People say revenge is a dish best served cold, but sometimes, one doesn't even need to be directly involved to savor it. Just ask Drew McIntyre. At SummerSlam 2025, CM Punk defeated Gunther in an instant classic to capture the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Night One.
But before he could celebrate,
Seth Rollins
made a shocking return, faking a knee injury all along and then cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase to steal the title and close the night in stunning fashion.
And watching it all unfold from afar was 'The Scottish Psychopath', who seemed to relish every second of Punk's heartbreak. For McIntyre, seeing his former rival's dream crumble was a satisfying moment of revenge, and that too without ever lifting a finger.
Drew McIntyre Labels CM Punk's SummerSlam Heartbreak as 'Karma'
During the SummerSlam post-show, Cathy Kelley caught up with a very satisfied Drew McIntyre, who couldn't hide the grin on his face as he reacted to CM Punk's crushing loss.
"Okay, I'm gonna have to say something about this. Karma's a hell of a thing. I've been watching what's gone on Raw with Seth (Rollins). Seth and I, professional rivals. Not like (CM) Punk and I. Seth has done exactly to Punk what Punk did to me, and tonight was the cherry on top.

Congratulations Seth. You deserve it, and karma is indeed a biatch."
For the unversed, just rewind to WrestleMania 40. It was the night that McIntyre captured the World Heavyweight title from Rollins in a brutal encounter. In addition, an injured Punk served as the special commentator for the bout. And after his victory, the Scot tried to get in Punk's face and mock him.
However, that proved to be a big mistake as Punk attacked McIntyre, which led Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and end McIntyre's reign in under 6 minutes at The Show of Shows.
Punk and the Scot then went on to have a trilogy of matches in one of the most personal rivalries in recent memory.
Drew McIntyre Finally Wins Big at SummerSlam 2025
Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul scored a big win on Night 1 of
WWE
SummerSlam, defeating country music star Jelly Roll and future WWE Hall of Famer
Randy Orton
in a high-energy tag team match on Saturday.
The bout delivered several highlight-reel moments, none bigger than when Paul launched himself off the top turnbuckle and crashed through the announce table onto Jelly Roll, drawing a huge reaction from the crowd.
Jelly Roll held his own, though, delivering back-to-back clotheslines and a thunderous chokeslam to the social media star.

