Daily Mirrora day ago

Former TOWIE star, Mark Wright, is looking forward to his first Father's Day this weekend after his wife, Michelle Keegan, gave birth to the couple's daughter, three months ago
Mark Wright has lifted the lid on the plans for his first Father's Day after becoming a proud dad to daughter, Palma, three months ago. The former TOWIE star, 38, and wife, Michelle Keegan, also 38, said they'd found a "new love" after becoming parents for the first time, posting an adorable snap of Palma's tiny hand on Instagram when she was born.
After enjoying a lavish holiday to Spain this week with their newborn, where the couple also spent time with Mark's sister, Jessica Wright, the Heart FM presenter said he can't wait for Sunday as he gets to celebrate Father's Day for the first time. Opening up about his plans for the special day, Mark said he'd start with an "unreal" breakfast, sharing: "I've only been a dad for three months, but this is what the perfect Father's Day looks like for me..."

Speaking to the Daily Mail he continued: "For breakfast, an unreal spread of fresh berries and croissants, pancakes and even waffles. With maple syrup, my favourite. Just like being at a five star hotel.
"For lunch imagine being spoilt with a best ever burger. That's exceptional."
Moving onto desert, Mark said: 'It's my first father's day and that means I deserve a treat. Collin the caterpillar? Yes, please. They're for the kids, but my baby, she's not on solids yet so I'll take care of it."
Shouting off camera he added: "Stay on the milks, Palma!"
Mark, Michelle and their daughter jetted off to Spain recently for Palma's first trip abroad as they told fans it was "Princess P's first holiday".
Michelle looked sensational on her first sun-kissed holiday as a mum, modelling a selection of dresses from her own Very collection. The Coronation Street star showed off her enviable wardrobe while posed to perfection in Marbella.

The actress told fans she was "obsessed" with her new summer dresses, particularly a floor-length brown frock with gold shell detail.
Captioning a snap of herself in the dress while posing under the Spanish sun at the swanky £300-a-night SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort Hotel, she mused: "One of my fave dresses from this collection, so simple but yet so effective. I'm obsessed with the gold shell detail."
Fans couldn't get enough of Michelle - and her wardrobe- as many flocked to Instagram, praising the actress for how good she looked.

One gushed: 'How does anyone look that amazing after just having a baby?', while another joked: 'You look absolutely stunning…I am still trying to get my post-baby figure back, and my baby is 17 this year!'
Also praising his wife, Mark said Michelle was a 'superhero' as he told Heart FM co-host, Olly Murs: 'It's the biggest achievement of my life it's all I think about but obviously, hats go off to my wife she is an absolute superhuman, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world."

Tributes paid to Britons feared killed in Air India plane crash

Fiongal and Jamie Greenlaw-Meek, who run a spiritual wellness centre, were said to be among the dead. The pair laughed and joked as they filmed a video of themselves at the airport before taking off. (PA Graphics) In an earlier Instagram post they told of their 'mind-blowing' trip to India and their intention to make a vlog about it. Mr Greenlaw is said to have appeared on ITV's This Morning earlier this year to talk about wellness. Former editor of the show Martin Frizell praised his 'vibrancy' and 'enthusiasm'. 'So so sad to hear that Fiongal Greenlaw Meek and his partner are reported to be among the passengers and crew killed today on board the Air India flight bound for Gatwick,' he said in an Instagram post. 'I remember his visit to the studio in January, he was passionate about auras and although I'm a sceptical sort his vibrancy and sheer enthusiasm won folk over. 'And I know for a fact that he hoped to use his appearance on This Morning to build his wellness brand, he had a great future ahead of him. 'Thoughts are with his family and friends and those of his partner Jamie.' The Greenlaw-Meeks were running the Wellness Foundry in London, which offers psychic readings, tarot, reiki and yoga. The firm is included in Time Out's top places in the capital for tarot readings. The Wellness Foundry also has a podcast called Spirit Level, which the website says is a 'guiding light on the journey to holistic well-being and spiritual enlightenment'. The Gloucester Muslim Community group offered 'sincere and deepest condolences' after Akeel Nanabawa, his wife Hannaa and their daughter Sara were reported to be among the victims. 'During this moment of overwhelming sorrow, our hearts go out to all those left behind,' a statement said. 'No words can truly ease the pain of such a profound loss, but we pray that the family may find solace in the tremendous outpouring of compassion and solidarity from communities across the world.' Raj Mishra, the mayor of Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, called for people to come together as he announced the deaths of three people from his community. 'Among those lost were Raxa Modha, infant Rudra Modha, and Ms K Mistri, all from our Wellingborough community,' he said. 'I extend my deepest condolences to their families, friends and all those affected by this heartbreaking event. 'May their memories be a blessing, and may we come together to support one another in this time of grief.' Briton Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, is believed to be the only survivor of the crash. Speaking outside the family home in Leicester, his brother, Nayan Kumar Ramesh, 27, said: 'We were just shocked as soon as we heard it. 'I last spoke to him yesterday morning. We're devastated, just devastated. 'He said, 'I have no idea how I exited the plane'.' Mr Ramesh's older brother Ajay was also aboard the flight. Another of Mr Ramesh's relatives, Jay, said the survivor spoke to his father after the crash and asked after his brother. Jay told PA: 'After the crash he spoke to his dad worrying about his brother saying, 'Where's Ajay'?'

