Three arrested
Three men who were in the area at the time of the crash were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.A 53-year-old from Whittle-le-Woods in Lancashire, a 57-year-old man from Middlewich, and a 46-year-old man from Congleton - both in Cheshire - have all been released under investigation pending further inquiries, police have said."Of course, our thoughts remain with Lyndon's family, with the woman receiving treatment in hospital, and the loved ones of the motorcyclist who also died," said Det Sgt Joe Ghigi."If you witnessed anything or have any footage which would assist our investigation, I would urge you to make contact with the police as soon as possible."

A WOMAN in her 80s has died and six others have been rushed to hospital after a horror car crash involving three cars and a lorry. Police were called to the A23 Horley Road, in Redhill, Surrey, at around 8.30am on Saturday, August 9. An air ambulance transported one passenger, a woman in her 80s, to hospital with life-threatening injuries. She tragically passed away a short while later. Paramedics also rushed six other people to hospital. "A passenger in one of the cars, a woman in her 80s, who was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries, has sadly passed away. "Our thoughts remain with her family and friends. Six other people were also taken to hospital. "A 25-year-old man from East Grinstead was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by careless driving. Man dies in hospital after fall from electric scooter
A man has died after falling from an electric scooter in Co Antrim. The 44-year-old died from injuries suffered in the single vehicle incident in Lisburn on Saturday. Advertisement Police attended after receiving a report at about 6.45pm of the incident in the Ravernet Road area. Officers attended and the man was taken to hospital.
