Ariana Grande Affirms Commitment to Music

Yara Sameh Ariana Grande has reassured fans that making music remains a priority, even after her ventures into the 'Wicked' universe and her upcoming role as part of the voice cast in John M. Chu's 'Oh, the Places You'll Go' film. The pop star took to social media to explain that she has read the comments and isn't closing a chapter on the music aspect of her career, even though acting has taken priority as of late. 'Very silly of you all to assume that just because i have my hands full with many things that i plan to abandon singing & music … !!! it is and has always been my lifeline. there will need to be room made for all of it. 🧚🏼‍♂️,' she wrote. 'It may not look exactly like it did before but i much prefer how it looks in my head. i am having fun. i feel grateful and excited and inspired. :) finding a balance, between many projects and endeavors i love, and doing it my own way… so i'm working on a plan to sing for you all next year. even if it's just for a little. i love you.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ariana Grande (@arianagrande) Grande, of course, hasn't left her music career behind. Last year, she released her seventh album 'Eternal Sunshine' and, this past March, dropped 'Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead,' featuring six additional tracks (including an extended version of the intro). She, however, did not tour for 'Eternal Sunshine,' though her social media suggests that smaller shows could potentially be in the works. In a statement to Variety, a representative for Grande reinforced her message, claiming that music will always be a focus. 'Ariana's plate is definitely full right now, but she's genuinely enjoying this chapter,' says the rep. 'She's loving the opportunity to dive deeper into acting, and she remains incredibly hands-on with her various businesses. That said, Ariana has always been and continues to be a musician first. The goal is to find a rhythm where all of these creative outlets can coexist, and she's very much in the process of building that balance out.' Grande is currently building on the success of 'Wicked' with the upcoming release of 'Wicked: For Good,' set to hit theaters on November 21. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream

Ariana Grande Drops Teaser for "Brighter Days Ahead" Short Film: Watch

Yara Sameh Ariana Grande's deluxe "Eternal Sunshine" album may promise that brighter days are ahead, but a new teaser for the superstar's accompanying short film is, on the contrary, distinctly dark and moody. In a black-and-white Casablanca-esque clip posted Thursday, a fuzzy string lullaby plays over the sound of seconds ticking by on a stopwatch, which a man holds open on a wooden table. Inside the lid of the watch is a photo of Grande when she was young, at the time missing her front teeth. The Old Hollywood-inspired teaser then cuts to a wide shot of a gentleman in a trench coat and top hat strolling through a street lined with brick European buildings. The clip comes eight days ahead of Grande's "Brighter Days Ahead" short film, which will serve as a companion piece to her "Eternal Sunshine" deluxe album, also dropping March 28. The "Wicked" star co-directed the visual with longtime collaborator Christian Breslauer, who helmed the music videos for "Eternal Sunshine" singles 'Yes, And?,' 'We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)' and 'The Boy Is Mine.' Grande has slowly been rolling out details about the new projects since first announcing the long-awaited "Eternal Sunshine" deluxe release date March 10. Earlier this week, she unveiled the project's tracklist featuring six new songs: 'Intro (End of the World) Extended,' 'Twilight Zone,' 'Warm,' 'Dandelion,' 'Past Life,' and 'Hampstead.' She also previously dropped a teaser video for the short film in which a robotic voice says, 'Welcome back, Peaches,' seemingly confirming that Grande will reprise her character from the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-inspired 'We Can't Be Friends' video in Brighter Days Ahead. Watch Grande's new short film teaser below.
