NFL insider says Rams, Cowboys are teams to watch in Jalen Ramsey trade talks
The Miami Dolphins are in talks with several teams about a trade involving cornerback Jalen Ramsey and the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys are among the top teams to watch, according to one NFL insider.
A deal involving the seven-time Pro Bowl cornerback has been a foregone conclusion since April when Dolphins general manager Chris Grier announced in a press conference that the two sides were ready to part ways. The delay in a deal getting done is likely because Miami is waiting until June for salary cap reasons. The Dolphins have also reportedly been looking for interested teams to take on a significant portion of Ramsey's $24.2 million fully guaranteed salary.

"The Dolphins haven't shown a willingness to pay a lot of that money and neither do [other] teams," Jeremy Fowler said Friday on ESPN's SportsCenter. "The LA Rams have been previously involved here, they won a Super Bowl with Ramsey, they're very familiar with the player. Nothing hard and fast, though, as far as a deal.
"NFC East could be one to watch. The Dallas Cowboys, they made three trades this offseason for players on rookie deals, could they make a fourth trade for a veteran who's on a bigger contract? They need cornerback help. When I talked to someone in Dallas, they said 'It's possible we're not done. It's slow right now, but we could always be looking to add.'"
Last month, a report highlighted five teams -- the Rams, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders, and Philadelphia Eagles -- as interested in Ramsey.

Hall of Fame QB Peyton Manning becomes latest sports celebrity to join NWSL Denver's ownership group
DENVER (AP) — Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning became the latest sports celebrity to join the ownership group of Denver's National Women's Soccer League expansion team on Tuesday. Manning follows two-time Olympic champion ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin, who was announced as an investor last month in a club that will make its debut next season. Advertisement Manning and Shiffrin join an NWSL group in Denver led by controlling owner Rob Cohen. Denver was awarded the NWSL's 16th team earlier this year. 'Peyton's legacy as a champion and a leader is second to none,' Cohen said in a news release. 'His impact on Colorado sports is unmatched, and we're incredibly proud to have him as a partner. He brings passion, insight, and deep local roots — all of which will help us shape the future of Denver NWSL.' All around the NWSL, big-name athletes are investing in teams. Manning's brother, Eli, is part of Gotham FC, while Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is involved with the KC Current and NBA star James Harden backs the Houston Dash. Decorated Alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn supports the Utah Royals FC. Manning was a five-time MVP and two-time Super Bowl winner in a career that started with the Indianapolis Colts and ended in Denver after helping the Broncos to a title following the 2015 season. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021 after throwing for 71,940 yards with 539 touchdowns and 251 interceptions. Advertisement Since his retirement, Manning has grown his entertainment company Omaha Productions, which produces ESPN's 'Manningcast.' The show is hosted by the Manning brothers and offers an alternate way to watch 'Monday Night Football.' 'It's a real honor to be part of something so meaningful to the Colorado community,' Manning said of joining Denver NWSL. 'I'm proud to support the growth of women's sports and excited to help build a club that our city and our state can rally behind.' Denver NWSL is building a 12,000-seat temporary stadium that will be its home during the 2026 and '27 seasons. The team also recently unveiled plans for a state-of-the-art, 14,500-seat stadium that will be located in downtown Denver. ___ AP soccer: Pat Graham, The Associated Press

