Princess Eugenie has shared her joy over a notable new appointment that resonates deeply with King Charles.
In a significant announcement, it emerged that Eugenie, the King's niece, has taken on the role of a mentor within The King's Foundation charity's fresh 35 under 35 network that comprises influential change makers.
Her Royal Highness visited the Garrison Chapel, a London-based venue connected to the Royal charity, just last week, immersing herself in discussions with some members of this vibrant group.
The assembly of 35 under 35 embodies the foundation's mission during its 35th year, pushing for progress in fields dear to the monarch such as sustainability, age-old craftsmanship, and the arts. A keen advocate of contemporary art in her role at Hauser and Wirth gallery, Eugenie expressed anticipation about imparting her expertise in art to the network.
Eugenie expressed: "I'm delighted to be working with this group of exceptional young people who have been selected thanks to their outstanding work in areas the King is passionate about," reports the Mirror.
On a personal note, she remarked, "Given I recently celebrated my 35th birthday, it's fitting to take part in the charity's 35th anniversary celebrations and share my passion for art with the 35 under 35."
Additionally, she lauded these young trailblazers for their exceptional achievements that align with the interests of the King.
Other esteemed individuals joining her as mentors include renowned designer Samuel Ross, artist and social media sensation Sophie Tea Art, along with historian Alice Loxton, better known as @history_alice, who boasts millions of followers online.
The 35 under 35 list features talents such as woodworker Eli Baxter, embroiderer Angelica Ellis, basketmaker Florence Hamer, stonemason Freya de Lisle, milliner Barnaby Horn, painter Jo Rance, and environmental filmmaker Jack Harries.
This week, Eugenie received a special invitation to the Buckingham Palace garden party from the Prince and Princess of Wales, who requested her and Zara Tindall's company.
For the second year in a row, William has enlisted his cousins' help in hosting a party for the King.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond told the Mirror that it's a breath of fresh air to see younger royals like Eugenie getting involved.
She said: "The younger royals are easy in conversation and highly relatable. They're the sort of people you feel you can have a giggle with - and that makes all the inevitable nerves for people attending a royal event quickly disappear into thin air.
"And I think this is indeed the way things will happen in future. The cousins are a close and affectionate band of youngish mums and dads with lots in common. I don't think any of them are hankering after an official role as a working royal, but they are more than happy to help out their cousin whenever he asks.
"It strikes me as the perfect compromise between expanding the core group of working royals – with the extra cost to taxpayers that would entail – –and having a slimmed down monarchy which is just too small to cope."

'Japan's Baba Vanga' foresees 'devastation' in chilling prediction for 2030
Comic artist Ryo Tatsuki, who predicted the Covid-19 pandemic and Princess Diana's death, has been dubbed as Japan's version of the famed Bulgarian psychic A psychic who has been dubbed 'Japan's Baba Vanga ' has made a chilling premonition that she says will come true in 2030, just half a decade from now. Ryo Tatsuki is a Japanese comic artist who has previously predicted the deaths of Freddie Mercury and Princess Diana. The mystic also foresaw natural disasters like the Kobe earthquake in 2011 and health emergencies such as the Covid-19 pandemic. She has been compared to the infamous Baba Vanga, the Bulgarian psychic. Vanga's real name was Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, and she died at the age of 84 in 1996 having become famous for her clairvoyance. She claimed to have gained her powers during a storm, when she lost her eyesight at 12 years old. And 85 per cent of her visions are said to have come true. But Ms Tatsuki is now rising as a successor to the world-famous Baba Vanga, and she is predicting another deadly virus for 2030. In her book, The Future as I See It, published in 1999, the Japanese psychic described an 'unknown virus' in 2020, leading many people to believe she correctly predicted Covid. 'An unknown virus will come in 2020, will disappear after peaking in April, and appear again 10 years later,' she wrote. And worryingly she also believes a horrific virus will 'return in 2030' and cause even 'greater devastation'. This concerningly coincides with Covid cases rising in India as a new strain of the virus has been identified, reported the Mirror. Holiday bookings to Japan have dipped sharply over another of Ms Tatsuki's predictions. Fear of another big earthquake in Japan has been building for years with the country sitting on a seismic fault line, and it has seen its fair share of quakes in the past. In fact, the country experiences around 1,500 official earthquakes each year, according to the EarthScope Consortium and These earthquakes occur daily, though many are too small to be felt. The most recent major earthquake in Japan was on March 11, 2011 with a 9.0 magnitude force, and it was predicted by Ms Tatsuki. It caused a massive tsunami that claimed thousands of lives and led to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster. Four years ago, Ms Tatsuki published an updated version of her book which predicted another earthquake, this one in July 2025, which seems to have affected tourism to the country. CN Yuen, managing director of WWPKG, a travel agency based in Hong Kong, told CNN that bookings to Japan dropped by half during the Easter holiday. They are expected to dip further in the coming two months. Visitors from China and Hong Kong, which are Japan's second and fourth biggest source of tourists, have dropped significantly. The impact of her latest prediction is also being felt in South Korea and Taiwan, according to Bloomberg Intelligence. It used ForwardKeys data to gauge the impact on airline bookings and found that average bookings to Japan from Hong Kong were down 50 per cent year-on-year. Flights between late June and early July had plummeted by as much as 83 per cent. 'We expected around 80 per cent of the seats to be taken, but actual reservations came to only 40per cent,' Hiroki Ito, the general manager of the airline's Japan office, told the Asahi Shimbun following the sharp dip in travel over Easter. "The quake speculations are definitely having a negative impact on Japan tourism and it will slow the boom temporarily,' said Eric Zhu, Bloomberg Intelligence's analyst for aviation and defense. He said: "I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation." Meanwhile, ITV told the Mirror: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned." ITV also released a statement on his departure saying: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned." Since returning home, Kyle has posted a video online in which he explained the situation and shared his hopes to be able to take part in this year's series. In the clip, Kyle is wearing a white verst and jeans while holding a cup as he tells the camera: "Hello everyone, I'm Kyle. I just came on here to say, I'm sure you've seen the news circulating. I'm innocent, there was no further action." He sighs as he continues: "I'm not a bad guy, honestly, I'm not a bad guy. I'm a normal guy from a normal place. And opportunity arose to find love. A statement from Staffordshire Police read: "We were called to a social club on Riverway, Stafford, at 7.40pm on Friday 28 February following reports that someone had been glassed outside and a fight was taking place. "Some of the men involved were wearing masks and were carrying weapons. Two men went to hospital after suffering injuries at the scene. Both have since been discharged. "A man and a woman suffered minor injuries at the scene but did not want any medical treatment. "A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. Both were released with no further action." Before entering the villa, Kyle had shared his expectations from the show and how he chats up love interests. He said: "I just go with it, find something to compliment a girl on and go from there." The star went on to say he was looking for "someone that's fun, confident and just themselves". While Kyle won't be joining the series, his replacement was confirmed last night. The show has confirmed that Conor will instead be looking for love. Speaking about signing up for the show, he said he wanted someone "who is really sure of themselves, ambitious, a bit of a go-getter and good craic." Joining Conor in the villa are Blu, Shakira, Harry, Helena, Megan, Tommy, Alima, Ben, Sophie Lee, Dejon and Meg. The new series kicks off on ITV2 at 9pm on Monday June 9.
