Oualid & Fares Sokkar Join Forces on Summer Pop-Shaabi 'Bosso Alih'
Produced by YAM and Janno, the track is a flirty bop built for late-night spins and summer flings that blur into obsession. Jul 29, 2025 Moroccan-Egyptian rapper and singer Oualid has teamed up with mahraganat prodigy Fares Sokkar on a 'Bosso Alih', a flirty bop built for late-night spins and summer flings that blur into obsession. Produced by YAM and Janno, the track touches on themes of desire, longing and infatuation in a way that feels as sincere as playful. Oualid opens the song with a smooth delivery and poetic lyricism, painting his muse like a vision out of a daydream. Then Fares storms in with full-blown shaabi attitude, sharp, cheeky and completely lovestruck, flipping between cocky one-liners and raw romantic meltdowns - a counterpoint to Oualid's lowkey romanticism. At the centre of it all, the refrain 'Bosso Alih' serves as somewhat of a public service announcement, repeated with the urgency of someone spellbound. The music video for 'Bosso Alih' mirrors the track's playful nature and the artists' chemistry.
