Why Rabiot could return to Juventus, Inter or Roma, but not Milan
With Olympique Marseille officially announcing Adrien Rabiot is for sale, it's reported he was offered to Inter, Roma and even Juventus, but Milan have no room for the midfielder. The France international has a long history of drama in his career and this is just the latest, because he has been excluded from the Marseille squad by the club and coach Roberto De Zerbi. The decision was made following a locker room altercation with teammate Jonathan Rowe, who has also been put on the transfer market. Now a return to Serie A is entirely possible for Rabiot, who after all spent five years at Juventus until letting his contract run down in July 2024. (Photo by) Milan would've been the obvious choice for the presence of his old coach Max Allegri, but with Luka Modric, Ardon Jashari and Samuele Ricci all signed this summer, there simply isn't room in a team that is out of European football. FCInterNews suggest that Inter were offered the opportunity to sign the 30-year-old, and are giving it some thought, as their midfield is in flux. Roma are another alternative, although they seem to be trying to lower the average age of the squad. It is worth noting that the reasons he left have been lifted, namely director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli, and his salary worth €7.5m per season. Damien Comolli is now in charge of the Bianconeri's transfer strategy, and the player's wages at Marseille are said to be worth €3.5m per season plus €2m in performance-related bonuses.

Report – Rayo Vallecano Overtake Olympiacos In Race To Sign Inter Milan Flop
La Liga side Rayo Vallecano have reportedly leapfrogged Olympiacos in the race to sign Inter Milan outcast Tomas Palacios. According to Greek publication Athlosnews via FCInterNews, the Spaniards are now the front-runners to land the Argentine. Despite signing the 22-year-old only last summer, Inter have already put the out-of-favor defender up for sale. Indeed, the Nerazzurri paid Independiente Rivadavia around €6.5 million to land Tomas Palacios. Although he failed to impress, Inter could still profit from his departure. (Photo by) Rayo Vallecano are in the lead, but they have yet to agree on terms with Inter. According to the report, it may take up to €8 million to lure the young center-back away from San Siro. However, they would ideally sign Palacios on loan with an option to buy. Though that's not an ideal option for Inter, they have limited options. Meanwhile, they are on the market for defensive reinforcements, with Kim Min-jae emerging as a concrete target for late summer.