Bridgerton star describes horrific 'life and death' moment she fought off thief

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Bridgerton actress Genevieve Chenneour has shared insight into her horrific experience as she bravely defended herself from a prolific thief. The 27-year-old star's real-life drama was thoroughly modern as she fought off a phone thief in Joe & the Juice. Chenneour, who plays Clara Livingston in Netflix's beloved show, revealed on This Morning the moment which turned into a 'life and death' situation. She shared: 'I had a bit of a sixth sense that something wasn't quite right, as woman you have that kind of intuition, and I could feel people moving around me in a different way but I only became aware of it once the incident had happened.' Chenneour was waiting for her order at the chain cafe on Kensington High Street, London when the thief, who the Daily Mail identified as Zacariah Boulares, 18, quietly snuck up behind her and grabbed her phone, which was placed on the counter. Immediately, the actress sprang into action as she spun around and grabbed his arm while another man came to her aid. 'I did feel they were going back and forth trying to find a target, so they chose me,' she explained CCTV footage showed her freeing her phone from his grasp as she pushed him to the ground and fought back against the hooded criminal. 'I don't know if I would advise anybody else to do it,' Chenneour warned. 'I think I have very quick reactions, thanks to having three brothers growing up and I'm an aviated carded boxer. 'I think it just was an instinct, I also do a lot of fight training for work and acting… I thought that was a normal reaction and I read all the comments [from the CCTV footage] and realised, actually a lot of people would just let them take the phone.' At one point another man threatened to stab Chenneour, turning the incident into 'a real matter' which was 'life and death'. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video She continued: 'So, I did things like, I remember kicking him back with my leg to create space in case he had a weapon on him… It was just a life changing, crazy moment.' In court on May 29, Boulares pleaded guilty to stealing her phone as well as assaulting another customer. The actress previously told the Mail: 'They didn't expect me to stand up for myself – but I did.' 'I was left with a concussion just before the Screen Actors Guild Awards and since then, I've felt constantly on edge,' she shared. 'Even my dog was traumatised – now, if anyone touches me, he panics and tries to protect me. Getting a coffee shouldn't be something you need your wits about you for.' Chenneour added that she was thankful to the staff in store who were 'incredible' during the incident, and she has returned to see since. She retrained as an actress after winning an Olympic scholarship to train for Team GB's artistic swimming team at the age of 15. Unfortunately, an injury prevented her from going pro but after being a stunt double for underwater scenes in Gateway To The West she landed a role on Bridgerton. Boulares reportedly also threatened Aled Jones with a machete 18 months prior, as he stole the star's £17,000 Rolex watch while in West London. He was jailed for 14 months in a young offenders centre after the incident in October 2023, getting released 10 months early. At the hearing regarding Chenneour's case, he also admitted to stealing a handbag at a pizza restaurant in London's West End in January this year. In a message on her Instagram, the Bridgerton debutante thanked fans for their support after the attack. 'I'm okay and incredibly grateful he won't be able to harm anyone else,' she said. 'I am, however, finding it difficult to feel safe going out – especially after being repeatedly threatened with being stabbed in the face.' This second man has been released due to a lack of evidence and won't be going to court, according to the star. A spokesman for the Met Police said: 'Police were called to a restaurant on Kensington High Street on Saturday, 8 February following reports of a theft and an assault. 'CCTV showed the suspect stealing a phone from the table and then assaulting a separate member of the public who confronted him. More Trending 'The victim of the assault was kicked and punched before the suspect left the premises. 'CCTV enquiries identified Zacariah Boulares as the suspect and he was arrested. Boulares, 18, was charged with common assault and theft.' View More » He will be sentenced later this month. Got a story?
