Rebounding from their 11.8% decline last week, shares of Tempus AI (NASDAQ: TEM) are starting June on an auspicious note. In addition to the company dropping two announcements over last weekend, investors responded to TD Cowen commentary addressing Spruce Point's recently released critical report of the company that's specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for the healthcare industry.
According to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence, shares of Tempus AI have risen 12% from the end of trading last Friday through 11:37 a.m. ET this morning.
"Not much to see here folks. Move along." In essence, that was the response to Spruce Point's critical report on Tempus AI that TD Cowen provided on Monday. According to The Fly, analysts at TD Cowen acknowledged that many of the issues that Spruce Point raised were already known and others were exaggerated -- though it did claim that there were some issues worth further investigation.
Along with the commentary regarding the critical report, TD Cowen remained unchanged with its buy rating on Tempus AI stock and $62 price target.
In addition to raising doubts about Tempus AI's financial reporting, the critical report that Spruce Point issued last week questioned the nature of the company's collaboration with AstraZeneca.
While it's certainly an encouraging sign for current shareholders to see that TD Cowen is unmoved in its opinion despite Spruce Point's report, prospective investors may want to keep their distance for the time being. Investors will likely have to wait until August for the second-quarter 2025 financial results, but in the meantime, those eager to buy shares may want to see if there are additional developments before adding a position.

Likewise, also expect to see iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26. A fresh new look The tech behemoth is strongly rumored to unveil its biggest visual design overhaul since iOS 7 and which Bloomberg has claimed will 'fundamentally change the look of the operating systems and make Apple's various software platforms more consistent.' So get ready to cast your eyes upon a fresh new look for all of the on-screen elements linked to Apple's many products. Apple Intelligence updates The keynote will be another chance for Apple to offer some clarity on its approach to artificial intelligence, as up to now the company has been widely ridiculed for failing to deliver compelling AI features while rivals like Google and Microsoft race ahead. For example, Apple could introduce a new AI-powered battery management tool as well as a health-coaching feature that digs into your fitness data to offer personalized guidance. And hopefully much more besides … A bonus reason! Apple is widely rumored to be introducing a dedicated gaming app that could replace the Game Center. The app will serve as a central hub for launching games, tracking achievements, connecting with friends, and discovering new titles across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. The app is also expected to provide editorial content and may integrate with social features like iMessage and FaceTime for better communication between players. Instagram Says Trial Reels Have Helped Creators Significantly Increase Their Reach

Instagram's trial Reels have been available for just on six months now, and IG is keen to get more creators trying out its audience sampling feature, in order to help boost content performance. As you can see in this example sequence, trial Reels are shown to a selection of users who don't follow your profile, which can give you early insight into the likely performance of your Reel. To be clear, trial Reels are not displayed to your followers, either in the main Feed or via the Reels tab. The idea is that this gives you an unbiased assessment of content quality, while also helping you potentially reach a broader audience. Which some have also used as a growth hack of sorts, in that you can get your content in front of a broader audience in the app by only showing your Reels to people who don't follow you. Within that, you can also re-post older posts as trial Reels as well, and some creators have found this to be an effective way to build their audience. Another element to consider. 'Approximately 24 hours after sharing a trial reel, you can view engagement data, such as views, likes, comments and shares. The more trial reels you create, the more insights you'll have to compare against other trial reels and the more understanding you'll have on what might perform best.' You're limited to 20 trial Reels per day, but outside of that, you can test and measure your initial Reels' response, which can then help to inform your content strategy. And for those who are using trial Reels, they have proven effective: 'After trying trial reels, 40% of creators started posting reels more often and of those who did, 80% saw an increase in reels reach from non-followers.' So it can help to guide your thinking on what to post, while you can also easily convert trial Reels into regular posts, which will then be shared with your followers. It could be a valuable tool in your IG strategy, and as Instagram notes, many creators are finding this a valuable tool for audience sampling. And IG clearly wants more creators to try it out. If you are thinking about adopting trial Reels, you need to have a professional account (though IG also says that some creators without a professional account may have access to trial reels as part of ongoing testing).
