SFA fess up to Denmark ticket bungle as fuming Tartan Army sent back to square one for World Cup qualifiers
The Scottish FA has admitted a "technical issue" means they will have restart the ticket sales process for the upcoming clash with Denmark.
Steve Clarke 's side begin their quest to reach the 2026 World Cup finals in North America and Mexico next summer with a trip to Copenhagen.
The Danes are favourites to top a tough group that also includes Greece and Moldova.
But fans who thought they had secured their briefs for the match at Parken Stadion were forced to think again after Scotland Supporters Club members who didn't have the required number of points were able to buy tickets.
As a result, all purchases made on Tuesday have been cancelled and refunded before the sale starts all over again on Wednesday morning.
A statement read: "The Scottish FA is aware of a technical error that occurred during this morning's ticket sale for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifying match against Denmark, which allowed purchase by some Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) members who were not eligible during the window that was reserved for those with 32-21 Points.
"As a result, we will regrettably need to restart the sales process from scratch in the interest of fairness, with any purchase that was made today being cancelled and refunded.
"The new sale will commence at 10am on Wednesday, 23 July, with a full schedule listed below.
"The Scottish FA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters."

"Your achievements continue to inspire countless girls and women across the nation, proving once again that with dedication and teamwork, anything is possible. Good luck, England. May you roar to victory once more. Charles R." Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said: "Into the final and inspiring the nation. Let's bring it home." Meanwhile, cricketer Joe Root wished the Lionesses' the "very best of luck" in an online message, adding: "It's been great to watch you play throughout the tournament." Olympic 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson said the team has "absolutely smashed it," adding that "everybody is so proud of you". The Lionesses will be looking for redemption against Spain, who edged them 1-0 in the 2023 Women's World Cup final. England boss Sarina Wiegman said the team is "going to do everything we can to win it" and she would prefer to avoid a "nerve-wracking" match.

The Lionesses take on Spain in Basel, Switzerland, hoping to lift the Euro trophy once again, three years on from their maiden success. Caroline Wozniacki has welcomed her third child with retired NBA forward and husband David Lee, the tennis star has announced. Wozniacki, 35, shared the heartwarming news on Instagram three months after revealing that she and Lee, 42, were expecting another baby. By June, less than a full month after Stoll was served, the filing was withdrawn and the couple have remained together. A sporting super-couple, McIlroy and Wozniacki were together between 2011 and 2013 before he ended the relationship when he said he was not ready for marriage. The duo had sent out wedding invitations after a New Year's Eve proposal in Sydney and Wozniacki posted: 'Happy New Year everyone! Rory and I started 2014 with a bang! I said YES!!!!' But only months later, McIlroy changed his mind. At the time, he put out a statement, reading: 'There is no right way to end a relationship that has been so important to two people. 'The problem is mine. The wedding invitations issued at the weekend made me realise that I wasn't ready for all that marriage entails. 'I wish Caroline all the happiness she deserves and thank her for the great times we've had. I will not be saying anything more about our relationship in any setting.'
