Shikhar Dhawan announces debut autobiography

New Delhi [India], July 1 (ANI): Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has officially announced his much-anticipated debut autobiography, 'The One', through a heartfelt and introspective Instagram reel that has already resonated with fans across the country. Known for his flamboyant strokeplay, signature moustache twirl, and unwavering resilience, Dhawan is now ready to turn the spotlight inward, sharing his personal story beyond the boundaries and big scores. The announcement came with a deeply emotional message from the former Indian opener, 'Not every win makes it to the highlights. Not every loss shows on the scoreboard. 'The One' is the story of all the in-betweens. Of learning, unlearning, and showing up, every single one's from the heart.' 'The One' promises to be a raw and unfiltered journey through the many layers of Dhawan's life, from his childhood in Delhi, fuelled by dreams of wearing the Indian jersey, to becoming one of India's most consistent and celebrated openers in white-ball cricket. While cricketing accolades and iconic innings are expected, the book's real depth lies in the moments that went unnoticed, the battles with self-doubt, the emotional toll of injuries, personal reinventions, and silent comebacks. 'The One' captures the full spectrum of Dhawan's life, his career highs, personal trials, leadership roles, and the quieter, introspective struggles that shaped him. At its core, the book is about dreaming, falling, learning, and rising again and again. Dhawan announced retirement from all forms of Indian cricket. The former southpaw pulled the curtains down on his illustrious cricketing career with an emotional announcement on Instagram. Known for his effortless run-scoring, Dhawan was a standout performer for India, particularly in the ODI format. In 167 ODI matches, he amassed 6,793 runs at an impressive average of 44.1, including 17 centuries and 39 fifties. In Test cricket, where he formed memorable partnerships with Murali Vijay, Dhawan scored 2,315 runs in 34 matches at an average of 40.6, with seven centuries and five half-centuries. In T20Is, Dhawan made 68 appearances, scoring 1,759 runs at an average of 27.9, including 11 fifties. In the domestic circuit, he played 122 First-Class matches, accumulating 8,499 runs at an average of 44.26, with 25 centuries and 29 fifties. (ANI)

BLACKPINK's Lisa Is Having This Much Fun In Japan Despite An Ear Injury

BLACKPINK's Lisa has jetted off to Japan. The singer-actress is making the most of her time at the destination. On Monday, the K-pop icon uploaded a carousel of pictures and a video on Instagram highlighting her recent activities in the Land of the Rising Sun. In the first couple of photos, Lisa was seen standing beside a vending machine. The 28-year-old picked out a fitted top featuring a knotted element around the neckline and a bold cut-out just below it. She teamed the basic yet edgy number with a matching pleated skirt. The low-waist silhouette came with ruffles at the hem, adding to the allure. Lisa sealed her easy-breezy style statement with a pair of rimless transparent glasses. In terms of accessories, she opted for a delicate star-shaped pendant and tiny diamond-encrusted studs. A quirky, multi-coloured bangle on one hand and a layered bracelet on the other rounded off her feisty jewellery game. Lisa sealed her minimal glam with pin-straight blonde loose tresses. View this post on Instagram A post shared by LISA (@lalalalisa_m) Next, Lisa flaunted her luxurious Louis Vuitton denim bag, adorned with cherry motifs and gold monograms all over. There remains no doubt that Lisa is a woman with exquisite taste, as it was she who started the now-viral Labubu doll trend. From relishing delicious dishes with her friend to roaming the bustling streets in Japan, Lisa's travel itinerary screamed good vibes. Her gorgeous mirror selfies and charismatic solo shots made it to the album as well. Lisa, however, sparked concern among fans after one video on the gallery showed her having an ear bleed. She did not share any additional information about the injury. Ditching a fancy caption, Lisa simply added a bandaged red heart and cherry emoji. Hoping that Lisa recovers soon, we eagerly wish to witness all her adventures in Japan.

Every desi fashion lover has a soft spot for sarees. From breezy printed drapes to heavy-duty Banarasi numbers, the six-yard wonder comes in ample varieties. Just like all Indian fashion icons, actress Mouni Roy also has a charming collection of sarees in her wardrobe. To set the monsoon mood right, the diva picked a forest green saree for her latest photoshoot. The fashionista shared a couple of photos wearing the drape in an Instagram post. The simple six-yard number came with a light brown pallu which was draped over her left shoulder. Mouni teamed the sophisticated silhouette with a matching, sleeveless blouse. The bralette-style fashion piece featured a deep front and back neckline for that added drama. The actress ditched all accessories to let her saree take centre stage. Minimal glam beauty strokes, including defined eyebrows, subtle eyeshadow, blushed cheeks and a dash of highlighter framed her face wonderfully. A glossy peach-tinted lip colour complemented her overall soft glam aesthetic. The wavy tresses, which were left open were parted in the middle and complemented the look perfectly. Earlier, the actress hit us with a fresh dose of six-yard magic by donning a gold saree from the label Baeli by Anu.
