Young Scooter Dies On 39th Birthday, Hip-Hop Community Reacts
Tragedy struck the Atlanta Hip-Hop scene as rapper Young Scooter tragically died on his 39th birthday reportedly following a confrontation with Atlanta police. The 'Jugg King' artist, neé Kenneth Bailey, allegedly attempted to flee on foot when officers responded to reports of gunfire and alleged abuse against a woman on Friday (March 28).
Authorities stated that Scooter injured his leg while attempting to jump a fence. He was later transported to Grady Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The exact cause of death remains undisclosed, pending an autopsy conducted on Saturday (March 29), but during a press conference, Lieutenant Andrew Smith provided details on the incident. 'Once officers arrived, they knocked on the door. A male opened the door and immediately shut the door on the officers. During [the officers'] process of [then] establishing the perimeter, two males fled out of the rear of the house,' he said.
He further explained, 'One male returned back into the house. The other male jumped two fences as he was fleeing. When officers located him on the other side of the fence, he appeared to have suffered an injury to his leg. Officers rendered aid, and he was transported to Grady Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.'
He also clarified that Scooter's injury 'was sustained not via the officers on scene' but occurred while he 'was fleeing.'
As news of his untimely death spread, an outpouring of tributes from the Hip-Hop community highlighted Scooter's deep influence on Atlanta's rap culture. Playboi Carti took to Instagram, posting a photo of Scooter with the caption, 'I GREW UP ON DIS SH*T SMH RIP,' as Quavo shared heartbreak emojis on X (formerly Twitter) alongside the words, 'Ion understand.'
Meek Mill, who collaborated with Scooter on the 2017 track 'Hustlin,' expressed his grief, writing, 'RIP TO SCOOTER……. CRAZY TEARS FOR YOU!!!!!!!' He continued, 'Rip young scooter a Atl generational leader that help keep a lot of energy pumping out and into Atl….. prayers to your kids family and the whole freebandz family! I love you and god bless your soul!!!'
Producer ATL Jacob also credited Scooter with inspiring his iconic producer tag, mourning his loss by saying, 'Wtf not scooter man wtf. ATL Jacob ATL Jacob came from Young Scooter man brudda you forever Legendary.'
Boosie Badazz, Lloyd Banks, Sonny Digital, and many others also paid their respects on social media, reflecting on Scooter's legacy as a musical force who helped shape Atlanta's Hip-Hop sound.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing remains ongoing.

Kris Jenner Reacts To Kylie Jenner's Boob Job Comment
Kris Jenner commented after Kylie Jenner revealed the plastic surgeon behind her breast augmentation. Earlier this week, Kylie surprised many by responding to a TikTok and revealing the exact procedure and doctor (Garth Fisher) she had. Kylie has been open about having had at least one boob job when she was 19, which she has since expressed regret about. Perhaps the reveal of Garth is unsurprising, given that he refers to himself as "The Kardashian Family Plastic Surgeon" on his website (he also did Kourtney's breast augmentation). Indeed, the site reads, "The Kardashian family likes to work with Dr. Fisher for his caring attention and outstanding, red carpet ready results." However, Garth still took to Instagram to write, "I'm honored to be acknowledged by Kylie—her kind words were unexpected but truly appreciated. Patient confidentiality has always been the foundation of my practice. Over 3 decades, we've never had a single breach. My entire team is thoroughly trained and bound by strict NDAs and confidentiality agreements." "This is more than policy—it's our culture. HIPAA (patient privacy) laws are in place to protect patients, and I will never discuss any details of a procedure or procedures unless the patient has chosen to share them or given me permission to discuss. Every patient is unique. This isn't 'cookbook' surgery—it's thoughtful, personalized care," he continued. But then who should pop into the comments? None other than Kris herself. She wrote, "Garth you are such a superstar class act!! You did my first facelift in 2011… 14 years ago!!! and made it the most amazing experience ever and even gave us access to film so that others could get a peek inside what it's like and not be afraid… you have taken great care of us always and remain such a close and treasured friend!! Such an incredible talent!! ❤️🙏🏼." First facelift. Here's the thing: I don't think the Kar-Jenners really ever do something out of the pure kindness of their hearts. They've lied and obfuscated about the cosmetic work they've had done in the past. Which makes me think their sudden candor is a sign of something else being afoot. We'll probably have to tune into season 1 million of The Kardashians to get clarity on that one.

