Devastation as EastEnders fan-favourite reconsiders return

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) has been left devastated in EastEnders, after learning daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) has postponed her return to Walford. Lily made a temporary departure in May, after realising that she needed time away from her mum in the wake of her step-father Martin Fowler's (James Bye) death. Martin tragically passed away in February, falling victim to the horrific explosion that tore through The Queen Vic pub. There seemed to be a glimmer of hope as he made his exit towards the barrel store with Stacey, but a beam fell from the ceiling and crushed him. As he lay dying, he confessed his love for Stace – telling her that his reunion with Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) was a mistake. In the aftermath, she struggled immensely with her grief, neglecting to care for Lily and her younger siblings Arthur and Hope. Lily even turned to drink and drugs to ease her own pain. A vicious argument between mother and daughter ensued, and Lily declared that she was packing her bags and going to stay with birth father Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott). In tonight's episode, Stacey was thrilled to hear that her eldest was coming home. Amid the buzz and excitement, she noticed that a number of market traders were staring in her direction and gossiping. But what about? To her horror, it became apparent that someone had leaked all of her SecretCam content – the BBC soap's dupe version of OnlyFans – online, for all to see. And given we saw troubled Joel Marshall (Max Murray) accessing her profile last week, it's probably who we'd put our money on being responsible! In fact, following their earlier run-in, Stace' reckoned it was him too. She charged into the caff and outright accused him, with dad Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) leaping to his defence. Joel swore that he wasn't responsible, and back at home, willingly handed over his laptop to prove that he didn't leak the adult material. More Trending He also told Ross and Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) to check his deleted files, as they wouldn't find anything that would incriminate him. Despite that, Stacey remained convinced – especially when she realised that the wording in the online posts matched what he'd said to her in person during a verbal attack. To make matters worse for poor Stace', she then discovered that Lily wasn't returning home as she was too embarrassed by the revenge porn situation. Alien: Earth cast spill on 'sweetest vegan' cast as horror series' new Xenomorph

Alien: Earth cast lift lid on 'sweetest vegan in the world' cast as sci-fi horror's new Xenomorph The cast of the new Alien TV series, Alien: Earth, have admitted that they couldn't help but giggle at the man inside the iconic Xenomorph suit on set The cast of Alien: Earth have disclosed that the performer behind the legendary Xenomorph costume was far from menacing when the cameras stopped rolling. ‌ Crafted by acclaimed Fargo creator Noah Hawley, this fresh FX series launches this week on Disney+ across the UK, functioning as a prequel to Ridley Scott's 1979 science fiction horror masterpiece. ‌ The show's diverse ensemble features both emerging talent and established performers, including Timothy Olyphant, Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther and Babou Ceesay. ‌ Naturally, no instalment in the Alien saga would be complete without the spine-chilling extraterrestrial creatures, and Hawley has stressed a commitment to authentic practical effects to deliver the terror. During a preview at Alien: Earth's London premiere, the cast disclosed that performer Cameron Brown was predominantly housed within the classic dark costume that has been petrifying audiences for more than four decades, reports the Mirror. The terrifying sci-fi horror franchise returns this week (Image: FX) ‌ "It was Cameron Brown, who's a vegan," Ceesay revealed. "Dressed in an eight-foot suit. "Snarling in your face, K-Y jelly dripping out of his mouth. Yeah, scary." Nevertheless, Ceesay and his fellow cast members couldn't suppress their laughter whilst fondly recalling their experiences with Brown during filming. ‌ Lawther remarked: "It's really easy to run away scared from a Xenomorph when it's really a man who's a Xenomorph chasing you." The performers also disclosed that their alien-costumed colleague would regularly pause for snacks of carrot sticks and hummus, creating a sharp contrast to his carnivorous on-screen character. During a panel discussion at Comic-Con's Hall H, lead actress Chandler previously confessed she was "giddy" to be pursued by a Xenomorph, describing Brown as "the sweetest person in the world", according to GoldDerby. ‌ Lawther concurred at the time: "There's something hysterical about the fearsomeness of the Xenomorph, but then he takes off his head, and he's from New Zealand, and he doesn't eat meat. "If you think me and Sydney are soft-spoken, just wait till you meet the Xenomorph." Devoted enthusiasts of the original film by director Ridley Scott, along with its later sequels, will be delighted to learn that Hawley utilised practical effects and sets wherever possible. Expanding on the benefits of practical techniques over CGI, he said: "I think it's meaningful, both to the cast and, I think audiences know when something's real or not real. ‌ "We've gotten very good at tricking them, but, usually, what you need is some realistic element in the shot. "The thing with horror is your imagination does most of the work for you, so you don't want to see the monster for too long. You want to see the shadows, you want to see the open door. "The shot is half a second and you've got a tail on a fishing line and that's probably gonna work, you know what I mean?" ‌ Critics are claiming the Alien franchise is stronger than ever with the fresh TV prequel, but will it convince fans who believe the Xenomorphs should have remained in space? Find out soon. Alien: Earth premieres Wednesday, 13th August on Disney+. Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher spotted at luxury Scots hotel as he stops to chat to fans

