Singer Daria Yanina broke the nudity rules at Cannes Film Festival when she went braless on the red carpet.
Attending the amfAR Gala, presented by Chopard, at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the Russian musician, flouted this years guidance and wore a sheer dress.
Hours before the two-week festival was due to kick off, organisers issued a statement banning nudity from both the red carpet and other areas of the event - prompting most female guests to play it safe.
But while the move attempted to the stifle the celebrity trend for 'naked dresses,' few have still braved risqué ensembles.
Daria opted for a pale blue chiffon gown, with a mesh top half, which was embellished with silver crystals.

She layered nude underwear beneath the sheer skirt and topped off her outfit with a pair of clear heels.
In a statement before the festival, organisers said: 'For decency reasons, nudity is prohibited on the red carpet, as well as in any other areas of the festival.
'The festival welcoming teams will be obligated to prohibit red carpet access to anyone not respecting these rules.'
The surprise new policy features in a recent festival-goers charter - released with a series of outlines regarding expected public behaviour.
Guests are expected to converge on the Grand Auditorium Louis Lumière for some of the highest profile film screenings across a packed seven day schedule in Cannes.
It's understood that the iconic venue now adopts a more conservative dress code, with suits, dinner jackets and floor-length evening gowns generally favoured over headline grabbing ensembles.
Classic little black dresses, cocktail dresses, pant-suits, dressy tops and elegant sandals, 'with or without a heel', will also be permitted.
While the decision to implement a more stringent policy will be a first, it is not known if French TV broadcasters, wary of airing nudity, played a role in its enforcement.
Major red carpet events, including the Cannes Film Festival, are aired in France by France Télévisions.
Guests are playing it safe – some might say too safe – in strapless gowns that look classic or characterless, depending on your view.

Kimberly, 56, walked the carpet wearing a long-sleeve gown which featured a very revealing top with much of her chest exposed behind a thin veil of mesh fabric.
Floral and silk detailing was the only thing that prevented her baring all at the star-studded Gala.
The waist of the gown was cinched, showing off her physique, while the envelope-style skirt showed off her trim pins with mesh, floral embroidered detailing.
She paired the look with a pair of seriously high, silver bedazzled pumps that were dripping in gems.
The former model completed the bold outfit with a metallic silver clutch by designer Valentino Garavani, whose bags typically retail for thousands of dollars, along with $510 large embellished earrings that appeared to be from Amina Muaddi.
However, it's an ensemble that Kimberly already appeared to have worn once before.
She wore th e bright red gown in an editorial spread last month, as she appeared on the April 2025 cover of Metropolitan Palm Beach, a luxury magazine.
In the picture, Guilfoyle donned the dress, posing with one hand on her hip and giving a sultry look into the camera.
The former Fox News host seems to be bouncing back from heartbreak, as DailyMail.com broke the news that she had split from Don Jr. last winter.
Around the time of their split, an insider told People that 'Don Jr. has been telling people for months that Kim is so uptight and always dresses so professionally in these kinds of dresses and high heels, and never looks relaxed or casual.'
Guilfoyle and Don Jr. had been dating since around 2018, shortly after he had split from his first wife, Vanessa Trump.
One source familiar with the family told DailyMail.com at the time, 'There is no more Kimberly and Don – at least not romantically.'
However, they insisted that there was no bad blood between them, and that it was an amicable breakup.