Travis Kelce Subtly Hints That He and Taylor Swift May Be Living Together
Are Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift living together? It appears that just might be the case judging by recent comments made by Kelce on the May 14 episode of his New Heights podcast, which he hosts alongside brother Jason. During the episode, the brothers welcomed former NFL stars Andrew Whitworth and Ryan Fitzpatrick for an exclusive interview, and while interviewing the two, Kelce spoke a bit about the $20 million Boca Raton property he's renting for the off-season. "We've got chimneys and we've got furniture," Kelce explained, and it appears from the use of the word "we," that he and Swift could be living together. Fitzpatrick followed up Kelce's comments by asking if he (Kelce) is the one that gets to make the decorative decisions in the house, to which Kelce coyly replied, "It was an executive decision by myself for the betterment of everyone, yes." While Kelce didn't give an official confirmation, it definitely seems like the lovebirds have taken the next step in their relationship. The couple, who have been dating since the end of 2023, are "absolutely happy" together according to an October 2024 episode of the show, where he was joined by Grotesquerie co-star Niecy Nash-Betts. During the convo, Kelce thanked Nash for always having his back when it comes to the questions she's bombarded with about his relationship with Swift. "Every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love," he said. "You know it's real. And you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy." Time will certainly tell, but it very much appears Kelce and Swift are making progress towards those rumored wedding bells. NFL free agency rumors: Latest on Aaron Rodgers, other top remaining free agents
NFL free agency rumors: Latest on Aaron Rodgers, other top remaining free agents Show Caption Hide Caption Ashton Jeanty talks all things Las Vegas Raiders and his hopes in the NFL Ashton Jeanty spoke with USA TODAY Sports about his upcoming rookie season with the Raiders and his partnership with Sharpie. Sports Seriously There aren't many positive connotations associated with being late or coming in last. In a world full of negativity, we can also choose to see the positives – especially for some of the last free agents available for 2025. For Aaron Rodgers, Von Miller and everyone else, signing later in the process means the veterans are spared for those lengthy summer workouts. Specifically for someone like Rodgers, he is essentially the only starting quarterback available on the open market. If one team suffers an unfortunate injury, suddenly he becomes more coveted. There's something freeing about having options and the ability to live life in the driver's seat. For some of the NFL's remaining free agents, don't look at it as being the last pick, especially since they might surprise you as being the ultimate cherry on top. Here's the latest on the NFL free agent landscape as we head into the dog days of the offseason. NFL free agency rumors: Latest on Aaron Rodgers, top remaining free agents Gabe Davis to visit Steelers Date: June 3 June 3 Source: ESPN's Adam Schefter The Jaguars inked Davis to a three-year, $39 million deal last offseason and proceeded to cut him one year later. Designated as a post-June 1 cut, Davis is still out on the open market and looking for his next team. That opportunity might come in Pittsburgh when the receiver visits the Steelers on Thursday. After trading George Pickens, the Steelers are on the hunt for some more pass-catchers. With the team unlikely to trade for Jonnu Smith, Davis becomes a real possibility on the open market. If that comes to fruition, it remains a mystery who will be throwing the ball to him in 2025. Patriots don't plan to release Stefon Diggs Date: June 2 June 2 Source: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport Diggs has been no stranger to the news over the last week, but his off-the-field shenanigans aren't expected to result in his return to free agency. Speculation has run rampant about Diggs and his future in New England after signing a three-year, $69 million deal this offseason, but cooler heads have seemingly prevailed. For now, it appears the 31-year-old will remain with the Patriots as he continues to recover from a torn ACL. MORE: Stefon Diggs back on the field for Patriots OTAs after viral boat video Jedrick Wills plans to sit out most, potentially all, of upcoming season Date: June 2 June 2 Source: Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz The 26-year-old Wills has dealt with a pesky knee injury and is working to recover from it. As a result, he plans to sit out most, or potentially all, of the 2025 season. According to Schultz, Wills believes that is best for his long-term future despite having drawn interest from multiple teams this offseason. Aaron Rodgers 'has not affirmatively' told the Steelers he'll sign Date: May 30 May 30 Source: NFL Network's Tom Pelissero Aaron Rodgers may eventually suit up for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He may not. The bottom line is that only Rodgers knows what will happen – and we can't even be sure of that. It's been an offseason full of mystery for the four-time league MVP, who has gone off the grid for the better part of the last five-plus months. Pelissero noted on "The Rich Eisen Show" that the Steelers are operating under the assumption he'll sign, but they haven't been given any guarantees. With all their eggs in the Rodgers basket, Pittsburgh is taking a big gamble with their team for 2025. Von Miller plans to play in 2025 Date: May 28 May 28 Source: 9NEWS' Mike Klis In an interview with 9NEWS in Denver, Miller talked about his desire to move up the NFL's all-time sack list as one of the reasons he wants to keep playing. Specifically, his desire to pass former teammate DeMarcus Ware is one of those on-field reasons. Miller also wants to keep playing so his two sons, Valor, 4, and Victory, 2, can appreciate seeing their father play. The future Hall of Fame player is still on the open market, but fans should expect to see him suiting up for one of the league's 32 teams in 2025. Nick Chubb not expected to be back with Browns Date: May 28 May 28 Source: ESPN's Jeremy Fowler Fowler said during an appearance on ESPN Cleveland radio that he doesn't expect Chubb to return to the Browns. It shouldn't come as a surprise given that Cleveland invested heavily at the position in the draft, where they selected Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson. That left Chubb as the odd man out in a crowded room, especially given his injury history. Fowler believes the Bears and Commanders could instead come calling for the veteran running back.
