Boots cuts 50% off 'feminine' luxury summer perfume hailed as 'one of the best'
Summer perfumes are often quite playful and refreshing. Whether going on vacation or heading out for the evening, it's handy to have one go-to scent for the entire season.
Since many bottles offer the familiar notes of floral bouquets and zesty fruits, there's a ton to choose from. However, for anyone looking for something new this year, we have spotted one that only recently launched - and it's already been hailed as "one of the best."
It's the Narciso Rodriguez For Her Musc Nude Eau De Parfum (50ml) that made its debut in 2024. Already a hit with perfume fans, it's a soft and gentle floriental musk scent that is already making waves in the perfume industry.
For those who have been wanting to give this new fragrance a go, it's officially available for half-price at Boots, with the health and beauty chain cutting the cost of a 50ml bottle from £96 to just £48.
Created by renowned perfumer Sonia Constant, Musc Nude was created as a new interpretation on the chypre family, with a "second skin" quality that has been designed to wrap around the wearer like a "protective armour."

Product Description
Said to be a "celebration of eternal femininity", it opens with top notes of piquant pink peppercorn accord that have been combined with an abstract floral bouquet of delicate white flowers.
At the perfume's core, there is a heart of musk that has been infused with floral notes of precious rose oil and orange blossom, before drying down to rich Tonka beans, cedarwood and patchouli to create a touch of warmth.
The feminine perfume is housed in an all-over nude pink bottle with a frosted finish that has been topped with a matching matte cap. Offering sophisticated lines, the design matches the elegance of the perfume included within.
Floriental scents offer something deeper than just general florals, with the most iconic arguably being the YSL Black Opium EDP. The floral gourmand scent, which boasts a shot of coffee, costs £62.99 for a 30ml at The Perfume Shop.
Meanwhile, for something a tad more budget-friendly, but no less luxurious, then there is the Flower by Kenzo Eau De Parfum For Women (100ml) that is now £49.98, down from £93, on Amazon.
However, those looking to give the Musc Nude Eau De Parfum a chance will be happy to know it has already earned a 4.5 rating based on hundreds of reviews that have called it a "beautiful" and "go-to summer scent."
Beauty deal of the week
Looking for last minute gift inspiration for dad ahead of Sunday, June 15.
Then don't fret, as we have you covered, as no-one can go wrong with a new bottle of cologne, and we have spotted Versace's The Dreamer for him Eau de Toilette for 67 percent less at Superdrug.
Hailed for being "underrated" and "truly unique", a large 100ml bottle of this fragrance has been dropped from £74 to £24, allowing you to make a huge saving of £50 and get in a thoughtful gift.
Described as "warm" and "fresh", Versace's Dreamer is an aromatic fragrance that, while belonging to the cologne family, is said to boast a variety of notes that make it suitable for both men and women.
The scent opens on vibrant notes of juniper, tarragon, and artemisia, before blending into heart notes of iris, lily and flax flowers to add a touch of softness. It then ends on a comforting base of tobacco blossom and amber, offering a smoky, luxurious finish.
The transparent, clear fragrance itself is housed in an opulent glass bottle that has been embossed with the iconic medusa logo, representing the luxury aesthetic of the iconic fashion house.
Versace's Dreamer EDT has managed to earn glowing reviews and a 4.6 rating from shoppers, with one saying: "Truly unique and dreamy fragrance. It's a great fragrance but it's underrated. Guys you have to try this one, it's great for all year round."
And someone else wrote: "Not to be overlooked. This is a lesser known Versace men's fragrance but oh my it is gorgeous ! Hubby loved it and amazing value for money."
Versace's The Dreamer For Him Eau de Toilette (100ml) can be bought for 67 percent less at Superdrug now.
One five-star review read: "I recently received a sample of this and I am so glad I did because the smell is so lovely. You need to purchase this immediately. One of the best scents I've ever smelt before and the scent lasts all day too which is a bonus."
A second delighted customer wrote: "Wow what a beautiful scent . It is very long lasting but subtle . Definitely a go-to summer scent."
The mix of florals and musk was not a hit with every shopper, as one disappointed customer said of the scent: "Unfortunately this perfume isn't for me, I like fresh, sweet and floral scents, this is more of a musky / talc scent. It's more of a mature older person sort of scent. Perfect for the grandmother."
The scent seemed to have more positive feedback though, with another fan saying: "This fragrance is stunning, so feminine and sensual, long lasting. It smells incredible and I felt so good wearing it. I got so many compliments on the fragrance. This is my new favourite!"
A similar shopper echoed: "This perfume has a really gorgeous scent. It is light, sweet and fresh. I would describe it as a very feminine fragrance and is perfect for spring/summer!"
The new Narciso Rodriguez for her Musc Nude Eau de Parfum (50ml) is available for half-price at Boots now.

