Who is Tom Rhys Harries? Meet the actor who will play Clayface in the DC Studios movie
Per Deadline, DC went with a 'fresh face' in Harries to headline Clayface. The Welsh actor is best known for starring as Eddie Walker in Apple TV+'s Suspicion and Axel Collins in Netflix's White Lines. Other notable roles include Guy Ritchie's The Gentleman, Gerard Butler's Kandahar, and Doctor Who.

Speak No Evil's James Watkins directs Clayface for DC Studios. Mike Flanagan, the horror maestro behind The Life of Chuck and the upcoming Carrie TV series, penned the first draft of the script. Oscar nominee Hossein Amini provided additional drafts. Clayface will reportedly be a Hollywood horror tale centered around a 'B-movie actor' who, after injecting himself with a foreign substance to remain relevant, becomes a piece of clay, one that can reshape into many faces and forms.
Clayface was first introduced as Basil Karlo in Detective Comics #40 in June 1940. The character is a shape-shifting villain and one of Batman's many antagonists. However, Clayface is reportedly being developed as a standalone movie, not a vehicle to square off against Batman.

DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran will produce Clayface alongside The Batman's Matt Reeves and Lynn Harris.
'After a long and incredibly exhaustive search, we finally have our DCU Clayface in Tom Rhys Harries,' Gunn wrote on X. 'Both Matt Reeves and I were just blown away by this guy.'
Clayface will be the third movie set in the new DC Universe. Superman kicks things off this summer on July 11. Next year, Supergirl soars into theaters on June 26, 2026.
Clayface will begin shooting in the fall in the UK at Warner Bros. Leavesden studio. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 11, 2026.

Music therapy charity raises £14,000 at Kendal Calling Festival
A charity based in Penrith has raised £14,000 to support its music therapy work. Annie Mawson's Sunbeams Music Trust secured the donations during its first appearance at the Kendal Calling Music Festival, held at Lowther Deer Park. The trust delivers community music therapy to more than 2,000 disabled and disadvantaged children and adults each month. The trust credited the generosity of festival-goers and the support of Andy Smith and Ben Robinson, Kendal Calling directors. These take place at the Sunbeams Music Centre, in more than 50 care homes and day centres, and online. The charity said that the message at the heart of it's 33-year history, "bringing the power of music to Cumbria" was reaffirmed at the festival. The trust thanked the volunteers connected with the charity, saying these 'tremendous' funds could not have been raised without their "passion, enthusiasm, and incredible commitment.

Lou Adler & Tim Curry to Appear at 50th Anniversary Screening of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show'
The Rocky Horror Picture Show didn't receive a single Oscar nomination when it was released in 1975, but the film has since become a cult classic, so much so that even the Motion Picture Academy has taken notice. On Sept. 26, the Academy Museum in Los Angeles will host a '50th Anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show' program. Music industry legend Lou Adler, who was one of the producers of the film; Tim Curry, who starred in the film as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite alien scientist; and Sins O' The Flesh are scheduled to appear. 'Join us for a sing-along and shadow cast experience for this one-night-only 50th anniversary program,' the event's notes advise. The film was based on the 1973 musical stage production The Rocky Horror Show, with music, book and lyrics by Richard O'Brien. The Rocky Horror Glee Show aired on Fox in October 2010 as part of the second season of Glee. It featured cameos by Bostwick and Meat Loaf. An EP from the show, which included 'Time Warp,' 'Damn It, Janet' and 'Sweet Transvestite,' reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Charlie Wernham Breaks Silence After Robbie's Heartbreaking 'Hollyoaks' Exit originally appeared on Parade. Hollyoaks fans are in mourning after todays episode of the hit soap opera aired in the U.K. as it was confirmed that after 12 years, on and off the show, Robbie Roscoe (played by the fan favorite Charlie Wernham) was killed off. Now the actor has spoken about returning to the show, when he found out his exit storyline, and what he has coming soon. After weeks of speculation, viewers worst fears were confirmed, and it was revealed that the Robbie Roscoe they had been seeing in Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) was a figment of his imagination and that Robbie was yet another of Jez's victims. Wernham spoke with Digital Spy about his recent experience on the show. When Wernham returned to the soap last year it was only meant to be a short stint. 'At first I was only meant to do three months – that was why Robbie went off screen the first time, back at the start of last year. I had a job that was going to go ahead but then it didn't, so my diary became available.' The actor shared how the show approached him about returning again explaining, 'Hannah Cheers, who's the producer of Hollyoaks, said that she'd love to have me back for another 12 months. It was quite a big thing to relocate again, as I've got a life down here in Essex, so I said that it would probably only be for the year." When asked about his feelings about the current exit storyline, Wernham shared, 'The thing is, I never thought I'd be returning to the show in the first place. I just thought that too much time had gone by – and I was really busy doing other things anyway. I've now had a brilliant 15 months and I've done it exactly how I wanted to do it.' With that said, while the door appears to be closed with Robbie' s death, Wernham jokingly adds that this may not be the last time we see his character sharing, "I think that'll probably be it for Robbie, but then again Clare was dead and she's now back. Loads of people have died and come back. So is Robbie dead? Who knows? It's Hollyoaks! Wernham explained how he found out about what his exit storyline was going to be, sharing, "Si Wall, who's a producer on the show alongside Hannah, told me about it very cagily. He didn't know what my reaction was going to be, because it's all a bit bonkers when you say it out loud! It was a lot to take in!" The actor continued, "I sat with it and thought about it. Afterwards, I said that we really had to make the audience believe that Robbie was alive in that shed. Once the flashback and big reveal happens, you're only as strong as the set-up.