‘The White Lotus' Stars Walton Goggins And Aimee Lou Wood Reveal The Truth Behind Instagram ‘Feud'
Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins Rick and Chelsea, the tragic lovers from the third season of HBO's The White Lotus, were fan favorites during the show's run earlier this year. The actors who played them also became the center of much gossip after the season came to a close. This was partly due to comments made by Jason Isaac, who played troubled investment banker Timothy Ratliff, in the third season. The cast lived on-set in Thailand for months during the shoot, and Isaac said that tensions could sometimes run high, noting that there were 'fewer deaths but just as much drama' behind the scenes. Rumors of a split between Walton Goggins, who played Rick, and Aimee Lou Wood, who played Chelsea, reached fever pitch when fans noticed that Goggins had unfollowed his co-star on Instagram. Fandom is always thirsty for this kind of drama, but perhaps especially so for a series like The White Lotus, which is all about scandal, betrayal and the woes of the rich and famous. There was blood in the water, and the sharks came circling. Goggins also didn't join his fellow cast members at the finale event, watching it alone instead, though he was in New York for a late-night appearance at the time. I never commented on these rumors. Tawdry gossip has never been something I feel the need or desire to comment on. Gossip journalism is certainly big business, but it's not my cup of tea. I am happy, however, to report on the outcome. In a lengthy interview with the two co-stars over at Variety, they clear the air and put the rumors to bed once and for all. After a discussion of the infamous SNL sketch that mocked Wood's appearance, and Goggins' regret at posting about it on social media, they clear the air. From the interview: He also addressed the NYT interview in which he refused to answer multiple questions about the supposed feud, saying he wouldn't answer them without Wood present. When Wood is asked about the Instagram unfollowing she replies: Goggins makes it clear that saying farewell to co-stars is just part of his process. When he left the show Justified "I went up to Tim [Olyphant], and I hugged him and I said, 'I love you, and I hope I see you in rooms for the rest of my life. I didn't talk to him for almost two years. I've done that with every single thing that I've done.' He continues: It's all part of his 'catharsis' according to Goggins. He would have done the same thing if he'd been following Olyphant or his The Shield co-star Michael Chiklis on Instagram at the time. Still, during the interview he gets up, grabs his phone and follows Wood on Instagram. 'It's all so ridiculou. It's just a part of me just saying goodbye to this character so that now Aimee and I will be friends for *#$&ing ever.' Read the full interview at Variety. Read my review of the Season 3 finale of The White Lotus here. So now that the rumors have been put to bed, can we talk about something important again? Like where we think the next season of The White Lotus will take place? I'm hoping it's Africa or maybe Eastern Europe. Or perhaps somewhere in South America or Mexico. It's a big world, after all.

McDonald's reveals official date for fan favorite Snack Wrap launch
Many popular chicken chains thought they had gotten ahead of the McDonald's Snack Wrap rerelease by launching their own, but none compare to the original's fame. The McDonald's Snack Wrap was introduced nationwide in 2006 and quickly became a fan favorite. However, after nearly a decade, the company ultimately discontinued it due to operational issues in 2016. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter The Snack Wraps consist of crispy chicken, shredded cheese, and lettuce, all wrapped inside a tortilla. Although this might have been the best decision for the business at the time, customers begged McDonald's to bring back the Snack Wrap for years, causing the fast-food chain to return it for a limited time across select locations nationwide in 2020. Related: McDonald's teases return of item fans have long clamored for But fans' joy was short-lived because the Snack Wrap again disappeared from the McDonald's menu by the end of that year. It didn't provide a specific date for the relaunch, however. Related: McDonald's announces return of fan favorite item after nearly a decade Two months later, McDonald's made a cryptic post on all its social media platforms with the date "snack wraps 0x.14.2025," building excitement around the highly anticipated release. Still, McDonald's didn't confirm any rumors. After months of teasing the Snack Wrap relaunch, McDonald's has finally announced the official date, and it's only a few weeks away. The fast-food giant revealed via an Instagram post featuring a carousel of photos that Snack Wraps will be available nationwide across all McDonald's locations beginning July 10, writing "snack wrap 07.10.2025." However, this official date doesn't match the tease McDonald's posted a few weeks back. The photos explained the surprising change of plans, with screenshots of a typed Notes app note.
