Garnier Vitamin C UV Mist is so lightweight you won't notice it at all
The first time I used this mist I thought it was broken, given that my eyes were closed and I didn't feel a single thing hitting my face.
So to double check, I applied it to my arm – keeping my eyes open – and it turns out, it's just so lightweight you won't notice it at all.
In fact it's so good that we've just crowned it the winner of Best Face Sunscreen in this year's Fabulous Beauty Awards.

Naked Sundays SPF50+ Hydrating Glow Mist doesn't feel wet or sticky on
Full transparency, I didn't think I'd like this, given the name.
I usually run from anything labelled glowy as I have extremely oily skin, so I prefer products that help reduce shine rather than add to it.
As expected, it does leave skin incredibly glowy – yet like magic, it doesn't feel wet or sticky on. In fact, it dries surprisingly fast, almost like a setting spray.
I love that it's a non-aerosol mist, as they are easier to pack and better for the planet.
But I do find it means the spray can be inconsistent and sometimes feel a little too wet, so make sure you shake it well before using.

Supergoop! (Re)setting Powder SPF 30 acts almost like a dry shampoo
I first tried this product a couple of years ago in the US, but now it's available at Boots so I've finally been able to restock!
I love how versatile the powder is.
You can use it over your face in the same way you would a setting powder, and it also works on the scalp, acting almost like a dry shampoo to absorb moisture while helping prevent sunburn.
But reapplying it multiple times becomes tricky, as it can end up looking cakey, so I find it works best in tandem with a face mist (SPF or otherwise) to add some moisture back into skin.
But if you're worried about shine, it's a no-brainer.

Natalie lived in the seemingly idyllic and luxurious city for years until the Dubai lifestyle became too much - because the city's "business model" didn't allow for "work-life balance". After years of working 80 hour, six-day weeks, Natalie moved back to the UK in 2019 and has settled down in West Parley, Dorset. And, while she loved Dubai and says she'll go back for holidays, she said she's unlikely to relocate back there. As swathes of Brits opt to move out there with high expectations of luxurious living and endless fun, Natalie feels that Brits going with high expectations "may be disappointed." Natalie, now a self-employed PGA professional, said: "I never saw myself leaving Dubai - I was working at one of the best golf schools in the world. "And the city was absolutely stunning, on my day off I went down to the beach and when you let your hair down you could have a bloody good time. "But afterwards you'd look at your bank balance and think 'oh crap'. "But the business model out there - there is no work life balance. "I was coming home to my partner after 12 hour days, at 9pm, and I could barely hold a conversation because I'd be so tired. I fled the UK for sunny Dubai - life back home is miserable & no-one has any cash "In my last year I told him 'I can't do this' - you know when your time is up. "It's a very glamorous place and I can see moving there is a trend - but everywhere has their downfalls." At the time, she was making the equivalent of around £25-£30k a year - but the high costs in Dubai meant she couldn't enjoy the full extent of the luxurious lifestyle compared to what people assume. She said: "I was just making money to survive - in the service industry you were worked very hard. How easy is it to move abroad? Brexit means British citizens now have to apply for visas to move to countries within the EU. While some countries residency restrictions are easier than others, here's what you need to do at home before moving: Notify HMRC about your upcoming move. Let your local authority know and provide a forwarding address. Contact your mortgage and utility providers and bank before leaving. If you have paid enough UK national insurance contributions, you can qualify for a state pension abroad - contact the International Pension Centre. "I was working six days a week and I couldn't afford to reduce my hours." A poll of 1,000 mums and dads found 87 per cent think getting to do kids' activities is 'one of the best things about being a parent'. And far from being bored while children play, 27 per cent secretly love to play on the swings and 22 per cent enjoy a bouncy castle. While others quietly like colouring in (31 per cent), water fights (32 per cent) and playing with toys (30 per cent). The research, commissioned by found 79 per cent claim doing activities with the offspring makes them 'feel younger' – by an average of 14 years. It also emerged 94 per cent of parents wish they could enjoy more quality days out with their kids. But working hours (65 per cent), the cost of living (42 per cent), and struggling to come up with new ideas for what to do (22 per cent) were named among the top barriers. The study also found 69 per cent said quality time with their children simply makes them happy, while 68 per cent claimed it leaves them feeling closer with their offspring. But 43 per cent said it has direct benefits on their mental health and 40 per cent think it allows them to focus on what is really important in life. The research also revealed nearly all parents (96 per cent) plan activities with their kids that they enjoy doing too, at least some of the time. With 16 per cent admitting that they always pick something they will have fun doing as well as their youngsters. A third (33 per cent) of parents prefer to travel by train on their days out, with 61 per cent of those enjoying being able to give their full attention to their child. But 56 per cent like that the adventure starts 'as soon as you board the train' and 53 per cent said it helped enable quality time as a family. Catherine Lyver, from Railcard, which has helped 7.4 million customers save an estimated £1.5 billion over the last year, added: 'Summer is a time for play – whether you are an adult or a child. 'And we want to encourage parents to reclaim their joy of play and adventure with the kids over the school holidays by taking advantage of savings on travel and attractions across Britain when you travel by train.'
