried up realllllll quick,' while one added, 'His timing tells you everything.'

The report detailed how the Life After Beth director had been 'experiencing marital difficulties' in his final months and how he had been in therapy. An investigator noted in the documents that Aubrey, whose name was redacted in the final report, said she had spoken with Jeff the night before his death. Breaking Bad icon spotted dining out at Edinburgh restaurant
An Edinburgh tapas and wine restaurant was delighted to welcome a surprise celebrity visitor. Hollywood actor Bob Odenkirk visited the Scottish capital on Monday earlier this week, August 18. In the heart of the old town, PIGGS wine bar, which is famed for its authentic Spanish tapas, was delighted to welcome the Breaking Bad icon. Odenkirk played the role of Saul Goodman in the acclaimed television series, and Better Call Saul. He was snapped alongside staff, as writes Edinburgh Live. The restaurant posted the encounter on their social media, as they took to Instagram captioning the snap: "Breaking bread with Saul... turns out the only thing criminal was how good the wine was." Locals soon swarmed the post, including fans of both the restaurant and the star, as they expressed their excitement at the chance encounter which was shared to their 35.6k social media followers. One person commented: "Amazing. I love that dude and I love your restaurant." Meanwhile another remarked: "How lovely for him to see Scotland." And a third noted: "Lovely. All I can say is, I'd love to be there right now." Elsewhere, Odenkirk doesn't expect his character in Better Call Saul to become free from behind bars anytime soon. The Breaking Bad spin-off concluded three years ago. The series ran for six season on AMC from 2015 to 2022. It doesn't seem optimistic for fans about a revival for more episodes. However, Odenkirk said 'of course I would' when asked if he would reprise his role as the scam artist and lawyer Saul Goodman. 'That part turned my life around, and I've given more to that part than anything I've done,' he said on Today. 'Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould created that show. They are some of the best writers who ever worked in TV. So if they were to think of something in that world, of course I would do it.'
