Boots shopper are snapping up a half price fragrance in time for Father's Day and it has rave reviews. Jimmy Choo Man Blue is usually £78 a bottle but has dropped down to £39 for a 100ml bottle.
It opens up with notes of lavender, black pepper, clary sage and bergamot before settling into a heart of ambergris, leather, cypress, apple and pineapple. There's a warm base of vanilla, sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli.
It's a great option for fans of Eros by Versace (£39.99 for 30ml) who are looking for a slightly better value product. The scent has also proven popular with those who enjoy Explorer by Montblanc (£39 for 30ml).
Man Blue has brought in an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 from over 100 reviews, with 98% of shoppers saying that they would recommend it. One wrote: "This is by far my favourite scent whether it be for everyday use or special occasion. This is gonna be my signature scent! This one was love at first sniff."
Another swears it's a compliment magnet, writing: "This perfume is fantastic! It has the perfect combo of sweet and spicy scent. I've worn it several times now and I get at least 3 compliments every time! Highly recommend!"
A disappointed shopper found the longevity lacking, penning: "I want to love it. It has a great scent. It's on par for what I like. My biggest gripe is that it fades fast. 'He lives in Bath and I live in North Manchester so its about five hours and we meet in Birmingham to exchange things and the kids. 'He's throwing things in my boot and I just started taking the mickey out of his bucket hat to lighten the mood. 'We just try and not be in the same house together because the children are the priority and I want a good environment for them and I don't want them to see us arguing.' The actress recently admitted that she's 'really struggling financially' after making a fortune from appearing on the ITV soap and various reality TV shows. Amid her struggles, Helen has reduced the asking price of her six-bedroom detached home, where she once lives with Scott, on the outskirts of Bolton. It was initially on the market for £1.5 million, but it's been dropped by £305,000 - a steep fall of 20 per cent with a new asking price of £1.19million. The three-floored home, spanning over 5,000 square feet, was put on the market in the middle of May. Depending on the size of the mortgage, Helen could still be set for a tidy windfall as she bought it with her ex partner, footballer Scott Sinclair, for £840,000 in June 2021. According to the brochure, two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and living rooms - one of which is full of designer handbags, clothes and shoes, 'which really gives it the wow factor'. Helen recently revealed that despite the house already being on the market, she doesn't know where she will move to next - admitting London might be too expensive. She said of the future move: 'We are selling the house now which will be nice to have a change. Because I was with Scott for so long I was used to moving house a lot (because he is a footballer) so it's normal for me. 'I could now never stay in one place for too long I don't think. I like a change, I love it.'