Maya Jama 'offered eight-figure deal to stay as Love Island host as ITV bosses make bid to keep her amid interest from rivals'
ITV bosses are reportedly pulling out all the stops to keep Love Island host Maya Jama with a mega deal worth almost £2million on the table. The TV favourite, 30, has become the jewel in the crown of the dating show since taking over in 2023, and executives are determined not to lose her to rivals such as Netflix and Amazon. Under the proposed deal, Maya would pocket more than £800,000 to front the flagship summer series, the same again for the winter All Stars version, plus a hefty sum for hosting After Sun. The presenter's mix of star power, wit and her jaw-dropping style is thought to have made her one of ITV's most bankable names. A source told The Sun: 'Maya is a massive hit with fans and bosses. ITV are desperate not to lose her. 'They're acutely aware that she's being offered lucrative work with other companies such as Netflix. She's hugely in demand.' The TV favourite, 30, has become the jewel in the crown of the dating show since taking over in 2023, and executives are determined not to lose her to rivals such as Netflix and Amazon (pictured with 2025 winners Cach Mercer and Toni Laites) They added: 'It is still early days but bosses are preparing an extremely good package for Maya that she would find hard to turn down.' The Daily Mail has contacted ITV and Maya's representatives. Bristol-born Maya, currently dating Manchester City ace Ruben Dias, 28, has been linked to a new Amazon Prime entertainment show, rumoured to come with a huge pay cheque. She's also branching into acting and has landed herself a role as a gangster's wife in Guy Ritchie's Netflix hit The Gentleman. Earlier this week, Maya thanked fans on Instagram after the summer finale. She said: 'Love island live final completed! What a night, what a b****y series. 'We are one of the few shows to do our finals live and I'm so grateful for the trust because it gives so much room for silliness and iconic moments, you truly never know what will happen and I had so much fun ❤️ 'A massive congratulations to our winners Toni & Cach you stole our hearts & to every islander for keeping us entertained in one of the most dramatic series yet, you the real MVPs. 'Thank you to everyone behind the scenes for working non stop & to everyone at home for watching, I love youuu' It comes after Maya won huge praise for her hosting skills during Monday night's Love Island final - with fans lauding the star on X. After the final, the star, who has fronted the show since 2022, took to the microblogging site to respond to the adoring viewers. Among the tweets, Maya was praised for one of her interviews and the fact she did not use cue cards - something she was glad had been spotted. The delighted fan penned: '[For real] @MayaJama eating this interview. No card in her hands too. #LoveIsland', to which she revealed a behind-the-scenes insight. Maya replied: 'Cutey! I pride myself on the no Que cards so thankyou for noticing'. Adding to her organic presenting style, the host also hit out at a fan who claimed she should be more unbiased, although she remained defiant in her stance - telling the follower to 'shut up' amid criticism of a tender moment. Maya was at the helm of the operation on Monday as she hosted the live final, which saw Toni Laites and Cach Mercer storm to victory. Among the tweets, Maya was praised for one of her interviews and the fact she did not use cue cards - something she was glad had been spotted It comes after Maya thanked everyone for allowing the final to be live as it allowed for 'silliness and iconic moments', adding that you never know what will happen The loved-up pair beat Shakira Khan, 22, and Harry Cooksley, 30, to the top spot, while Yasmin Pettet, 24, and Jamie Rhodes, 26, placed third, and Ty Isherwood, 23, and Angel Swift, 26, came fourth. A number of hilarious, dicey and awkward moments took place on the show, particularly during Maya's grillings of the stars. She was praised for her professionalism in the face of scandals. A stand-out moment in Maya's interviews was when Toni's ex Harrison Solomon, 22, rolled his eyes when she made a comment about his behaviour during the show. In her candid style, Maya pointed out: 'You did say that you learnt a lot being in here...' to which Toni said: 'That's for damn sure'.

I usually run from anything labelled glowy as I have extremely oily skin, so I prefer products that help reduce shine rather than add to it. As expected, it does leave skin incredibly glowy – yet like magic, it doesn't feel wet or sticky on. In fact, it dries surprisingly fast, almost like a setting spray. I love that it's a non-aerosol mist, as they are easier to pack and better for the planet. But I do find it means the spray can be inconsistent and sometimes feel a little too wet, so make sure you shake it well before using. LUXURY Supergoop! (Re)setting Powder SPF 30 acts almost like a dry shampoo I first tried this product a couple of years ago in the US, but now it's available at Boots so I've finally been able to restock! I love how versatile the powder is. You can use it over your face in the same way you would a setting powder, and it also works on the scalp, acting almost like a dry shampoo to absorb moisture while helping prevent sunburn. But reapplying it multiple times becomes tricky, as it can end up looking cakey, so I find it works best in tandem with a face mist (SPF or otherwise) to add some moisture back into skin. But if you're worried about shine, it's a no-brainer.