Meryl Streep is the Queen of subtle style: Here's how to steal her look

In a fashion world that often favors extravagance over elegance, picking subtle sophistication over and over again? Groundbreaking! But that's what Miranda Priestly…Err… Meryl Streep is all about! At 75, Meryl Streep still reigns supreme as the undisputed queen of understated chic. Think classic, timeless, while making a statement? Commanding, without a loud bang? Meryl Streep is all that and more! The three-time Oscar winner has become a style icon not through shock value or runway antics, but through her quiet yet vivid presence, evergreen wardrobe choices, and graceful embrace of age and authenticity. She continues to redefine style on her own terms, favoring clean lines, luxe fabrics, and an air of dignified confidence that feels as fresh on the red carpet as it does at a press junket. Whether gracing red carpets with her signature smile and warmth or embodying the icy poise of the legendary Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada, Meryl's wardrobe is a masterclass in understated sophistication. Want to steal her look? Not sure if we can ace it, but sure we can try! A thriving icon (without even trying too hard) Unlike many Hollywood A-listers who rely on stylists to deliver shock-and-awe, Meryl Streep's fashion choices whisper rather than shout. She's never been one for flashy logos, skimpy silhouettes, or fast fashion. Instead, her look is defined by: Soft tailoring Monochromatic palettes Sustainable fabrics Structured yet feminine silhouettes Effortless layering She doesn't chase trends; she transcends them. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Indonesia: Unsold Sofas at Bargain Prices (Prices May Surprise You) Sofas | Search Ads Search Now Undo And that, in itself, is the most powerful fashion move of all. Making of Meryl's Style While a certain sense of style and fashion does come with a personality built within, we can always take cues from the patterns. Meryl Streep is no different case study. The keynotes: Crisp collars and shirt-dresses double up as secret weapons Streep's go-to off-duty silhouette? An evergreen testament to favoring structured collars, often in the form of shirt-dresses or crisp white blouses. A crisp, flattering shirt dress, usually belted, sometimes printed, always breezy. Whether it's an all-black dress shirt at a premiere or a breezy linen tunic on vacation, these pieces frame the face and command attention subtly. It's chic, yet classic, and it adds that big-bucks 'effortless polish'. Recreate your own look: Opt for a midi-length shirt dress in cotton poplin or linen. Try a midi-length shirtdress in a neutral tone (white, navy, camel). Unbutton the collar for casual sophistication. Add a waist-defining belt (think leather or raffia) and flats or mules. Finish with simple hoop earrings and a low bun. Monochrome magic Like Miranda Priestly, Meryl knows the power of a perfect palette. A head-to-toe monochrome outfit is all things magic. Remember Miranda's mirror moment? That black turtleneck with a black blazer and silver chain necklace is a masterclass in tonal layering. Be it ivory-on-ivory, forest green, navy head-to-toe, or steel blue, Meryl, too, builds her outfits in single-tone palettes that create visual harmony and elongate the figure. Recreate your own look: Choose a power color as your base—black, cream, slate blue, or olive green—and build your outfit around it, blazer, blouse, trousers, and even shoes in the same tonal family. Add texture through fabrics like silk, wool, or crepe to avoid flatness. Layer'em up like a legend Few people wear a coat like Meryl Streep, and one of her signature moves is effortless layering. From flowing tunics over wide-leg trousers to soft coats worn open over tailored suits, she knows how to create visual depth without adding bulk. Trench coats, longline dusters, and capes often feature in her wardrobe, lending both drama and structure. Miranda Priestly cue? That cinched-waist winter white coat with the oversized collar in The Devil Wears Prada? Fashion architecture at its finest. Recreate your own look: A neutral-colored wool coat with strong shoulders and a clean silhouette can elevate everything underneath. Look for waterfall cardigans, dusters, and trench coats in neutral shades, stone, charcoal, and sand work beautifully. Pair over monochrome basics for elongation and elegance. Add leather gloves for Miranda Priestly flair. Architectural accessories Meryl wears accessories like punctuation: never overused, always well-placed. Her mantra for the accessory game is simple: keep it minimal but meaningful. Think chunky tortoiseshell frames, sculptural necklaces, or an elegant silk scarf tied with effortless grace. Statement glasses when needed. It's all deliberate. Recreate your own look: Think one bold piece per outfit. Invest in one statement accessory, like a bold ring, a minimalist leather tote, a leather sling bag, or oversized glasses, that adds sophistication without overpowering the look. Shoes that mean business Gone are the days of painful stilettos. Meryl opts for kitten heels, pointed loafers, or elegant block heels that prioritize comfort and polish. Testament to the idea that sophistication can live in your comfort zone. Miranda Priestly cue? Remember those python-textured pumps? Drama meets boardroom. Recreate your own look: Even if not a pair from Prada, look for refined, almond-toe pumps in nude, black, or metallic finishes. They'll take you from boardroom to brunch without skipping a beat. Invest in one pair of high-quality neutral-tone loafers or kitten heels. Pointed toes elongate, while square or almond shapes add edge. Hair and makeup: Elegant, not over-the-top There's muted elegance in makeup that doesn't scream for attention. In the age of overpowering cosmetic procedures, natural yet subtle stands out. Meryl knows it well and takes the cue. Her hair is always effortless, often swept back, in loose waves, or a classy chignon. Her makeup follows suit: dewy skin, defined eyes, neutral lips. Recreate your own look: Embrace your natural hair texture, enhance rather than mask. Use a lightweight foundation, a subtle highlighter, and earth-toned eye shadows. Let your features shine, not your contour. To sum it up, clean, comfortable (blended with class), and structured go a long way when it comes to fashion and style. Keep it minimal, but wear it with confidence. Furthermore, take cues from Meryl and make sustainability your top priority while making a fashion statement. She's often seen recycling gowns, wearing decades-old coats, or choosing pieces made by ethical designers. In an industry that thrives on disposability, her mindful wardrobe is both rebellious and refreshing. To dress like Meryl is to dress with intention, yet never lose sight of the aura and the power you hold within. It's not about impressing anyone, it's about expressing yourself in a way that feels natural, intelligent, and quietly unforgettable. Remember, Miranda may have been fictional, but her sartorial presence was very real. She taught us that style is an extension of attitude, not a superficial add-on. Meryl, off-screen, reinforces the same idea: that you don't need trends to be stylish. You just need clarity and confidence. Style Book: Mrinmayee Godbole knows how to style herself to slay

Rhea Ripley sends 5-word reaction after Naomi pinned her to retain Women's World Championship

