Amazon flash deal on Galaxy Tab A9+ worth £209 touted as 'cheaper alternative to an iPad'
Consumers who want to upgrade their current tablet, or have never owned one but want to purchase one, can currently save money on a Galaxy Tab A9+ 2025 model. The newest version of the device typically retails at £209 but is currently a flash deal at Amazon, reduced to £159 offering a saving of £50.
The tablet has an 11-inch screen, 64GB storage, and also has a feature that lets owners split the screen into three for multitasking. Other highlights include a 'Secure Folder' to store important data such as payment details. It also comes with a year of warranty.
The Galaxy Tab A9+ 2025 model is available in three colourways - graphite, silver, and navy - with all three hues are on sale for £159. The tablet also boasts a camera at the back.

Galaxy's Tab A9+ 2025 model has more than 2,400 reviews on Amazon, and more than 200 have been bought in the past month. One user described it as 'much cheaper than an iPad' and said it 'works well'.
Another customer bought it as a gift for someone else and said: "Having never had a Samsung tablet before, I was a little wary of it, but since buying and giving it to my wife, she's over the moon, and doesn't miss her iPad one bit."
Buyers who want an Apple tablet can buy an iPad mini 2024 edition at Currys for £499. It has an 8.3-inch screen, built-in Apple Intelligence, and promises an 'all-day battery life'.
Returning to the reviews on Amazon's Galaxy Tab A9+, another user bought it on Prime Day. They said: "To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much out of it. I've set it up today, and I'm very impressed by this little tablet. It was easy to set up and customise.
"It's very responsive and is perfect for my relative to use. If anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative to an iPad mini, then take a look at the Samsung A9 tablet."
Someone else bought it to replace an older tablet model, but wasn't as pleased. They wrote: "The one annoying problem is that they only provide a charging lead that is not a USB connector as stated in the product description. I had to buy a charging plug with a socket for this lead.
"Very disappointing, you wouldn't buy a TV without the means to plug it in. It stinks of profiteering by Samsung."
For cheaper alternatives to Apple and Samsung devices, this Lenovo Tab M11 is £119 at Argos, originally £129. Designed for streaming and to be used as a study companion, it has an 11-inch screen and up to ten hours of video playback. However, it does not come with a charger.
An additional purchaser of the Galaxy Tab A9+ said: "It's a nice tablet; the colours are crisp and vibrant. It's a high-quality product. It runs quickly. I really liked the tablet's colour options. I chose a darker shade of blue, and I love it. The expandable memory feature is good.
"It's easy to use, and the settings aren't confusing. Being Android, I didn't have to pay extra for any apps."

Amazon shoppers have been raving about Vax Smartwash Pet-Design Carpet Cleaner ability to keep their carpets looking fresh. One said: "If you're wondering whether or not to by this, just do it, we've had carpets for 20 years and never been properly cleaned and we're thinking about new carpets. Decided to buy the Vax just to see if it made a difference, to say I was surprised is putting it mildly. Excellent machine and brought the carpets up like new, we bought the ultimate+ pet cleaner and it's 10/10. Easy to operate, just fantastic." With £150 off, now is a good time to invest in the Vax Smartwash Pet-Design Carpet Cleaner. Although the initial outlay of £200 is an investment, for shoppers who regularly rent carpet cleaning machines it could end up saving money in the long run. It's also worth noting that shoppers will need to purchase the cleaning solution separately. As someone who owns a carpet cleaning machine, I'd say if the carpets have particularly stubborn stains they often use a fair amount of the fluid whilst in use. Plenty of shoppers left the machine five star reviews however (78% of the total ratings were full marks), with one saying: "A brilliant easy to use machine. Mixes the water and solution automatically and leaves the carpet like new. As easy to use as a vacuum cleaner. Highly recommended, 5 stars." Another remarked: "Bought for my partner who is a clean freak at the best of times and had been hounding me about washing our carpets and wanted to hire a local guy who was charging £100 per room which sounded insane. We went for this machine and it's fantastic. Build quality is very high as expected with such a large well known brand. They continued: "It is very easy to set up and before you know it you are washing and cleaning your carpets. Not sure if it is just me but I found it very therapeutic and really enjoyed cleaning.