The Oasis frontman, 52, stopped and chatted to fans whilst visiting Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterarder yesterday. Liam kicked off the first of three massive gigs in the capital city on Friday alongside brother Noel, 58 - ending a 16-year wait for the return of the Be Here Now stars. The Gallagher brothers made their long-awaited return to Scotland playing a whopping 23 songs from their impressive back catalogue, including Roll With It, Stand By Me, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger. Around 140,000 revellers enjoyed the hotly-anticipated sell-out gigs across Friday and Saturday at Scotland's home of rugby. And another 70,000 are expected to descend on the stadium on Tuesday night for Oasis' final show. But while the brothers were enjoying some time off, fans were excited to see Liam out and about at Gleneagles Hotel. They say don't meet your heroes, well, if your hero is Liam Gallagher, then I say you absolutely have to! Jonathan Dunn Fan Jonathan Dunn was out walking with his two kids, Harrison, 17, and Saffie, seven, when he noticed Liam on the grounds from a distance. The dad, who lives in Auchterarder, said that the singer was with his fiancée and manager Debbie Gwyther at the time when they approached him. And he hailed him for being "warm and funny" after he stopped to chat with the family and take pictures with him. Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Jonathan said: "We were walking on the lawn and I said to Harrison, 'I'm sure that's Liam Gallagher over there?' Liam Gallagher in fresh foul-mouthed rant at Edinburgh Council during Oasis night two "I've been a huge fan for 30 years and seen them countless times over the years, including twice already on this tour." He added: "I asked if I could please bother him for a photo, and he couldn't have been more friendly. "I told him I was at Murrayfield on Friday and he said, 'youse lot are off yer f***in heads!' "I introduced him to Harrison, who said to him, 'Dad took me to Heaton Park a couple of weeks ago, it was insane!' "To which he replied, 'It's you lot who are insane, I didn't do anything!' "He then said to Harrison, 'Come on, you get in for a photo too,' and gave him a first pump. "They say don't meet your heroes, well, if your hero is Liam Gallagher, then I say you absolutely have to!" SOME MIGHT PAY OASIS fans are set to pump an astonishing £136million into the Scots economy - double the boost from Taylor Swift's gigs. More than 200,000 will flock to the capital to see the band, led by Noel and Liam Gallagher - and experts say they'll splurge cash in local hotels, bars and shops. One said: "It's a major economic event." Research from One loans firm Novuna Personal Finance estimates mad-for-it diehards will fork out £32million on food and drink, £27.5million on shops and leisure along with £6.2million for their accommodation. When added to travel, concert tickets and merchandise, the total spend will be £136.6million. Novuna marketing chief Theresa Lindsay said last night: "The return of Oasis to Edinburgh is a landmark moment. "With fans expected to spend well over £100million in just three nights, it's proof that live music powers our cities far beyond the arena gates." The cash bonanza will be despite city councillors describing Oasis fans as 'fat, old, drunk and lairy'. Both Jonathan and Harrison shared the snaps they got with the iconic rocker with followers on social media. And fellow fans flocked to the comments to share their excitement. One person said: "So jealous. This is AMAZING!!!" Another added: "This is soo f****** cool". Someone else posted: "That's brilliant". While a fourth wrote: "Nice one". And a fifth chimed in: "I would break down if I ran into him, congrats".