Rhea Ripley. Image via: WWE Naomi opened Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025 with a bang, defending her Women's World Championship in a high-stakes Triple Threat Match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. It was a chaotic and high-octane affair with plenty of bad blood, but in the end, it was Naomi who left MetLife Stadium with gold still around her waist. Rhea Ripley was frustrated after the pin. She summed up her night with a blunt five-word post on X. Rhea Ripley reacts as Naomi pulls off another last-second steal Frustrated Rhea Ripley shared her emotional reaction with a 5-word message, 'I think I hate SummerSlam…'Certainly, it was Naomi's night. The match had layers of drama even before it began. Naomi entered with a superstar's energy, flanked by her father, who delivered a powerful guitar solo to kick things off. It was definitely a fitting champion's entrance. From the opening bell, the tension in the ring was top-notch. Ripley and SKY briefly aligned, only to unravel when Ripley accidentally clocked SKY, allowing Naomi to shift momentum. Later, a highlight reel of counters, aerial assaults, and near-falls followed. Naomi hit a Split-Legged Moonsault. SKY flew off the ropes with a slingshot senton. Ripley unleashed raw power, delivering a Razor's Edge and a top-rope Avalanche Riptide. Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley vs. IYO SKY | Women's World Title Match: SummerSlam 2025 highlights Ripley nearly had the win, not once, but twice. But just like at WWE Evolution, Naomi waited for the perfect moment. After Ripley flattened SKY with the Avalanche Riptide and went for the cover, Naomi rolled in, grabbed Ripley's tights, and secured the pin. The crowd gasped. The referee's hand hit the mat for three. Naomi retained, again, by snatching victory out of Ripley's grasp at the last second. Rhea Ripley was surprised after being pinned by Naomi It's the second time Naomi has outmaneuvered Ripley when the title was within reach. Back at Evolution, Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank contract just as Ripley was about to pin SKY. Now, history repeated itself at SummerSlam. And it stung even more this time. Ripley's reaction after the match revealed that she was in shock after facing the devastating defeat. SKY, for her part, continues to hold a unique record— Ripley has still never pinned her. Triple H breaks silence on Brock Lesnar's stunning WWE return at SummerSlam 2025

Images via WWE: Brock Lesnar and Triple H The WWE landscape shifted dramatically at the end of SummerSlam 2025 as Brock Lesnar made a stunning return after nearly two years. 'The Beast Incarnate' stormed the ring moments after John Cena's emotional 37-minute battle against Cody Rhodes, which ended in defeat. Just as Cena appeared to be taking a final bow, Lesnar's music hit. He charged in and dropped his former rival with a brutal F5 to close the show. Lesnar's return is shocking considering his controversy after being named in the Jalen Grant assault lawsuit alongside Vince McMahon. But it seems that the new regime under Triple H is ready for the former 10-time WWE title holder to wreak havoc once again. Triple H opens up on Brock Lesnar changing WWE's landscape on the SummerSlam post-show On the SummerSlam post-show, WWE CCO Triple H addressed Lesnar's return and revealed what he thought about the former 10-time World title holder. 'My reaction was exactly what I thought it was gonna be, which was, if there had been a roof on this place, it wouldn't be here anymore. The dynamic in the room in WWE changes when The Beast is here." He added, "Seeing Brock Lesnar come back, anything that you thought was happening sort of all goes out the window because the factor of Brock now just changes that dynamic so incredibly. It makes it unpredictable." Triple H fulfills John Cena's wish of having Brock Lesnar in his retirement tour In a more surprising reveal, 'The Game' also revealed that Cena essentially wanted Lesnar to feature in his retirement tour, considering their legendary history in the WWE. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 20 Pieces of Clothing you Can be Too Old for Learn More Undo 'You know you have a finite number of dates on John Cena. You have a finite number of big matches and big moments, and incredible things you wanna do. And you wanna get to the majority of them. You can't get to everything, but as I said in the beginning, sort of for me, this is John Cena's wishlist. It's him writing the last chapter of his book.' The WWE CCO further added, 'It's about John being able to go out the way that he wants to, to write his chapter. One of the very first things I said to him was, 'Who do you want? Who do you want and how?' And we're working through that.' With only four months and a couple of dates remaining in Cena's final year in wrestling, the addition of 'The Beast Incarnate' as a potential opponent has certainly added more to the stakes. It will be interesting to see when these two titans collide. John Cena and Brock Lesnar: a rich history of two wrestling icons For those unfamiliar, Brock Lesnar and John Cena share a storied history that dates back to their early days in WWE. Both were part of the legendary 2002 Ohio Valley Wrestling class, which also produced Batista and Randy Orton. They debuted on the main roster around the same time and first clashed for the WWE Championship at Backlash 2003. Lesnar's departure from WWE in 2004 opened the door for Cena to rise as the face of the company throughout the next decade. When Lesnar made his thunderous return in 2012, their rivalry reignited, first in a brutal match at Extreme Rules 2012, and then again at SummerSlam 2014.
